We order lunch from here about 3 times a week and have never had a complaint. Good quality American food!

You gotta love these hole in the wall places that have lasted generations! Dumms corner store has been here since forever. Always give outstanding service every time we order. The food is amazing and not expensive. The best option for pizza delivery around here! Way to go Dumms!!! Hopefully your around for the next generation to experience the wonders of your food!

Dumm’s is the best pizza in the immediate area. One of my favorite parts is that the crust is not too thin, not too thick. The sauce has good flavor, too! And they say Maryland can’t do pizza. Send those non-believers to Dumm’s. I had previously ordered from Dumm’s delivery, and that time we also got an order of Crab dip. Skip that, not very good, and possibly not at all fresh. And my second time at Dumm’s, we called ahead, but arrived super early for pick up, so we grabbed a beer and a hard soda, to sip as we waited 10 – 15 minutes. The girl behind the counter, who also takes the phone orders was super nice, and apologized that our food wasn’t ready even though we were so early. There is room enough for about 4 tight tables to fit in there, and a few wall mounted tv’s to watch news or sports while you wait. As long as I’m living nearby, Dumm’s will be my go-to.

Simply the best pizza around. Trust me, I’ve tried them all. It’s a neighborhood spot, not a big chain. You can tell they actually care whether they’re feeding you cardboard. Not a lot of eat-in space, which is fine because delivery is good. Grateful to have these guys around.

This place is just perfect for a quick lunch or dinner . Great food, try the gyro and ruben.

Found out that we live right down the street from this place. So our first time in we tried the custom pizza-all vegetables and it was great! Had everything on it and more! Definitely want to try some of their other pizzas! Went back just a few days ago and got the steak and cheese while my boyfriend got the chicken gyro. I really enjoyed my steak and cheese! I’ll definitely go back for another one! My boyfriend however didn’t like the chicken so much in the gyro. He said it was a bit favor less and chewy so he thinks maybe next time he’ll just try the regular gyro or get one of their subs! Still an amazing hole in the wall place where everyone knows each other that I would recommend!

Absolutely amazing pizza at an affordable price. Add that to the fact that their medium is actually a 14″ and you realize its really hard to go wrong…

For a quick to go lunch the staff is super friendly and for a tiny spot a HUGE menu. It is not a spot to go on a date or dress up to. It’s a take out spot which has seating if you want to dine in. Also: off track horse racing and keno. Haha.

I haven’t eaten at Dumm’s since ’98 or so. I use to eat there all the time because it was free! I worked there for a year or so while going to UMCP. I still wonder why so many sub shops can’t get it right but then, I guess I have high standards when comparing them to Dumm’s. Dumm’s MOVES lunches. I learned how to spin delicious pizzas, run a busy grill, and expedite fresh hogies, and deal with people. I cleaned and cleaned and cleaned. That place was a real neighborhood meeting place. «What’ll ya have? Bud, or Light?» That may have been the most useful job that I have ever had. Thanks for teaching me how to focus Georgia and Mike. Many years latter I am a Corporate Pilot. I fly all the hell over the place and rate sub shops on a «Dumm’s Scale». Most of them fall short. –Ed Walker

Have been eating here for some time now… The food is always on point, the Pizza is the flagship of the place IMO! Dumms has a kind of old school diner feel to it, no skimping on the food at all! Will continue to eat here for many more years to come.

Ordered a pizza for carryout, said it would be about 25 minutes. 30 minutes later I came in and waited another 30 minutes. Strange vibe in the restaurant. A lot of not-so-clean looking people in there. Also X-Large cheese pizza was supposed to be ~11.99 but they charged me $ 15 for it. What? Pizza was pretty mediocre in my opinion. I didn’t like their sauce and the crust was tasteless. I get better pizza at the dining hall on campus. I can’t account for anything else on the menu, but the pizza, the service, and experience in general was below average.

I LOVEDUMM’S! Dumm’s makes you feel like you’re in small-town USA — lots of quirky regulars, local police and cheap, simple, appetizing American food. Best cheesesteak I’ve found around Washington, starting with a delicious, warm & slightly-crunchy sub roll to the quality and generous filling. The specials are bargains — love the seasoned pork chops with REAL mashed potatoes, gravy and coleslaw. If you’ve got a good appetite, you’ll want to get a double order but for $ 14, you will feel well-fed. Fresh iced tea, sweet and unsweetened, is another favorite. Georgia will even mix the 2 if you ask nicely.

This pizza place is amazing. Just as a neighborhood pizza place should be. We don’t technically live in the neighborhood, but this is our go-to pizza place. The Dumm’s special is great, we usually get anchovies on the side though. I would recommend that you go in to pick up your pizza. While you wait, you can have a beer at one of the three or so tables there, and talk to the locals. They’re super friendly and welcoming once you break the ice. Maybe that first beer will help with the ice-breaking part. Liquid courage and all. I would also highly recommend their wings. They put the sauce on the side so your wings don’t get soggy while you take them home. As a side note, they have tasty cakes! A whole display of them! Yum!

I’m elated to have a ‘new to me’ neighborhood pizza joint. My wife and I ordered an XL pizza with feta cheese instead of mozzarella — which was delicious. The staff seems friendly and we like to support local, family-run establishments. With the newly-finished bike trail that run parallel to the railroad, it’s also an easy 10 min. walk for people that live to the south in Hyattsville Arts District.

Although I love the food from Dumm’s, I have to rate this place with 2 stars. The customer service is the absolute worst! I’m not sure if the guy is the owner & his wife that actually run the place, but the both of them are very rude individuals. The guy working on the grill that works part time is always pleasant though! I have gotten food numerous times & walked in without being greeted, stared at, then asked«what do you want?» I’ve tried the steak & cheese sub, cheeseburger sub, pepperoni pizza, & grilled chicken salad; all were great. But the service just really makes me feel unwelcome. I even had to repeat my thank you loudly to the owner after receiving my food because he ignored me the first 3 times that I said thank you & decided not to respond. I don’t think I’ll be ordering from here anymore, unless I’m dealing with the part timer that they have helping out.

When it’s time to order food, it’s time to order from Dumm’s. I also love ZZ Pizza, but the wait is always over an hour and they are often out of menu items. Dumm’s pizza is delicious– better than ZZ’s. Whenever I need comfort food Dumm’s is there with sketti and meatballs. I highly recommend giving them a try.

This place is better than most chains. Not good, not great. Called for a lunch delivery and the lady who took my order over the phone wasn’t very pleasant. The delivery driver that showed up was really nice even though he got a little lost trying to make the delivery. I ordered a plain cheese pizza and a pepperoni pizza. The tossed salad was boring but I didn’t expect much. I wouldn’t go out of my way for this place but would probably order delivery again if I was in the College Park area.

I love their pizza!!! And half price pizza Mondays are my everything for this girl on an el cheapo budget! Their pizza sauce is great. Clearly homemade, often times having a hint of wine taste(maybe its just me). Its a dive for sure but their pizza is quality. I haven’t tried their other food options.

This is a great hole in the wall spot! Fast, huge portions, and just good flavorful food! I had the mozzarella sticks(to die for), my coworker had a steak and cheese, potatoe salad, and fries(in her defense she was pregnant at the time) and I had a chicken sub with chips. : drools on keyboard just thinking about it: It was sooooooooo good!!! It’s a great little small spot that feeds you well. I also had a half and half — mmmmmmmmm!!! Looking forward to going back!
