This place is a great paint store and the staff is very nice and knowledgeable. The other review is B.S. and that store in Oakland is the worst store around, just ask almost everybody! I’m a contractor and I go to this store all the time and refer clients there all the time. I had to comment because the other review was ridiculous.

I highly recommend Ridgewood Benjamin Moore I went to James and I told him i needed help for my business he recommend the right color I am happy with it, the staff is welcoming and professional!

Seriously, save yourself some trouble and do not shop at this store. The sales staff is clueless (yes I talking to you old-​timers). The young part-​time employee knows more than anybody else. The manager seems like a nice guy, but he is most certainly not manager material. I can tell this from the fact that the store ALWAYS has items out of stock. We aren’t just talking about a situation where the truck didn’t come in on time. This guy doesn’t order products and then they do not carry things for weeks at a time. I never shop at «box-​stores» but I would even recommend Home Depot over this place. If you want to shop at an independently owned store, bring your business to Pete & John in Oakland. At least they know what they are talking about and are bright enough to carry a conversation while mixing paint.
