I tried the place out because it was one of the only places I hadn’t been to in the University Village. This place advertises authentic Szechuan cuisine. The deep fried green onion shrimp was alright, and tasted pretty light. A good contrast if you order a red meat dish as well. We got the beef with pickled pepper, which was really good and juicy except there was an overabundance of spicy peppers, which we couldn’t eat as it was so spicy and sour. More beef and fewer peppers would be better, or a different beef dish. We also got string beans, which were very standard and decent for a Chinese restaurant. I would come back again if I want to eat more authentic Chinese food with friends. Just don’t forget to order rice as well!

This place is boooomb. The food is so good and the portions are generous. I had the combo fried rice, spicy stick lamb, and some beef stew that I can’t remember the name of. Everything was delicious. As for the service, top notch! The guy asked if we needed help with the menu, and he suggested a few things based on what we told him. The prices are okay for the quality and quantity of food. I will def be back.

I came here one Monday afternoon with my friend. The waiter was friendly and left a huge canister of water for the both of us. Me and my friend ordered the steamed chicken lamb skewer and fish soup. *note they’re all spicy* all of these dishes are amazing. The taste and spices are great and it leaves a spicy aftertaste in your mouth. The fish soup goes extremely well with rice, and the skewers are a great appetizer. I’m at the point where I want to eat more, but I can’t handle the spicy. Don’t make the same mistake as us, order something non spicy as well. My rice is contaminated with the spicy sauce too, which means I have no way to get it out of my mouth. So I’m taking a break to write this review. Would definitely recommend.

The food here is always fantastic and the staff is highly accommodating. Get the stick lamb, you won’t regret it! Beware, it’s spicy!

I am telling you as an authentic Szechuanese and UCR alumni, the food is so bomb here!!! my favorite Spicy Chinese food place. My personal recommendation is to try the Dan-dan noodle, great flavor! Need some improvement with the service though: p

Quantity is not even close to the price you are paying for. Small portions for $ 8+ Service is lackluster as you either need to go to the counter to pay and ask for more things or wave your hand up in the air and leave it there for a while. Quality of food mirrors that of other Asian places around Riverside which is sub-par. Come here if you have small stomachs and hefty wallets.

This place is amazing. Every time I go there, the food is per-fect. It’s fresh, it’s authentic, it’s heart-warming. And I personally love the service. If you’re in the mood for something spicy, original and delicious, this is the place to go.

This is absolutely the best Chinese Szechuan spicy food in Riverside area if you are looking for orthodox REAL Chinese cuisine. I highly recommend Kongpao Chicken and tooth pick lamb. I went to other Taiwanese restaurants in the same plaza several times and I know they cook Kongpao chicken with instant ready-to-eat materials and seasonings which tastes kinda like eating fast food. But Firce not. What they offer has exactly the same amazing flavor that I had back in China. For the tooth pick lamb, I actually think they offer the best lamb in that area. The tooth pick lamb is just fine seasoned, and just well fried, it’s important not to over-fried because the lamb would be dry and tasteless. I’ve tasted every restaurant in the plaza and I think Frice is really great. kongpao chicken, a tooth pick lamb, plus a side of steamed rice, I got my day there.

This place is extremely well put together. The costumer service isn’t that great but the food makes up for that. Best Chinese Food I had in a long time! I will be coming here again but next I will make show to where a cocktail dress!
