Red Wing Shoe Store

We finally found the right size, fit, and style for my fiancé. After going to four different stores out in LA prior to this one and getting the run around on where they had the specific boot that we were looking for we finally found it here. Totally worth the drive. Adam helped us. He answered all of our questions, brought out a few different boots for my fiancé to try on and wasnt pushy on selling the boots. Id recommend this location to anyone in need of work boots. 5 stars for great service and great footwear.

Came in looking for soft toe boots for my husband, had a look around the VERY small store just to see their selection. Once we found what we were looking for, we asked for a size 11. The young man «helping» us wasn’t very helpful, he went looking for the boot and returned in the blink of an eye to tell us they didn’t have it. He at no time offered to show us what he DID have. When we walked over to the steel toe side of the store he pointed out that we weren’t going to find soft toe boots there, as if we had no idea what we were looking for. It just felt like he was trying to hurry us out, not planing on returning, EVER.

This is the only place I go for my work shoes. I am a return, return, return customer. Anthony and Rick are great and have all my info on file ready to get what I need without any hassle. Prices are very reasonable. They go above and beyond any other shoe store I have been to.

Very smalll red wing store but it has a great work shoe/​boot collection. Caution, if you don’t really look for the store you might drive right past it! We were able to actually find size 13 in stock for my hubby!
The man behind the counter was a doll and he has definately been a resident for his entire life because he was very knowledgeable of the area.
They offer a discount for card-​carrying union members so that was a very nice plus! Definate recommend for this type of item. If you want a well made work boot, buy Red Wing.

I came here this past weekend to pick up a pair of women’s work shoes. I tried Big 5 down the street on Magnolia before hand and had no luck there. I came to Red Wing expecting a large department store (because of their large selection on the web site), but this store is actually very small. The size of the area where the shoes are displayed is probably around the size of a college dorm room.
They didn’t have any work shoes for women in stock… but I can sometimes just fit into one of the smallest men’s sizes. The guy working suggested a pair of shoes that fit me great! They were comfortable, as opposed to the way the other work boots on the wall looked. The only downside was that the shoes sort of looked like tennis shoes… I was hoping to find something that would look more like a casual/​business shoe, as some of my coworkers have shoes like that, but as I had already looked somewhere else, I didn’t want to do too much more hunting. So I called the Corona Red Wing Shoe store to ask about their women’s work shoes… but they really only have boots, apparently.
The manager at this Riverside store apparently does not really like ordering from the catalog (from where else does he order, I wonder?), but if you see something on the website you like, you can call the Corona store and have them order a pair for you. The guy on the phone from Corona said it might take ~2 weeks, so keep that in mind.
All in all… I do wish they had a larger selection, especially for women, but I guess there is not the highest demand… Anyway, the guy working was really friendly and nice, and I enjoyed this whole work shoe-​buying experience with his help. :)
