Dr. John Portwood was very unprofessional, as well as his Medical Assistant. After a car accident j had pain directly on my spine. Dr. Portwood said it was because I was overweight and refused to treat me. His exact words were«cut your calories and you’ll cut your pain.» Then when diagnosing my knee injury he also said it was due to being overweight and having a form of arthritis, so he wrote a prescription. However, he did not send it to be filled until a week later after I kept calling the office. The MA just said all she could do is «put it in front of his face and hope he gets to it.» … Worse experience EVER at any doctors office. Would NOT recommend his services to anyone.
