Domino’s Pizza

While I certainly wouldn’t classify Domino’s as the best pizza in NY, sometimes its just something I’ll get a craving for. I like the thin crust pizza, its a lot lighter than the original! Easy delivery and online ordering… whats not to like? So far I’ve never had a problem with anything I’ve ordered… always accurate and they never forgot anything. The delivery people often won’t leave their car which is a little annoying, but not the end of the world either. Surprised to see so many 1 star reviews… as of now that hasn’t been my experience.

I just got two gluten free pizzas delivered from this Dominoes and I was very happy. The pizza came in 20 minutes, hot from the oven and was very well made. Great all around !

Domino’s is running a deal for 50% off regular menu-​priced pizzas. I have not ordered from this Domino’s before, and I doubt I ever will again because of the delivery service and the incorrect order.
I ordered my pizza and it said it would take 24 – 32 minutes – wow this is speedy, I thought! They have the pizza tracker option when they send you the email confirmation, so I decided to see how accurate it was. The pizza was «with the driver» at 7 minutes past the hour. It was predicted to take up to 20 minutes for delivery from 10 blocks away.
Nearly 40 minutes later, the driver arrives, and not surprisingly, the pizza is barely warm. I don’t want to eat room-​temperature meat. Nor do I think that is very sanitary. The only way I could eat it was to throw it under the broiler to reheat it.
After getting it heated up, I started eating only to find out that there were quite pungent onions on my pizza – not part of the order because I hate onions. Basically the pizza was garbage. Even after picking the onions off, the surrounding cheese and peppers still tasted like onion.
Overall, this was a very poor experience and definitely not worth the 50% I saved.

So basically this is the story. I order pizza. Pizza comes two hours late, cold and pretty gross. I call dominos, manager, Ivan tells me he’ll send me another pizza, he seems very warm and accommodating. We wait another two hours no pizza. We call again, he apologizes and tells us he’ll send the pizza out now. Two hours later no pizza, we call again to speak to him. He puts us on hold for fifteen minutes. Female worker picks up and tells us he didn’t even put it into the system. I hate this dominos, this guy should get fired for being a ****. The female worker should become the new manager because she apologized on his behalf and the pizza arrived after 25 minutes nice and hot. It’s so disgusting how people like this are made managers

BEWARE THEY LET PEOPLE USE YOUR CREDIT CARD WITHOUT ANY FORM OF ID! when I called and talked to the «manager» she said its not her problem and call my bank! Can u imagine??? Please do NOT ever order from here and if you do, you better use cash because if you put your credit card info they probably sell it and don’t care if you get charged for it! Disgusting service and «management»!!

3^rd order since my last review: they’ve never gotten an order wrong. Fast delivery with friendly drivers. GREAT value! Try the new feta cheese spinach breadsticks – a MEAL unto themselves! MAN, they were tasty!

This an update about the pizza i got from Domino’s. I have spoken to the manager about my issues with the pizza and they have made up for the bad pizza by making me a even better pizza free of charge. Thank you

Illegally double-​parking in the bike lane every day. Use bikes to deliver or move somewhere with a parking lot, folks.

It took while to be delivered to my house and pizza was warm since it was cold outside but overall the pizza tasted good. If you are just hungry and want something to eat quickly then this may not be the best thing to choose

The only good thing I can say about this Dominos is that deliver pretty quickly. They forgot the sauce for my breadsticks and when I called they refused to deliver them to me and refused to give me a refund for the ones I ordered and paid for. It’s not like it was a lot of money. It was the principal. In the future I’ll be sure to order from Papa Johns.

Completely unprofessional. I understand it’s «just food» but when it’s almost midnight and you’re running out of options to eat, it’d be really great if the restaurant you bet on actually DELIVERS YOUR FOOD. 2.5 hours later my food is apparently «undeliverable.» Seriously? So now I have NOOO dominos and all my other food options are now closed. So I should starve to death right? Maybe you guys don’t know how that feels but it sucks. Do better. I’ll stick with papa johns.

I would not recommend this Domino’s to anyone living in the area near it. I ordered for delivery and normally have them bring the order to my door — as delivery services ALWAYS do — and the delivery man refused to enter my building. On top of this, he called me from a private number so I could not call him back. I live on the first floor, and have ALWAYS had Domino’s deliver to my FRONT DOOR. After 15 mins of waiting for the delivery man, I went outside to see why he still had not delivered and he was gone, NO notification. I call the Domino’s store to tell them about this and the representative decided to want to argue me down about how they never deliver to the doorstep, even though all of my past experiences prove otherwise. I should not have to pay for a delivery fee if the delivery man wont even come inside the building. Stick to pick up only if this your idea of delivery and try NOT to argue and upset the customers when they attempt to cancel their horrible delivery experience.

The fact that you pay a $ 1.99 delivery charge and Domino’s cannot come to the door is insane. Oh and if you dont come downstairs in 2 minutes then they leave. Quality service there my friends!

Seems like their delivery system isn’t the best. It took over 2 hours before getting my order, which was obviously cold by the time it arrived. I tipped anyway; it wasn’t the delivery guy’s fault, and he was very apologetic.
After a couple of minutes in the microwave, it was pretty good, but I think I’ll opt to carry out in the future.

Don’t ever get delivery from this place! We ordered and an hour and a half later called to see where the order was? They couldn’t even find it, even with the online tracking order. No apology, just told us that we could re-​order and it should take 45 mins. No thank you, will take my business elsewhere from now on.

I don’t get what’s not to like about this dominos. I get it, I live in NYC now, «real pizza», but sometimes you just. want. a chain pizza.
I’ve never been in the actual store, but the delivery has always been very good. They are prompt and have always been courteous. Occasionally they forget sauces, which is annoying because they are .50 extra, hence four rather than five stars. But, they tend to make up for it next time.
I love how late they are open, and the coupon options are always nice. The website is so easy to use, and the tracker is sort of silly to me, but I like it.
This dominos is everything I would expect it to be, and seems to hold up similarly to other dominos I have been to, which is exactly what I want from them — a certain standard.

Our pizza, chicken bites, and stuffed cheesy bread arrived luke-​warm last night, and the cheese had already started to harden on the pizza. After waiting 1 ½ hours for our food, only to receive it cold, I immediately called the store to tell them. I spoke to the manager on duty, and he told me that due to the cold temperatures last night, the pizzas were getting cold before they arrived to the customers, and that this was not their fault. I told him that according to the pizza tracker, my food had finished its «quality check» at 5:37pm, and the driver did not leave the store until 6:21pm, and perhaps that’s the reason the food was lukewarm. He again told me it was due to weather, and there was nothing they could do for us.
This find this sort of response is unacceptable. I have never received such a careless and nonchalant response from a manager regarding cold food. There are other pizza places in our neighborhood; this store just lost my business.

Like this dominos always order from the app so I know when it’s being prepared when it’s made and on the way, never had a problem with this place food always came in the time they estimate and came nice and hot and always got what I ask for never anything missing no complaints here

Horrible quality of food employees who just don’t care are rude and can’t be understood half the time. I ordered online and forgot to check if I said delivery to home and I called back they told I’d have to wait all of a sudden that wait turns to minutes the food gets here and the pizza was burned the cheesesticks were dark I was infuriated as this jerk expected a tip which he wasn’t getting. A gratuity is earned not demanded. I was a few cents short this idiot calls the store they call back over 18 cts that had to be paid @@ and they threatened to call the cops over it. It was paid and he left. I reported this incident on Facebook and called their call center got nothing from them. Stay away too expensive not worth the aggravation

i ordered yesterday at midnight, food took an hour and a half to arrive
the freakin delivery guy didnt speak english, and after i got my order and gave him a good tip, it turns out he forgot to bring me my sandwhich giving me only two out of three orders
when i called him he played stupid, acting like he didnt know i ordered 3 things
plus my breadsticks were burnt with no dipping sauces given
pizza wasnt anything special, it was something u can find in ur frozen food isle section
i had to call and scream at the manager here to get my damn sandwhich. when it came it looked like it was slapped a few times against the floor, so guess what we didnt eat it anyway.

So this is our usual Domino’s… the pizza is usually average at best, but it’s good when you’re looking for a quick, easy meal. Tonight we decided to try something different– the X Large Brooklyn style pizza. I was excited because I’ve had this pizza from other Domino’s locations before and it was really good– big, gooey, foldable pieces. The pizza that we received tonight was NOTHING compared to the ones I’ve had before… the pieces were tiny and there were only 6 of them… it barely fed 3 people (who weren’t terribly hungry). The pizza was definitely nowhere close to 16 inches and was just over all gross– very generic, very bland, absolutely nothing good to report. We would have had 100% better quality from a frozen pizza. Will never be ordering this pizza again, so disappointed.
