Great location for me! Food is always delicious, I’ve had their napolitana pizza and a few of their pasta’s. I usually do carry out, So can’t comment about dining in. They also have a really good cheescake!!!

I was treated to dinner here this past weekend, and was not impressed to say the least. Service was not friendly and the place is very old school. The portions were okay size, but very bland. Light on the fish choice especially if you consider Basa a fish. I wouldn’t return.

I’ve lived in the neighborhood all my life and I’m truly ashamed to say that I haven’t been here until now. The service was spot on, attentive and not a bit of a bother. One of my best friends suggested the penne spezzatino which couldn’t be a more perfect dish to be introduced to, perfectly cooked pasta with chicken, mushroom and peas in an incredibly creamy pink sauce. I can’t wait to go back.

We were waiting for a friend who was more than an hour late. We thought«why not eat here in the meantime?» It was the best surprise. I ordered a pizza, my friend ordered pasta a la fettucine. It was delicious. The best italian restaurant in NY. The décor is nice, the waiter was very kind. The pizza was perfect(and I lived 6 months in Rome, so I’m picky!) I wish I lived on Fresh Pond(!!!) instead of Manhattan, i would go there every week! Love it and highly recommend it!

This place is great. Everything I’ve had on the menu so far has been tasty. Waiters are nice. This is a nice little place for a date or birthday.

Stumbled upon this place while living in Bushwick and craving Italian. Had the house antipasto, penne vodka, veal parm and house wine, everything was amazing!

I love this place. It’s very old school Italian but the food is amazing. I usually order the linguine in clam sauce. It’s fresh and worth the wait. The pizza is amazing as well. The staff are all very friendly. We bring our 1 year old and they are very family friendly. Overall, I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is in the neighborhood and would like some good quality Italian food. My husband usually orders the the spaghetti and meatballs. The portion is worth it and the food is tasty. This is our go to place when we are in the neighborhood.

We love this place. Time after time the food is always on point. My favorites are classic dishes like spaghetti and meatballs, linguini in clam sauce. We always leave with a huge smile. The wait for the food is longer than we like but the food is totally worth the wait!!! Must try!

I’ve lived in Ridgewood for about ten years and stumbled on Antica a year or two after moving into the neighborhood. Since then I’ve taken every out of town guest there, as well as going back on a regular basis, as it’s not only the best Italian food in Ridgewood, but stands up to other comparably priced New York offerings as well. The only thing I’ve tried and not been thrilled with is the fettuccine alfredo. But their vegetarian ravioli is amazing, their daily specials are alway great, and their desserts are also excellent. They’ve had the same staff forever, and they’re all very nice — as others have said, good service without being obtrusive. More than anything, it’s its own culture, where the owners are from Italy and are there every day. I would go there rather than get takeout, just because it’s food that needs to be eaten fresh and hot.

I loved this place! It’s small and cute with a homey atmosphere. My boyfriend and I decided to come here because one of our friends had recommended it, she said she had been going here for quite some time and was never disappointed. The food was great and the prices were reasonable. I had the lasagna which was so big I couldn’t finish, so I took the left overs home, my boyfriend ordered the spaghetti carbonara with grilled chicken. As an appetizer We had meatballs don’t remember what it was called exactly but very tasty! All in all I give this place five stars great service nice atmosphere reasonable price and most importantly yummy food! We will be coming back again!!!

I came here a while back and definitely forgot to write a review, but I like this place! It has pretty good italian food, a lot of it is in a pink sauce. I had the lasagna and my friend had the penne. I liked his a lot better than mine since the sauce was different. The place is cozy but there is definitely room. It is very clean and the bathrooms are among the best Ive seen. Service is very good. The staff is friendly and they are attentive enough without being overbearing. There was also a birthday celebration and the way they sing is the cuttest I’ve seen.

Absolutely fell in love with this place after celebrating my brother’s birthday here. Another family member had been here a few weeks ago, and recommended we come here for dinner. I was hesitant because I usually don’t go out to eat Italian food. But I was couldn’t be more fortunate to find another great restaurant worthy of returning to. I made reservations for six people. Our table was ready when we arrived and it seemed like a quiet Friday night. I loved that the place wasn’t too overwhelming in terms of the crowds you sometimes find in restaurants. We were promptly given water and bread with oil. We had to ask for more bread because it was served warm and delicious. For appetizer, we ordered fried calamari, baked clams, and fried mozzarella. I ordered spaghetti trattoria for my entrée and nearly finished the entire bowl of pasta. This never happens. I usually eat half of my pasta dish because by then I’m so stuffed. Everyone else at the table enjoyed their dishes. I tried the broccoli rabe as well and definitely recommend that as a side dish with your entrée. Without giving away too much, if you’re thinking about where to go to celebrate a birthday, I’m highly recommending Antica Trattoria. Make sure you tell the staff so they can get prepped. You can thank me later. I will definitely come back and perhaps try a fish entrée next time.

There are many an Italian restaurant in my Ridgehood, and Rus recently dined at this one on a weeknight. It was relatively empty, but a few families were enjoying a lovely summer evening supper. We ordered the spaghetti Carbonara and the Chicken Parmigiana. While we waited for our food we were served some crusty bread with hot oil. Very tasty. We then saw the waiter carry over a plate of fried calamari to a neighboring table… It thus wasn’t too long before we ordered a serving for ourselves. The calamari was good. Not greasy. Pretty large serving. More than enough for two to share. Not too much breading. Decent. Our food arrived. Carbonara comes in a HUGE portion. The sauce is thick and rich. The bacon adds a much needed salt factor. I would definitely order this again. However, prepare to share or to bring home a huge tray of leftovers. Rusty’s chicken was good, however, if it had been pounded any thinner, it would have disappeared. Not sure why the chicken was that thin? Probably to cut costs. This was served with a side of delicious, garlicy sautéed escarole. This is definitely worth trying. Despite the fact that we were insanely full, we did decide to get dessert. The chocolate truffle mousse was good. A bit too much cocoa powder was dabbed on top. Also, the base was inconsistent. Parts of the mousse had a thin cake base, other parts did not. Weird. Anywho, this was a pretty good meal. Considering that Ridgewood can sometimes seem like it’s lacking in the dining department… Antica Trattoria is proof that there’s no harm in being old school in a modern era.
