I’m not a huge fan of chain pizza joints, but a friend suggested the salad bar for lunch, so I gave it a try. I have to say I am very impressed with the selection they have, in a town that is sorely lacking in salad bars. The employees were friendly and seemed to do a good job keeping things stocked. They had about five types of pizzas and some bread sticks, and they kept that side restocked as well — even when one customer dumped the full basket of bread sticks on his plate(leave some for the rest of us dude!). I will be back!

It was very difficult to make an educated order when the woman on the phone claims no one in the restaurant knows how many inches are in each size. I suggest to management that you make sure your employees are knowledgeable about the menu and sizes of your pies. She was unable to tell me anything. 10 inch? 14 inch? I had no idea what I was ordering

I saw the 15% off mentioned on Unilocal so I proceeded to place an order online. I screenshot the confirmation. When I arrived to pick up my pizza the guy at the counter said it was never printed and so they didn’t make it. We placed our order again and ended up paying full price. After an x-large pizza and drinks were purchased we paid close to $ 60. No apologies or discounts were offered. Please don’t place orders with this establishment expecting that they will have it ready when you expect it. Also, as we were there they brought out a pizza to the table next to us. The table seemed shocked that they brought out an extra pizza. Their kids picked at a few toppings. Then like 5 min later the guy came back and said he messed up and that pizza was supposed to go out for delivery. He then took it back and boxed it up to deliver to someone. Not that sanitary. Overall our pizza tasted good and the beverages were cold.

A couple days ago I revisited this Round Table and it was amazing! Employees are really nice and my favorite pizza was made to perfection:) Super fresh ingredients as always! Round Table is definitely the best pizza parlor around!.. and the Ripon location only helps to back up my claim! Used the online ordering and it was such an effortless transaction. I also love how detailed Round Table online ordering is, yet how simple it is to use. Will be placing my orders this way in the future! 5 stars for a perfect pizza that consists of fresh toppings and an even fresher, amazing dough :)

If I could give this place zero stars I would!!! I ordered a pizza over an hour ago. I called and to ask how much longer the delivery would take, the person on the phone said my order left their restaurant over 25 min prior, I asked to talk to a supervisor, they then placed me on hold for another 5 min!!! When the manager finally came to the phone, she told me that they only had 1 delivery driver for 11!!! deliveries, and it would be another 15 min or more before my order would be here!!! I canceled my order and I will never order from this place again!!!

Very unclean restaurant. Food and trash on floors and had to find someone to clean a table to sit at. Was going to get salad until we seen how dirty messy the salad bar was. We will be going back to Pizza plus the next time.

Pizza simply isn’t good. It’s a pity cause we gave so many good restaurants in the area

So my husband and I went in about 3 weeks ago for pizza… it did seem busy but not over an hour waiting for pizza kind of busy! Good pizza too long of a wait. I would not have done a negative review for that except for the following week we call for a delivery they said 45 min and show up an hour in a half later which would have been fine too except the pizzas were a disgusting, soggy mess and tasted like they sat in the boxes for hours! I called to ask if they’d sat for a long period of time because I paid $ 58 for my order and the pizza tasted really gross! The manager said the driver had one delivery before mine and it was close to me… she ended up offering me a $ 25 card or certificate of some sort for my next visit I did say yes because I felt that after spending almost $ 60 on horrible tasting food I would like to have it… well unfortunately I have never received any sort of compensation for my terribly expensive nasty tasting food:( I will never order pizza from here to be delivered again and I guess going in on the weekends is not a good idea either!

A late update to my review, but better late than pregnant. The store manager contacted me about my negative experience and apologized and gave me a free large pizza of my choice for my troubles. As far as I’m concerned, this is good service to take a wrong and make it right. I will return for a pizza in the future.

If you’re gonna buy yourself a pizza in Ripon this really isn’t the best place to do it. I don’t think we’ve ever had a pizza ready on time or the way we ordered it. They charge for ranch and make you fill your own(I’m fine with paying, but you could at least have pre-filled cups…) and the employees are painfully obviously just there for some extra cash in between college courses. So, while the pizza can be tasty, it’s just not worth the struggle

If you want the real skinny about the Ripon Round Table I’ll give you the insider scoop from a former employee. I worked at this terrible company for six months while I finished up at MJC. If you wonder why the customer service sucks it would be because the store was strategically kept understaffed by management to protect the bottom line. Late or cold pizza? Probably because in the entire store there is one person making pizza while managers sit in the office during the busiest times of the day in order to avoid helping out. Even when I worked at Round Table I preferred pizza plus at full price over my discounted Round Table.

I’m really dissatisfied with the quality of customer service by calling the restaurant for delivery. the young lame sheep that answered the phone with no enthusiasm in his voice. proceeded to tell me that they don’t deliver to my house. when in the past they indeed did and deliver constantly to my neighbors. he then got into a bit of a disagreement on the distance from my house to the restaurant. Claiming it was 13 miles but when mapping it, it’s only 5.9. So I just hung up the phone and ordered online. from the same round table in Ripon. and guess what they do deliver. with all the people out of work these days, they could put someone in that position that actually wants to have a job.

Round Table still makes the best pizza of any chain(and most independent) pizza makers, I have been in this one 3 times in last year due to having family members living in the area. Last visit was last weekend and pizza is as good as ever – but it is their salad bar that I really like the most, with more options than other chains. Right next door to a Baskin Robbins in Ripon, a great stop for pizza and ice cream. No other pizza chain makes a combo pizza comparable to RT, and I try them wherever I go. Funny how the other Unilocal reviews of this location show a trend — the two earlier reviews from people in Ripon hate it and people from out of town love it. What makes me think there is something personal going on?

lunch buffet is AOK! This is all I ever get at this Round Table. Their salad bar is GREAT! Ice cold plates, fresh crisp lettuce, and lots and lots of different salad ingredients, including those mini corn things which I find oddly awesome! The pizza buffet is pretty great too. They usually have a good selection of different pizzas including many of their specialty pizzas. They usually have the basics too. They also have the cheesy garlic sticks and the cinnamon sugar bread sticks. I guess the only bad part(the reason for –1 star) is that occasionally you have to wait for fresh pizzas to come out. If the pies are coming out slow you have to be a bit of a vulture to get a hot piece when it hits the buffet. The price isn’t bad either… but here’s a tip for anyone who is a member at Snap Fitness. Present your Snap card and get 15% off your purchase. It saves me about a buck on the lunch buffet :)

don’t you love it when a business posts a sign advertising a good price on one of their products outside of their business, and after ordering that product they charge you a king’s ransom and will not give it to you for the advertised price? this is an example of the shady dealings one can expect in visiting the round table pizza in ripon. i walked into round table pizza to get a large pepperoni pizza at noon for take out. there was not a single customer in the place. upon inquiring about the sign promoting the deal«large double pepperoni pizza for $ 12.99», the cashier Ashley disappeared to the back to go ask her manager about the deal since she didn’t seem to know anything about it. after waiting for five long minutes, Ashley reappeared to inform me that her manager said that the deal is only good from 6pm to 8pm. hmm. that’s weird. the sign sure didn’t have any times attached to it, or any other notations about«limited time offer» or something of that sorts. so i asked Ashley what was her manager’s name. she reluctantly told me that her name was«Tina», and i guess Tina was far too busy to come out herself and explain the policy or why this sign was out. for some reason, i have a sneaking suspicion that this«Tina» manager wasn’t even there and this explanation was created in the backroom. the entire experience was infuriating. plus, the pizza did a number on my stomach. murphy’s law, isn’t it? if you find yourself in ripon for some reason and are craving pizza, PLEASE go to pizza plus or little caesar’s instead. you will save a wad of cash and sanity.
