Phenomenal place. Girlfriend just got an awesome blow-out. Also, gentlemen, this is the best place I have ever been to as the guy chilling and waiting. Employees are incredibly nice and even offer refreshments. Reception/appointment booking was smooth as well. Everyone here seems to love working here and takes great pride in every task. Definitely recommend, based on this experience!

I was a client of Angela’s many years ago. I recently moved back to the area and had to make a last minute appointment. Angela was booked so I got a haircut from Maria. I had a fabulous experience! Everyone at this salon is highly skilled!

After years of bad haircut experiences and skipping out on haircuts all together, I found Saccente through a friend who has been a patron for years. Verdict: John is the BEST! EVER! Beautiful cut and blow-out, quick service, friendly and courteous staff, very fairly priced. What more can you ask for?

I LOVETHISPLACE!!!(I disclose I do not know anyone personally.) This review is going to date me… The father owned this business when it was a little barber shop further up Forest Ave(closer toward the library) and my family went to him religiously. Saccente then moved to Myrtle, and has found its home at this spot. Papa Saccente is still around because his children currently manage the place, but I have no idea if he’s actively working; I have a feeling he might be. I went to Salon Envy, but after two HORRIBLE& ridiculously overpriced cuts(and listening to the staff talk s*** about other customers by their names(!!!), including, but not limited to discussing spousal abuse and infidelities), I decided I’d rather cut my own hair. Then my dad reminded me of Saccente and I’ve been a loyal patron for almost a full year. The owners(the son & daughter of Papa) are friendly, skilled and very knowledgeable. They greet every single person with a smile and have a superior staff. I have never had to wait longer than a couple of mins, but when I have, they make sure at the very least I’ve been offered water, coffee, etc. The folks that wash hair and the other stylists are simply nice — these are things that make or break a small, locally owned business. Thankfully, luckily, they are all around good, sincere people and I appreciate them greatly. I will not allow anyone(including myself) to touch my hair since I met Maria. She’s amazing and has a lot of experience in the industry. She has that gift to give me what I’ve asked for without pictures and knows how to cut so I wind up with a style that actually suits my face. Maria is kind, highly skilled, professional and has always accommodated my needs(even when I’m just completely indecisive). I love this place and wish them so much success as they work hard for it! In a time(and area) where I encounter tons of people who want to do as little as possible for maximum pay(and TIPS), it’s so refreshing to be a customer at a place that does maximum amount of customer service with fair expectations from their patrons. Saccente is a worthwhile business to spend hard-earned salaries.
