Really like this store. The sales people are extremely helpful even when very busy the day before Mother’s Day! Also did an exchange of two items today they happily helped me out. Would return to this store don’t have anything negative to say. Pretty jewelry with lots of options and nicely displayed.

Let me say first of all, I like Alex and Ani jewelry(though they may be coming close to jumping the shark) they are still a nice choice when you need an inexpensive gift. Most assuredly everyone seems to love them and there are always new additions so it’s a good bet as a gift for a girlfriend, teacher, sitter etc. The problem and reason for 1-Star is this Ridgewood location. Forget parking in Ridgewood, which is in and of itself a huge pain. I just had the displeasure of shopping there today and what a bunch of rhymes-with-witches. First of all, they’re so busy you now have to give your name at the door and wait for somebody to help you. I get that, but honestly I felt bad for two gentleman who were waiting, one of whom was finally called on, only to ask for a gift certificate and be told he’d have to wait at another line at the register. The other man knew exactly what he wanted and took approximately 20 seconds to be helped and off to another line. If you feel you need a ‘bouncer’ at the door, at least have the presence of mind to sort out your customers. People who know exactly what they want or people buying gift certificates shouldn’t have to wait 10 or so minutes just to be told to wait again in another line. Finally it was my turn. I asked to see a Queen charm bracelet because I couldn’t find it myself in the display case. It wasn’t quite what I was looking for so rather than hold up the line, I told the girl I would look around and she could help the next customer. She very snottily informed me that should I require additional help I’d have to go back onto the waiting list for another round. Okay I get the policy — though I think it’s kind of mean-spirited — but she was very snippy and mean about it. Totally uncalled for as I was being polite and gracious as to not hold her up. So. Bad marks for Ridgewood Alex and Ani. Yes you are popular. Now. But with service like that this location won’t be for very long. There is this thing called THEINTERNET and ALLOFYOURPRODUCTS are available online or at other brick and mortar shops in the near vicinity. Remember especially when you are selling products readily available elsewhere, customer service distinguishes you. And frankly yours is lousy. SKIPTHISLOCATION, SHOPONLINE!

I am an Alex & Ani addict, love those bangels and now rings. I think I love A&A so much because of their amazing customer service. I went here on Tuesday with a broken bracelet and the women managing this store in Ridgewood were simply amazing. They were helpful & attentive, they exceeded all of my expectations. I continue to be a patron and truly believe in this company.

Was here to purchase about 15 bracelets as gifts. The staff was very friendly, patient(with me while I decided) and helpful. I had to exchange several of the bracelets for a different style, again, this was done without hassle. In reading the reviews, I was a little hesitant to shop here, but I had absolutely NO problem. I’m not judging a book by its cover, but there was an «older» lady that was working that had a bit of a scowl on her face and was short to answer questions but who knows, maybe she was just«in the zone». What’s that saying about one rotten egg?

I am a big fan of the product and own much but this store has the worst sales people from the manager down. It’s a shame because the product sells itself. I would suggest buy on line or from another location. Staff changes should definitely be made to reflect the positive brand of the product.

Never had an issue with this place, so not really sure where the negative reviews are coming from. I’ve been here twice, and both times were a positive experience. The two ladies that assisted me on my visits were very knowledgeable and attentive to my needs. I had a slight wait for the register the first time, however, it was quite packed that day. On my second visit, the girl who helped me was able to check me out right away with a portable device. I love Alex and Ani bracelets — The designs are lovely, and the prices are quite reasonable. I’ll definitely be back.

Buyer beware. alex and ani does not give refunds. i have written to them several times. They will not get back to me. i want to send this crap back but it says that I can only get store credit. Why would i want store credit when i do not like their stuff. One hundred dollars down the tubes.

Despite the negative reviews they were very helpful. Yes, there was a line out the door because of the holidays but they kept everything as organized as possible. They even allowed people who already knew what they wanted to request those items and have them ready to purchase once it was their turn to go inside. Also, they ask if you’re a first time customer and if «yes», they tell you about their 1-year warrantee and add you into the system. Service: good, friendly staff who handled the chaos well. Selection: great, despite it being holiday season.

I will never purchase anything from this sham of a company ever again. I ordered a bracelet online on December 10. I received an order confirmation right away, but over a week later I had yet to receive a shipping confirmation. I emailed them checking on the status of my order, and 2 days later, no response. I tried calling about 20 times and got a busy signal each time. So I emailed again asking again for a stays update. They finally replied a day later with some generic customer service response claiming high volume of emails blah blah. The order supposedly was being shipped out that day, 11 days after I ordered and was charged mind you. So I finally received my package today and guess what… I was shipped an EMPTYBOX. Just and order slip and tissue paper. Absolutely ridiculous. Be careful ordering anything from this company… NEVERAGAIN!

Horrible customer service. I was waiting 30 minutes for someone to help me. There were 4 employees in which case none know how to break away from monopolizing customers to ensure all customers are being helped. I ended up just walking out never to return, I found that Bloomingdales has a large selection of the bracelets and the customer service is much better. Not much of a selection in the actuayou’re better off going to Bloomingdales or ordering off of online. Stay away from this store!
