AMAZING! We go for the Friday or Saturday all you can eat! It’s the best Indian food around!

Love this place!!! The buffet is ok, but their real specialties are the entrees. Delicious chicken tikka masala and naan is light and airy. Absolutely amazing!!!

We had the dinner buffet and everything we tried was delicious. Good vegetarian choices, don’t forget to try the mango chutney and hot sauce that is located near the salad bar area, really kicks the meal up a notch. I can’t wait to go back.

Having come from Logan, my husband and I were desperate for a good Indian restaurant. We liked Taste of India in Layton but my husband and I wanted something closer to home. This was a good choice. The naan is good and I recommend the lamb masala. The staff, however, always seems to want to rush us out even if we’re the only table. The Parisian in me doesn’t like that.

I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this restaurant. The waitress was great and very helpful. It might not be the most authentic as some other reviews say, but it wasn’t anything short of amazing for me and my date. Definitely go when they are not busy though, it seems to get cramped in the later hours.

I enjoyed the lunch buffet. The tastes are like that of other authentic Indian foods I’ve tasted throughout Utah. If your taste buds seek Indian foods this is the place to go if your in the Ogden area. They have coke products and some select Utah micro brews and other beers. However the drinks are not part of the buffet we were told. When all was said and done our bill was about ten dollars a person with the drinks. Loved it give it a shot. In response to one of the reviews I read… As for the holes in the walls bad paint and broken candles and cleaning supplies… we saw none of that and the environment seems clean and relaxed. They were very attentive and kept our glasses full… full drinks are a pet peeve of mine. I felt satisfied of there service’s and intend to come back again.

Authentic Indian; tastes superb! I’ve tried many different curries with different proteins, all delicious! I highly recommend them for taste. As for service, they could pay better attention to details. I have ordered swordfish and been served shrimp instead. Rather than offer to correct their mistake, they offered a discount on the shrimp. They have also slacked on attendance to drinks, often forgetting that a drink has been ordered and require reminding. Taste: excellent. Service: not perfect, kind Indian family. Atmosphere: clean, well kept, nice ambiance. Local restaurant; not a chain.

Decent food, it’s hard to find good Indian in the Ogden area. It was way too greasy for my taste but I’ll probably be back because of convince.

Went to the lunch buffet today. First thing I noticed were the holes in the wall inside and the battered paint job. There were also cheap, broken candles sitting around. Cleaning supplies sitting on one of the tables the whole time we were there did nothing to add to the«ambiance.» Beer menu taped to the table was also tacky. Post it notes denote what things are on the buffet. As for food I’m only going to rate the buffet since that’s all we had. There were three chicken dishes, rice, potatoes, a vegetable dish, a chick pea concoction, some tempura type vegetables and a small salad buffet with some naan under a heat lamp. I’m not going to say the food was bad. It was decent but just not a lot of selection. The most disappointing part is that most of the limited items were nearly gone. We went up and were literally scraping the sides of the dishes to get some. It was frustrating when we would watch the staff in back come out, look at it, and never re-fill it once. The salad bar is basically lettuce. A few small items to add to it. The dressing… one type and it’s labeled… salad dressing. If and this is a big IF… If I ever went back, I would not do the buffet. It was just not worth nine bucks. There are lots of improvements that can be made at Bombay Bites.

One of the pluses is that they make sure it’s easy to have nice drinks with your lovely Indian food. OUt of state beers are under $ 3.00 which is just great… then they don’t mind also if you bring in your own bottle of wine, so they’ll serve you glasses and opener, no corkage fee. You should tip well because the Vietnamese woman working here is so cute and gives great service.

Great food! I’ve had tons of Indian food and this place is good. The buffet is reminiscent of many of the Mom and Pop places we used to go to in Dallas. All the things I have tried are great! I don’t give five stars because I just don’t give those out unless the whole experience is out of this world. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone!

If you order spicy, it is Spicy! I order the lamb curry spicy. I like hot and this didn’t let me down. Had an Indian Pale Ale to wash it down. Service was a little slow, but worth the wait. Location is hidden, but I know where it is, so I will return.

This place is delicious. This IS the best Indian restaurant in the Ogden area hands down. Believe me I’ve tried them all. We will be back again and again.

I’m giving two stars, one for the service, and the other for the atmosphere which were both great considering its building(strip mall type). The tables and curtains were very nice, and we were attended to promptly and kindly. The food on the other hand doesn’t get any stars from me, but would get a half if I could. What we ordered: Chicken Tikka Masala /Spice level between medium and hot Chicken Coconut Korma /Spice level between medium and hot Garlic basil naan A little background on me. I love Indian food and know not to judge a dish by its color. Therefore, when the tikka masala came out, I thought to myself, «Wow, that’s awfully bright and runny, but maybe it tastes good.» The coconut korma looked much better, thick and not bright. My partner said, «This tastes weird. I can’t figure out what it is, but it’s like tomato soup.» I first tried the tikka masala and it was lacking flavor, a lot of it; I wasn’t impressed. It also reminded me of tomato soup or Spaghettios, like something out of a jar and not homemade, a bit too sweet. It was also not spicy as I hoped for. Then I tried the coconut korma. As mentioned, it was a bit thicker and did have more flavor as well as more spice. Some of the chicken in this dish was not tender, and other pieces were a fatty. This dish was better than the tikka masala, but definitely not what I hoped for. The rice. The portion brought out was not generous, but I was given more to take with my leftovers. I had hoped it would taste better the next day, but that wasn’t true. I did see a few cumin seeds in the rice, but it didn’t have much flavor. It was very basic basmati. The naan… it was good. I liked the amount of garlic it had and the thinly sliced pieces of it. It was so evenly distributed between the layers, that it seemed like something mass made in a factory. The edges of the naan were nice and crispy. To sum this up, I’m glad I had a Groupon, because I would not like to pay full price for this place. I can, and have, made better Indian food at home from a recipe book, but it’s always nice to go out. My favorite Indian restaurants are Bombay House in SLC and India House in Sandy. There are others, and some I haven’t tried, but do yourself a favor and try others after you’ve been here so you can compare and find YOUR favorite!

Alright. I love the food! The chicken is just killer good. I’m not a huge fan of chicken but if it’s from here then I’ll eat every single piece they give me. The best part was that they ask if you want it mild or spicy and I actually got what I asked for, mild. The flavor was amazing even though it didn’t have«traditional spiciness» people say it needs to be good; this stuff was awesome! If your a fan of chicken and unique flavor you need to eat here! Finally what blew me away was how fresh it was, you have the option to eat at the buffet or order off the menu, I recommend the menu cause you get it HOT!

We went to Bombay Bites and we were one of two groups in the entire restaurant; however, service was very slow. I generally have slow service at Indian restaurants, but this was VERYVERY slow. The food was great though — very flavorful! We weren’t big fans of the chicken tandorri, but we loved all the curry dishes we tried. Their chicken tikka masala was our favorite.

If your looking for solidly spicy Indian food, the kind of spice that has your nose running and face flushed, than this is the place for you. Of course they also make all their dishes in a mild version too. I’m a big lamb sag fan and theirs was great! Combined with their Nan and rice(which was also incredibly flavorful) it reminded me of my time in Hyderabad India… So I know what great Indian food should taste like. Service was good and plenty of seating makes this a great place to go to enjoy something different tonight.

To be honest, this was my first time trying Indian food. I had it a week ago for the first time, and I begged my boyfriend to take me back tomorrow. We got the lunch buffet, mostly consisting of chicken dishes, but according to bf, that is pretty typical for Indian buffets at lunch. The waitress said that for the dinner buffet, they also serve lamb. The service was pretty good considering there were multiple tables full and only one waitress. My only complaint is that they kept running out of rice.

Good Indian food at reasonable prices. I’ve only had the lunch buffet so far, and did it for take away. The choices were good and everything was very very tasty. They were out of naan when I went to get it last, and the waitress already noticed and had more coming on the way. She got me some foil to wrap it up in and I was very pleased with how everything tasted. The restaurant itself is an old hogi yogi in a strip mall that’s been decently converted, but I noticed at the bar area there was one of those loud floor drying fans on the counter blowing, weird. Parking is good and easy, will definitely go back to try the sit down and dine in atmosphere. Compared to higher priced local Indian cuisine I would recommend you try this first. I’ve spent more than double at other places, and couldn’t tell a difference in quality or taste.
