This place is seriously AMAZING! They are the best fabric store with the best prices in the city! lining and Tulle is $ 2 a yard and most other fabrics are under $ 5 with the most expensive being a pure wool fabric for $ 18 a yard! I was able to get 1 yard of 4 different fabrics plus 2 invisible zippers for $ 15 seriously don’t bother with other stores New York Fabrics is the best! No pressure to buy and the owners actually know what they are talking about! They won’t lie to you to make a sale they are honest about what they have and what they don’t. Definitely worth the trip to Ridgewood for the prices and quality of fabric. You will not find better in the city.

Thank goodness I no longer have to travel to Long Island for fabric. I found this place at the last minute when I needed fabric for an event. They have nice and unique fabrics reasonably priced. This place has definitely become my go to fabric store. Plus, the lady at the cashier is very friendly and nice. I love supporting a local business rather than a larger fabric corporation.

LOVE this fabric shop ! The owner is super kind and helpful. It is nice to walk into a place where the workers help you find exactly what you need. Don’t let the size of the shop fool you ! There is a huge selection of awesome modern print fabrics.

What this wee shop lacks in size, it makes up for in selection, great prices and warm, helpful customer service. It’s run by a lovely family who cheerfully welcome you and try their very best to help you find what you need and then some. You will find fine fabrics like lace, organza, silks, satins, and Spandex, jerseys, cotton, polyblends, heavy upholstery, etc– all in a myriad of colors and modern prints! If you are a regular, the owner remembers your preferences, tells you what’s new and makes suggestions – not just with me, but with many other clients! Their notions’ selection is basic but adequate, but their button selection is OUTSTANDING: the displays have been re-structured, making them more accessible and clean – the staff is more than happy to help if you need help or look lost. This shop is a gem for the avid crafter or seamstress. A visit for ONE item easily turns into an hour of browsing and finding treasures you’ll create masterpieces with. I sometimes come in for fabric glue or a particular type of buttons… and leave with 1 – 3 yards of hot fabrics and new, snazzier buttons! Now that nearby Save A Thon closed, this will become your fave fabric /notions store.

This store was small but very good. It is the last remaining fabric store in ridgewood along myrtle ave which is sad if you couldn’t tell by my emoji. There were a variety of quality fabrics and a lot of Indian esc textiles. The sequin fabrics are very unique and hard to find in Brooklyn fabric stores. Please help this last remaining store.

As far as I know there are only a few Fabric Stores on Myrtle Ave this is a small shop and inside you’ll find a dude probably working on something of his own but you walk in and there’s a decent selection of textile. We didn’t really need help we knew what we were looking for and when we did need help the guy was nice and very professional. The prices are reasonable over all it’s a decent place the only reason I give this 4⁄5 stars is because there’s so much fabric that it’s a bit hard to get around it all in such a cramped space but honestly it’s a great place to find what you need
