Much neater than the one in Melrose Park, with a better parking lot. Of course I use the word «neat» loosely here. Neat by outlet store standards, of course. Unless you shop at the Bentley of outlet stores, if there’s a such thing. I digress.
For those that don’t know, AJ Wright is a chain of retail/​outlet stores, and the sister company of TJ Maxx. Since AJ Wright has come into my world, I’ve stopped over-​paying for my ghetto fabulous clothes from stores like Carson Pierre Scott. For that, I’m oh-​so-​thankful. Now, I wear their and other stores reject items which I purchase for half, or sometimes less than half the price. So take that, life!
Although they sell clothes for most occasions, AJ Wright is ideal for work clothes, or any other clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Perhaps for working out, spray painting graffiti on your neighbors garage, or a pie eating contest. Whatever the case, most of the items are popular name brands. I purchased a Majestic Cincinnati Reds Ken Griffey Jr. T-​shirt for $ 3.99. Sure Griffey is old, bad, and not on the Reds anymore. But who cares? I will mostly like just wear it to work anyway. And it’s less boring than a plain, logoless shirt.
Although the one in Melrose is closer to my work, this store in River Grove has more perks. I will most likely stick to this one from now on.

AJ Wright is a hidden gem. I’ve been to probably every one of them. Yes, it’s a little annoying. Some of the people who shop there are a little annoying. However, this one on Belmont is one of the better ones. I was inspired by our favorite fashionista Sarah Jessica Parker and was in the mood for some gladiator heels. I went to this one on the way home from work and found FOUR kick arse pairs! They are really some cool shoes and each pair was either $ 14.99 or $ 19.99. When I wear these shoes, I feel like such a celebrity… seriously. It’s kind of hit or miss. Admittedly, they have a lot of junior type hip hop stuff that is cute if you are 14 and starring in your own music video. Or, if you are, like, Averil Lavign or however the fluck you spell it. But if you want to find some divalicious deals and don’t mind sorting patiently, it’s a pretty cool place!
