I went for my first appointment on 12⁄14. Afer many months of agonizing back pain & headaches, I decided to seek professional help. Thanks to my fellow Unilocalers, I found the«Back Whisperer» Dr Garner, and Im so glad I did. He is very professional, along with his receptionist Joanne, and Chiropractic partner in Crime, Pattie. Dr Garner came out a few times during my wait in the waiting room to greet me, to apologize for the wait(which was NOT long considering the time it takes to fill out 450835 pages of new patient history), and then to welcome me on back. Once in the room, he explains step by step, asks thoroughly(and listens) to what hurts, how much, when, why, yada yada yada… So, once the evaluation is complete, he begins explaining treatment, and then POW, he brings out this adjustment device. Dr Garner is not old school so he does not«crack your back» with his hands. He uses this machine to align your body correctly, and will not stop until you’re «good to go». Holy shit, the minute I stepped off the table, I could just feel the change. He warned me that my body would be sore(and he was right. I felt like I was in a fight. and lost). I called my mom the minute I got in the car to tell her to quit her Dr and come on over to the dark side(they have candy here too :) I am so glad that I am able to feel better and share his skills with you guys. Oh and just as an FYI, He takes insurance which is a ++++

My back has been in pretty bad shape from the work I do so I was really looking forward to my appointment. I waited a week for the appointment, was 15 minutes early because I assumed I would need to fill out paper work and they told me he would be with me shortly. Well, 2 other people walked in after me and were seen before me, 45 minutes later I proceeded to get up and ask how much longer it would be and she told me only a few more minutes. I waited almost an hour to be seen and ended up having to leave. I’m sure Dr. Garner is a good chiropractor, but the way his office is ran is very unprofessional. For a first time patient this is a terrible first impression. I would expect the receptionist, or even the doctor, would have some sort of customer service and reassure me he would be with me in X amount of time or at least apologize for the long wait, but nothing. Pretty disappointing.

Best chiropractor in New Mexico! One of his patients called him the Spine Whisper which is very true! He really takes his time with each person and actually cares about you.
