food last time was good but three times in a row they dont have bbq pork so everytime we ask how long they say 30 mins then 45 mins they have good food but they push there older food on you and get mad if you want to wait for what you want. if you see something low on your line you start making it 30 mins the first time a hour the second time and 45 mins the third strike 3

It’s actually nice to have the staff/​presumably owner be vegetarians because not only do they offer vegetarian versions of their dishes, but they’re actually made well and incorporate things like chopping the tofu into smaller cubes so that it’s not impossible to eat with the food. Larger cubes often turn out kinda squishy by being simultaneously over and undercooked, which is not an issue here! It’s made perfectly and to order.
The cashier even recommended other vegetarian options in the area.

Overall it wasn’t too bad there was a bit of a wait for the food which is understandable. I was not able to try the ruby chicken everyone has been talking about. My girlfriend thought that the orange chicken was more bread than chicken. I would come back again.

This is the best fast food Chinese there is around. I love the chicken bowls and wonton soup. I have tried a few of the main dishes on the steam tray but not all of the food. My favorite here is the orange chicken, veggies, wings, and teriyaki chicken.

Locked doors 15 minutes before stated closing time. Honor your business hours. I drove out of my way try this place. :(

I’m not sure how they have so many 5 stars. I’m not sure if I can on an off day but the food wasn’t fresh. The ruby chicken was 90% breading, 10% chicken. They told me it would take 15 minutes to make beef & broccoli seemed like they just didn’t want to make more. The jalapeño Chicken was good but barely any chicken. They do give you huge portions. Wouldn’t come back.

I really love this place in Riverside. I usually come here to get dinner before heading to the drive in movie theater. It’s right next door and they always pack their to go boxes as much as they can.
It’s a little gem hidden in the Lincoln plaza, near the Mr. Blue’s donuts. It doesn’t look like much, but the best places rarely do.
Their menu doesn’t mention this, or at least not the last time I was there, but they have vegetarian and vegan versions of most of their foods. You can ask them for any of the items with tofu and they will make it for you in the back.
It was a wonderful surprise since I really love vegetarian food. I came here with my sister, who is a vegan, and my mom when we were all together. They got our food to us quickly and it was really fresh and delicious.

Food is really good and looks fresh. The prices are super affordable and generous portions. I got the ruby chicken since a few people ahead of me were getting it and it was delicious.

What can I say? You want fast, cheap, yummy chinese food late night? Come here. You want authentic chinese? Don’t.

Tried this place out due to the high Unilocal reviews and was not disappointed. I tend to be very selective of Chinese food places. Very clean inside and the food didn’t taste like it had been sitting out for hours. The staff was friendly, and even made sure to say goodbye as we exited the restaurant, even though they were helping someone. Will definitely be back.

My husband and I have been craving Chinese food for awhile so we finally decided to get some last night. Lucky Wok has good reviews and is located close to our home so we decided to give it a try.
I don’t know if we got there at the perfect timing or if they are always changing out the food, but we got our chow mein, fried rice, and orange chicken fresh from the kitchen. We also got mushroom chicken and kung pao chicken (not straight from the kitchen) but it still tasted great, The food was delicious and we didn’t feel horrible after eating it. It was super inexpensive and the service was wonderful as well, which is obviously fantastic.
Bottom line, inexpensive pricing, delicious food, and fast/​friendly service, what more could you ask for.

The food is great.
The price is right.
And the serves is outstanding.
What more do you want.
My family’s and mine place to get take out Chinese food in all of Riverside.

The Lucky Wok on Limonite by the Jurupa Spectrum used to be my favorite Chinese food in Riverside, but then they changed management and their food is now totally inedible. I tried all the other Lucky Woks in that area and they were all disgusting.
Then I found this one. And I am so glad to say that I now have another Lucky Wok to go to. Being skeptical as a result of my other experiences, I definitely checked Unilocal first before I tried it. Since the reviews were good, I decided to give it a shot.
$ 6.79 for a combo C – to me that’s an awesome price, especially for what you get. They don’t skimp out on that third item — they actually get a separate small container for it since they know it won’t fit in the box. I LOVE when they do that — I don’t like when some places just put a little bit of the third item on the top of a combo B and call that a combo C. No, this is «AMURICA» and I’m knowingly and willfully cheating on my diet — LOAD IT UP. Which they did!
They let us sample anything we wanted to sample, which is also a plus. (But I think they could tell we were serious buyers)
I got steamed rice, chow mein, broccoli beef, ruby chicken, and orange chicken. I also got a couple of sides of kung pao chicken and teriyaki chicken just to try (omg you guys I ended up eating almost all of that…) The ruby chicken is a hot version of orange chicken and it was a GREAT new item. I think the best thing about it all was that the chow mein, orange chicken, and kung pao chicken had similar flavors to the Lucky Wok on Limonite (BEFORE the change in management, that is). When I tasted those familiar flavors, I knew I had found a suitable replacement.
The only downside was the teriyaki chicken. The cuts were odd and a lot of it was dry and tough. I think it would taste better if it had been prepared better (maybe an «off» day for it? idk) but I don’t know if I would get that again. But the other four items I mentioned, yeah, would totally do it again. Someone needs to keep me on a leash and YANK IT though because I might go all out like I did last time, and my waistline is not too forgiving…
Hopefully when I visit again it will be a similar experience!
