Heck yeah this place is my favorite. Everybody gets to choose exactly what they want. You dont have to worry about every meat selection being a huge plate you have to finish.

If you want a good deal, try to go before 4:30pm. It’s $ 13.99 until 4:30pm, which is a total steal. After 4:30 it goes to $ 20 per person. The inside is nice and clean and the staff is very nice. Good selection of meat and side options like kimchi and noodles. They also have seafood, but I haven’t really tried it. It’s a nice place to go if you crave kbbq in riverside and don’t want to drive far away. It’s also buffet style which is nice in a way.

Just moved to the area. Wanting some KBBQ, found this gem. They greet right away. Very attentive to our needs. Made sure our cup was always full. The set up is awesome! AYCE. It’s in the center of the restaurant. You grab all the meats you wants and take them back to your table. To top it off, there’s an ice cream machine! I will be back!

Came here for AYCE deal(once for lunch and once for dinner) and I would say for the Riverside area, it’s not horrible. They side dishes are laid out in the middle, so you can select the items that you want and will actually eat. The prices are fairly inexpensive here for a buffet. In terms of the quality of meat, it’s decent. not high quality beef, pork, or chicken but enough to satisfy your Korean food cravings. During the lunch rush, there’s really only 1 or 2 workers, so don’t expect for them to come to your table every 5 minutes to check up on you. If you need your grill replaced, just holler and they’re come and replace it. They have the rice paper wrap which is my favorite! A nice selection of soups and two different kinds of rice options. The interior could use some sprucing but overall I would come back again instead of driving to the OC area when I’m craving K-bbq.

We are regulars here. Friendly staff. They have decent quality of meets and a good selection. They change out the grills frequently so you don’t have to worry about nasty char. More affordable at $ 20 a person than some of the others. Kids are welcome and DONOT pay full price under 11 I believe. Will be back quite often

I love it here! First experience: February 2012 Sunday lunch here with my cousins and auntie and uncle. So over whelmed my cousins kept bringing over meats and sides and I didn’t even get up from our booth. Definitely was worth it. Second time with my boyfriend: January 2016 Visit SoCal with my boyfriend and needed him to experience a legit KBBQ.(not much like KOREANA grill in the bay) Came in around 230 line was to the door but we were seated fast. Headed straight to the meats. Started with the pork and chicken then to the beef. We took our time and I probably went back four times for the cold glass noddle sides. With my boyfriend last experience with kbbq in San Jose I’m glad he put this place at the top of his list. They were able to change our grill once, take some places off our table and refill our drinks is a plus! The place was clean especially around the food area. I know how buffets go when it isn’t kept clean but everything was nice and orderly. Another go to when we/I visit riverside!

I’m not a frequent meat/KBBQ eater, but I’m down for this place! SERVICE: I had a total party of 7 people and we were seated within 5 minutes during rush hour on a Saturday — kudos on the service so far! Throughout the whole night, they walked around a lot to check up on us to refill our water and change our barbecue plate, but didn’t bother us much otherwise which was great. FOOD: It’s great that it’s an all you can eat place b/c typical meats(e.g. pork belly) can get really expensive otherwise. Their bulgogi was seasoned really well and I scarfed a ton down before the night ended! Their sides were standard — I wouldn’t say they blew my mind but they soothed the cravings. My favorite part would be the purple rice they offered(along with white). I do not see purple rice in such a plentiful amount on the daily or at any KBBQ place! A lot of options for your leafy green lovers that were washed really well too. OTHER: Nicely kept place with air vents directly above your grills so you aren’t hot boxing your life away with smoke! It’s ~$ 21 – 25 a person, depending on your drink option. TLDR: Good prices, good food, good service, great ambience. :~)

This is probably the OG Korean barbecue spot in the inland empire(for my friends and I at least). I have been to this place since I was in high school and boy does it look so much better now. They have just finished a major renovation for the interior of the restaurant so now everything looks aesthetically pleasing. It has totally new furniture, wall paint, and floor. Although it isn’t as flashy as Gen kbbq with the décor and«night club» lighting, it is just as nice. As for the food, this korean bbq spot is self serve. Rather than ordering your meats from the waiter(which might take forever sometimes) you can go and grab them for yourself. Aside from that, there are also many other options that you can choose from. Aside from the various korean side dishes(kimchi etc.) this place has other fulfilling options including fried rice/noodles, calamari, veggie tempura, and gyoza. They also have a couple options of sushi to choose from(California, Philadelphia). Depending on which buffet you dine(lunch, dinner) the options of meats will obviously be a little different. They tend to have a lot more seafood items during dinner. As for the quality of the meats, its not great but it also isn’t horrible. The beef brisket is my favorite and they come out semi-frozen at times. Still tastes great tho. The reason I love this place is the fact that it is a SELFSERVE buffet. You don’t have to flag your waiter down to get more rice/rice paper(which might take forever at some places). The owners are also very friendly and welcoming. Do not hesitate to ask them to change out your grill or refill your water or any other food item that has run out. They are quick to do so. Another reason I love this place so much is the price. Being a broke college grad with student loans, I don’t really have much to spend on a good meal. This place won’t break the bank. The lunch buffet is around $ 12.99 and the dinner is about $ 14.99! With the amount of options this place has, the price can’t be beat. After your meal is done, they even have a soft serve yogurt station that conveniently has Styrofoam cups so that you can take it to go! TL;DR — One of the best kbbq spots in the Inland Empire! Many options, great price, and friendly service!

Decent Korean BBQ and has tons of variety in meats and seafood. If you have a hearty appetite this place is your go to. The restaurant stays pretty packed so be prepared to come early or you’ll have to wait a little while to be seated.

Always enjoy this place. Been coming here for close to 10 years. I like that this place is self serve. Food is always fresh. This place is not as smokey as other Korean BBQ places and they seem to have the AC working right. I have been to other BBQ places and sweated because it was 90+ degrees inside.

This place is more like a 3.5 star We came here for brunch which was quite pricey(~$ 20) but we were hungry and the place seemed ok. Brunch is self service. Everything is set up buffet style. Having never been there before(also there were not a lot of people inside at the time) I was a little weary to try a few things like the sushi or grilled whole fish. I had the bulgogi, which was really good and also tried the marinated ribs which were quite delicious. The raw meat is also self serve, I’m not sure that’s the best way to do that but we ate to our hearts content and felt fine. There were so many sides to choose from I don’t even want to get into naming them, everything was pretty good. They also had a soft serve ice cream machine for dessert. Yum! Overall, I would visit here again but not for the brunch price.

I’ve been coming to this place for years. Ever since I was little. Everytime was a pleasant experience, the food was great and the customer service was excellent. I’ve noticed since the recent change in management and the remodel the quality of food and service has gone down significantly. The food tastes old, not fresh. The lettuce is soggy and not crisp like usual, and the kimchi is a disappointment. I am very disappointed on what this place has become.

This place sucks in general. I went here about 3+ years ago, and right off the bat I was treated differently. I walked into the restaurant and the owner at the time, who I believe was the owner, saw me and pointed to where my group of co-workers were. There was no initial, «hi welcome to Koreana», or «please come follow me and i’ll sit you down.» The second problem came with us trying to exchange a used grill for a brand new one. This became a problem because the same guy didn’t want to get us a new grill. He then proceeded to tell me, or yell at me, «why?», as to why he needed to get us a new one. I was in shock and realized maybe this is how he treats certain customers. After all was said and done, he finally replaced the top metal grill with a new one. The third and final problem was with the food. At best the buffet was a measly meh rating, and the food felt cheap and tasted like 3rd world country scrapings. This also included the meat for the grill. The sushi was bad, and the selection I could care less about. For that, I give the food at Koreana a 2⁄5 stars rating. The last part of this review just gets better. As i’m ready to leave Koreana and pay my bill, the last part of the bill stated that I should give a tip to the guy who just served us, the owner. As custom to someone who acts like an ass and is very disrespectful to his customers, I gave him a flat out $ 0.00 tip. To this day I haven’t step foot in this establishment and I never will, god what an awful experience.

It was my first time and it was during lunch time hours, and I was and still am a bit confused. I know you get the meat and grill it but to add vegetables always surprising. But that’s not why they get four stars. The already seasoned meat was ok and so was the squid. That is why they get 4 stars. The meat that wasn’t seasoned was the best and if you add the sauce in the salad bar to it before you put it on the grill you’ll be amazed how it turns out. The meat that is not seasoned are pork and the beef. The pork is flat and square and the beef is kind of the same. If you cook the meat long enough the pork will come out crispy like bacon and taste amazing and the beef comes out like jerky but easy to chew. It was delicious. I wish I started with that instead of the seasoned meat.

5 stars for a clean restaurant –1 star for awful rice paper(for dduk ssam). It is so dry here! –1 star for the pork belly. it wasn’t good. They need to upgrade. +1 star for having galbi ribs(most places don’t offer this cut of meat). The banchan wasn’t special but what to do you expect from AYCE Korean bbq? Focus on their meat and salad bar, and you have a winner. Korean barbecue really brings out the fat child in me. I couldn’t stop inhaling my food. Recipe for awesome brisket(chadol) sauce: (My family learned this from a nice server at a different Korean BBQ restaurant) 1. Grab a soup bowl. 2. Pour brisket sauce in. Add garlic slices. 3. Add a pineapple slice 4. Squeeze in the juice from an orange wedge and lime wedge. Add more to your taste. 5. *** Optional: add red chili or Sriracha sauce if you like it spicy. Use the above recipe and it’s a game changer for korean BBQ.

I’ve lived in Riverside for almost my whole life and I have never tried this place. Koreans and KBBQ veterans be advised, this place is not at the level you would expect out in LA, OC, or GG. However, considering we’re in the IE, I was pleasantly surprised that for $ 20.00/person, they had galbi as a part of their AYCE kbbq buffet. This place is old school korean buffet: you grab a plate and bring everything back to your table. This includes, rice, veggies, meat, and soups. The only thing that the wait staff does for you is change out your grill, bring over drinks, and clear your table of empty plates. Some positive notes: + Variety of korean side dishes like kimchi, japchae, pickled cucumbers, marinated sprouts, seaweed salad, potato salad, and green onion/lettuce salad + spicy tofu and miso soup + rice paper(to make dduk bo sam) + california rolls + soft serve dessert included Some things to consider in order to avoid disappointment: — sushi cart is just really california rolls and some sad looking eel sushi — unmarinated meats, like the brisket(chadol) and pork belly(sam gyup sal), are frozen — mongolian bbq style — and are not recommended — meats are just left out at the«meat station» which is probably not the most sanitary but that’s just how it’s done here — no bell to ring for service at your table, so you have to flag down workers for assistance when they walk past If you are stranded in Riverside and need a kbbq fix, this place is decent enough. It is reminiscent of what you might find in Rowland Heights about 20 years ago. So, like I’ve mentioned, don’t compare quality and service to what you might find if you drive a bit further west.

The food is absolutely amazing! My family and I have been going to this place since we moved here. That’s almost 16 years now. Their food is great, and the service is almost perfect. One time, I accidentally left my retainer in a napkin there, and when we came back to get it… They totally dug through the trash to get it for me. I love this place and if you’re there, request to be served by James. We go there so much, we know him personally. If you’re looking for a great place to eat and you’re in this area, this is most definitely the spot to go. They have really good ice cream as well, who could ask for more?
