This Inn is set in the beautiful lush green country of Connecticut. It is a quite impressive new england style home. Stayed for a couple of nights. It is adaquate. What it is lacking is a cheerfulness, a warmth, a generous feeling. The owners are not warm or welcoming, or generous, like you’d expect from a country inn. They are rather unfriendly and cold. The foyer is rather drab, and run down, it is all dark green, could all use an infusion of cheerfulness. The breakfast is a joke-costco style blueberry muffins with your coffee or tea and o. j, everything else is extra.(eggs, toast, etc…) I have been to country inns where the owners are so warm and welcoming and the breakfast is a delicious homemade spread of yummy tastes, this Inn is NOT.
