Pizza Hut

If you want wings –go for it. If you want pizza think twice. This place doesn’t even know what Pizza Hut pizzas are. We ordered a pepperoni supreme and got just a plain pepperoni pizza — for the price of a supreme. They fixed it (20+ minute wait) and told us they would give us the mistake no charge. Had to ask for the mistake pizza, they had taken it to the back and «forgot» it. The menu board out front didn’t even have any pizza on it, just wings. Should have been our first clue. So don’t trust them. The owner should forget the Pizza Hut half and just go with the wings. That seems to be all they are good at.

This review has a long story made short before the actual review starts. So when it comes to chain pizza places, I am a domino’s fan all the way. Pizza hut has always been super greasy and just lacks on great flavor, especially the crust. I went about 9 years without having pizza hut. One day at my work I ran into an employee from this location and we got to chatting about how this particular location just passed 100% on their health inspection. That is amazing and very good to know! I thoroughly enjoy eating food from a place that has that kind of cleanliness, as we would all agree. So my husband and I were craving pizza on a Friday night but didn’t want to get out. And I was actually the one to suggest pizza Hut to try something different.
On to the review, ordered our pizza online and was told it would be 30 minutes. Perfect! We both ordered our own medium 2 topping pizza as they were having a special for 6.99 any medium pizzas. We are so used to domino’s that we automatically only chose 2 toppings (that’s domino’s special), but you can actually put more, we just forgot until the next day while eating left overs and going over my Unilocal review. The wings from here are amazing!!! We got a 5 piece order each, only $ 4 for a 5 piece! And they come super loaded with sauce, yummy! The delivery ended up taking 45 minutes, only 15 minutes longer but the food was kind of cold, and all other reviews state they are always late, so expect that! The pizzas were exactly what we ordered and there were absolutely no complaints. The pizzas are no longer that greasy sloppy mess as I remember back in the day. And I love how you can customize your crust flavor and add a sauce drizzled over the top. So, food was great, and I look forward to ordering again from this location since it’s got the wing restaurant connected to it too. Expect a longer delivery time than quoted, not sure how accurate pick up times are. I’m not turning my back on domino’s, however I will gladly put this now in my rotation of dinner ideas

Ordered a pizza mid afternoon on July 25^th. We were told a 30 minutes delivery time and waited over 90. Called to see where it was and was told it’s enough route and nothing else. Will be ordering Papa John’s from now on.

Well, let me start off by saying the pizza is not too bad. I mean, for chain pizza it’s pretty respectable. The customer service is an epic failure. So, about 3 weeks back I have a few guys helping me remodel my guest bath. I order a couple of pizzas around the noon hour and after 45 minutes or so they still haven’t arrived. I call to find out what the deal is and I’m told the delivery driver had gotten a flat tire. They tell me it won’t be much longer. I’m an understanding guy so I wait patiently. Long story short, after 3 more phone calls my pizza arrives 2 hrs and 45 minutes later. I was told I had a $ 25 credit added to my account for the inconvenience, so I let it go. I call to place an order and utilize my store credit this evening, go figure, there’s no credit applied to my account. I should have known better, customer service at most places these days is less than stellar. I’ll be swinging by to have a conversation with management tomorrow. If there was any other pizza place that delivered to Northern Meadows, I’d be done with them for good!
