Dollar Tree

Called in to ask a simple question this morning and someone wasn’t happy to have a job and be at work — rude with an attitude. Time for customer service training Dollar Tree!

As I began to purchase items I realized I was being given very rude looks by a cashier named Mariel and a male customer. I tried ignoring the ignorance but it was just too bold and disrespectful. I asked what was the problem and both of them began to laugh AT me. Then the male customer began to speak in a foreign language then both looked over at me and laughed while both rolled their eyes at me. I asked to speak to Mariel’s supervisor, which she was pleased to call her over as if her behavior was acceptable. I have never seen Mariel there before because I was a frequent customer at this Dollar Tree. My experiences had been rather pleasant before. I asked was I being treated poorly because of my race but I never received an answer from Mariel or her male friend but they obviously found the question amusing. I say friend because it was obvious he was outside waiting for Mariel. Mariel and her male friend even acted disrespectfully in front of her supervisor.

If you want really cheap stuff that cost way less than the dollar you pay for it, this is the place to go.

I needed patriotic balloons for the 4^th of July weekend. I called to check on the availability and Cindy was so helpful and pleasant. She located exactly what I needed and placed it on hold for me. I arrived at about 8pm and she had everything ready for me. In person she was just as pleasant and friendly. This young lady should be their employee of the month. Superstar job Cindy. You truly made my experience a 10 plus. I’m a manager at a mattress store and share your passion for customer satisfaction. I will be using this location for all my balloons and supplies. Thank you again!

I’ve been going there for years! I love going down each aisle. Upon checkout I’m amazed when the clerk lets me know my full basket comes out to only $ 15!

Always will go to this dollar tree, my daughter made friends with employees. They are very friendly & helpful. Always got new things & hey it’s a only a dollar or clearance stuff is less. I prefer going to dollar over 99 cents. Best place to get balloons at also, always got new cool items that I find at toyrus or target but here it’s pretty cool cause only $ 1. Love it

Clean and well organized. Good selection and decent quality items for a buck. Not much more to add, it’s a dollar store.

I miss this Dollar Tree. They have a small frozen food section in the back. The lines can be pretty long, but they have a lot of items and the aisles are organized. Plus, they have mylar balloons with helium for $ 1. I love the arts and crafts section, and their cleaning supplies. I agree that it isn’t the easiest parking lot to maneuver, but you can use the Target entrance/​exit if you want to make a left in or out of the parking lot.

Hey, for a «dollar» store, this isn’t half bad. The store is in a decent area, fairly clean, and very organized. I found lots of stuff and was happy I stopped here.

I prefer Dollar Tree over 99 cents Only hands down! Although, I do prefer the Corona store to the one on Tyler in Riverside. I feel the Tyler store is not laid out very effectively and it always looks a little cluttered and messy.
Still, it’s super convenient when you are out running errands in the Mall area; I went there several times around Christmas and was satisfied with my experience each time. I feel their selection is not as good at the Corona store, however it may just be that this one gets a higher volume of customer per day. Which is a good sign.

Not easy to get to, dark parking lot at night. Standard available items and also a food refrigerated section.
