Update — 1 month later & still trying to deal with this horrible haircut. I decided this review was not fair to all the stylist at this salon & because of this I will say that I did not like the cut, that Addy gave me. Nice lady, but my hair looks like she cut it w/​a dull kitchen scissor. It is so chopped, so uneven that I am going to give it another month to grow and then go back to my previous salon and hopefully they will be able to do something with it!

I was referred to Faye a few years ago by my sister-​in-​law. It’s very difficult to change hair stylists. I have been very happy with Faye. She is on time, which is a big deal for me. Her staff is always courteous and warm. I am very happy with my hair.

I have been going to Faye for two years now before she opened her own salon up, and never let anyone else touch my hair again! She has brought my hair back to life since the first time she’s worked her magic on me. I used to have long, dead-​splint ends, boxed-​colored hair and once I started going to her, she fixed my hair up! It takes a few sessions if you’re trying to blonde up your hair, but the patience and process is so worth it. She is pretty pricey but worth all your money! She uses the best hair products ever and once you start using the Unite products, you will never go back to anything else again. She makes you feel comfortable and welcomed and is always so kind. She knows exactly what she is doing. Her and her staff are great! I always leave the salon feeling like a million bucks, especially when my hair smells amazing AND looks amazing. I highly recommend her, but make an appt. even though walk-​ins are available, but an appt. makes things easier. The process takes a while depending on what you’re getting done, so I suggest you come when you’re off.

I cannot say enough nice things about this salon. After having my second baby I realized I desperately needed my hair cut. I called to see if they had anything available and the fit me in only a couple of hours. I had to bring my newborn with me and they were so accommodating. They even let me take a break to nurse my son. My haircut was exactly what I wanted and it looks great! I will not go anywhere else from now on.

I’ve been coming to Faye since 2003, and I love everything with my hair. She’s the best hair stylist ever. With Faye, you definitely get what you pay for. Thanks Faye for making my hair look so fabulous.

I was so nervous about someone touching my hair and having a bad experience that I couldn’t force myself to go to a salon. One day I decided to walk into this salon and I immediately felt so comfortable! I explained to Faye (the owner) what I wanted and we set an appointment! I got there 1 week later still nervous but trusting in Faye to do a great job. I got a cut and hair color done and I looked amazing. I felt so beautiful. My hair felt so silky and FINALLY I said to myself someone I can trust. So yes I recommend this salon 100% :D

Love this place I been coming to Faye Tanijan, for a long time and what I can say is that she is WONDERFUL, I will defiantly recommend her to everyone. And I can’t go with out saying that her assistant Yvonne she is awesome, she rocks…

Great salon, Melissa has done my hair for years and is now at faye and will be going to see her there. Very talented stylist and great pr skills, very knowledgeable.

I came in today for deep conditioning treatment and had great service. The stylist I had was Addy, and she really went above and beyond in the customer service. I’m also a stylist, and loved the service I received. I needed a treatment in my hair because I was way too lazy to go to cosmoprof and get a conditioning treatment myself. Also, I always change my hair color so it gets famed and ports. So glad I stopped in to take advantage of a getting pampered myself.

My 4 year old and I come here and always leave happy! They also carry amazing products. I recommend Faye or Addy but all the girls are super sweet and professional!

Brittany is the best! She always listens really well, takes her time and makes me feel super confident about my hair. The salon is clean and really well kept. The other stylists in the salon greet people when they arrive and ensures everyone is taken care of. The owner, Faye, makes it a point to come by each chair to see how the stylists are doing. The Unite products are one of a kind. I would definitely recommend Faye Salon for cut, color and styles!

Faye is the absolute best at doing hair! My color and cut is always perfect when I leave. Also, she is such a sweet and wonderful person! I love this salon! Wouldn’t go anywhere else. I definately recommend her to anyone looking for a stunning, beautiful look!!! Be sure to purchase the 7 seconds and Argan oil by Unite. Saved my hair!

Took my son in for a haircut, but came out very disappointed. The lady messed up his hair and she left patches of hair on his head. It was also pricey for a little boys haircut. Not returning back again!

I’ve been going to Faye ever since she started @ Carlton’s in the Tyler Mall. She is the ONLY person who can cut and style my curly hair.
Her ease of cutting, varied techniques, and amazing knowledge of up to date styles, products and color have kept me coming back to her where ever she has moved to.
I myself moved 1 hr away and still went to her. Thankfully I moved back and her new Salon is right down the street!
I’ve recommended her to numerous friends who are so happy.

When my son was four months I was planning for his first hair cut. I wanted his first cut to be a memorable and enjoyable one. A friend recommended Faye’s salon in Riverside and had nothing but great things to say about her. Fast forward nine months later and four hair cut later, Faye salon is the only place for my boy. Always an amazing hair cut and my son just loves her. He never moves when he is in the chair and always smiles when she is finish. I think he has a little crush on her. I rarely ever give reviews for places other than a restaurant. For Faye she is definitely a cut above the rest.

I would strongly recommend this Salon. The salon is pleasant and accommodating as soon you step in the place. My Stylist, Veronica, is top notch. She takes the time to ask what it is you would like and provides honest feedback. I first came to Veronica when she was working at another salon. My hair was chemically damaged by a stylist of which I was once a frequent customer of at a salon in the city of Redlands. I came to Veronica as a «walk in» client. She took a look at my chemically damaged hair and said she couldn’t high light my hair due to the damage. Right away, I respected her honesty and respected that I just wasn’t another new client she could collect a service for just because I asked for high lights when my hair definitely couldn’t handle any additional chemical treatment. I have been a loyal client of Veronica’s and Veronica has never failed me. My hair is healthy again, it has taken almost a year and Veronica worked with me the entire time. Veronica is great at color, cuts and Brazilian blow outs. She takes her time with you. I followed her from the salon she previously worked at to Faye Salon, which I love. Everyone is very nice. Don’t miss out on great customer service and quality hair care!

I’ve been a client of Tammee Murray for over 10 years. She does my facials and eyelashes. Every where I go, I receive complements on both my skin and eyelashes. People can’t get over how natural my eyelashes look. She’s not only knowledgable, professional but very personable. I highly recommend her to my friends, family and acquaintances.

I came by this salon today because a girlfriend of mine said she got her hair done here b4 and I liked how her hair turned out, so I came in to make an appointment and the salon was closed? The hours on the window said that they close at 6. I came by way b4 6. Why post up hours if the salon will be closed at whenever they choose to leave. Maybe I’ll come by another time, but I doubt it.

This is the best haircut I’ve ever had! The staff at Faye Salon was engaging, helpful, and really great to talk to. Faye, the manager, was very friendly, and I had my hair cut by Crystal who did a great job on the cut. She knew what she was doing and she helped me get exactly what I wanted while adapting to my hair and what I wanted to do with it. At the time of this review, the salon is just now opening, so the place doesn’t seem that nice yet, but the service and quality is phenomenal! I’ll definitely be a regular customer.
