Great service, friendly and good portion sizes. The macaroons were a delight after filling up on tomago, spicy edamame, samari roll, spicy tuna, scallops, tempura and much more.

My wife and I had a very well prepared dinner. The food was visually appealing and well prepared. The servers were extremely attentive to us making sure everything was what we expected. We well definitely return. I did advise them there website has to be updated since they no longer have all you can eat.

Love love love this place! The fish is so fresh and yummy! Manager Mike is fun and makes us feel welcome every time! I have had their lunch menu which was 3 separate items under $ 10 bucks and healthy! And for dinner last week I had the volcano roll! It came out in lite on fire and was freakin amazing! Yum!!!

2 Stars at best… So disappointed. Never should have changed the menu or management. They skimped on the fish $ 11 for a spicy salmon with 1 lil piece of salmon… The teriyaki chicken is all dark/fat meat. Not good! What happened!!! Will not be returning

Quite a gem in the area. Starting from the knowledgeable and friendly staff who knows the menu well. We loved the sashimi and the crunchy salmon with crab and shrimp(Custom made specifically based on my sister in law’s preferred fish). We did not fancy the volcano roll that much but it had a very eye catching presentation. Miso soup is made from scratch not the watered down version I sometimes encountered and put away. Same goes to the green tea. Must try the macorons made from ingridients shipped from Belgium. When it was recommended, I was doubtful given I had tried macarons in Paris and London. But it did live up to the European standard and not those dry or overly sugary failed copy cats. Owner was very friendly and took the volcano roll off our bill without us asking. It just did not match our taste buds. Nothing wrong with the dish. So overall a lovely place to go whether you are exoloring or a sushi lover.

Definitely a hidden gem. We are usually real skeptical of new sushi places but there always has to be a first time. We will be back for sure. Quality of fish is amazing. We started out wish salmon sushi that was buttery and so tender. Then we followed up with 3 amazing rolls. So unique I’ve never had these combinations anywhere else. We finished with some of the best macaroons we have both ever had. The sushi chef was fun and the server was very nice. I decided to take a risk and take my honey here for Valentine’s Day and we did not regret it one bit.

The food was amazing, I had the Philadelphia Roll and the Crunchy Roll. The service here is second to none, they made me feel important and frequently checked to see how I was enjoying my food and experience. I will be back again and again… if you’re in the mood for sushi, this is the spot.

My husband and I had tried this place after they first opened, the portions where small, the salmon was fishy, and they were over priced. Today we tried them again because we had heard that they had a new chef. Again I was not impressed. The place was teeny tiny, they no longer offer AYCE, they are still over priced, it was dead as in we were the only ones in the restaurant, and it still took forever for us to get our food. Needless to say we will either go to Sushi Station or Asahi next time we want sushi

No more AYCE. Menu is very sparse. I took a friend because of the great sushi and service. Granted, there was a winter formal party coming in, and wait staff was focused on that. We had to wait 30minutes for the first course of our«omkase» meal. Need more chefs to keep things rolling.

What is the story behind the new management and staff??? The new menu is super short and lacks depth.

We always go for their AYCE, and we love it. Asahi use to be our place to go, but I always thought their sushi was too saucy. Here the sushi isn’t heavily covered with sauces; in fact, it’s right to the point. Great service. It is a tidy spot, but it’s comfortable. Shrimp shrimp roll is delicious, along with the baked lobster roll. Chefs never fail to greet you, which is nice. It definitely fulfills sushi cravings. I would highly recommend trying this place :)

I thought this place was pretty good. It’s a small sushi restaurant with the same good sushi and rolls that you will find at Asahi. I would suggest this place as an alternative if Asahi is too busy. The servers were friendly and checked up on us occasionally. Like Asahi and Sushi One Spot, the AYCE is three rounds. Order conversely and you’ll make it to all three rounds! If not, you’ll probably crash and burn on round two like many of my sushi experiences lol. I liked the rolls here, I usually order anything that sounds tasty at sushi restaurants and Amagi Sushi didn’t disappoint. Not a bad spot to fill up your sushi cravings, give them a try!

My wife and I were in the mood for sushi one night and decided to try someplace new. We love sushi and are sushi enthusiasts. This place is a small restaurant nestled in a strip mall on the corner of Troutwein and Van Buren in Riverside. When we walked in we were greeted by the friendly staff and were seated right away as it was fairly empty. We ordered our drinks and then decided on what we wanted to eat. I chose the all you can eat program. Its not very often that I leave a sushi place feeling sick but I Did experience that here. I started with Sushi which was a little warmer than usual and the fish wasn’t melt in your mouth like I have experienced at the better sushi places. I then moved on to some rolls and they were awful. The rolls were smothered in Mayo which was really disgusting. The right was also not as fresh as I like and the imitation crab was gross. When I left In really had to battle with my stomach to keep the food down which isn’t the way I like to complete a meal. In summary, we will pass on this place and go back to the places we love instead.

I came here because I had a Groupon deal. Its a small restaurant that wasn’t too busy around 12pm in the afternoon. Service on the sushi was a tad slow, despite the fact they had 4 chefs. Hrmmmm. On the other hand, the waitress was kind and attentive. The food is just okay. I prefer to go to Asahi than here. The presentation of the food is nice though! They tend to give more rice on the sashimi compared to other places :(.

We ordered to go, so I can’t say what the experience is like on the inside. All I can tell you about is he sushi… Alaska roll is stated as salmon on a California roll. What really came was a California roll which consisted primarily of rice with some imitation crab inside, then topped with avocado and salmon. On top of the salmon, which is supposed to be raw, were individual slices of lemon. This tells me that the fish was not fresh enough to survive without being cooked or the bacteria killed with citrus. I know the sushi tricks. The salmon skin hand roll was fine but the quality of salmon just didn’t taste right. It was also extremely soggy. All it had was soggy salmon skin, rice, and sauce. No cucumber, no avocado, nothing else.

We have been here twice now and I can only think of one other sushi place that I would prefer over this, because of the offering of unique rolls. This place was fresh and the rolls were good. I like that they have a lot of things I don’t usually get at my lesser expensive sushi place down the road about 10 miles. It is nice and quiet, which is also something you cannot get at another sushi place down the road about 7 miles or so. lol This was a great place for dinner. The service was perfect both times we came. One thing that kinda annoys me now that I have eaten a lot of sushi. If it is ready at the same time, why not put a few rolls on one plate? It just saves room on the table and water washing dishes. My favorite place in another city does this and I really liked it. It also makes me feel like less of a pig when all of those plates hit the table. Well, there are three of us eating. Anyway, great place and I hope they stay in business for decades. Welcome to the neighborhood! Please keep adding things to your«AYCE» It’s disappointing to get the same offerings over and over(and you took some away instead)

Visited the grandparents and they decided to take us out to Amagi for dinner. I usually don’t do AYCE sushi restaurants cause they tend to use cheap quality cuts of fish. Amagi surprise me this place wasn’t that bad at all. I was surprise how the fresh the fish were and the cuts was reasonable. Their service friendly and professional. Yellowtail nigiri was fresh and just melts in your mouth. Albacore nigiri was just very fatty yum. Crazy Carrot Roll was something I haven’t seen before, but it was good. Great presentation. Their Stinky Roll wasn’t stinky, but fantastic. Their Sweet Shrimp was delish nice and sweet.(FRESH) Uni nigiri I was hesitant to order this because AYCE, but it was good and(fresh) Hamachi Kama I was one of the biggest I had seen, and for $ 9.95 will worth it. Overall had a wonderful dinner with the grandparents.
