I came here late on a Thursday night and was greeted by Holly, possibly the most friendly Walgreens employee I’ve ever encountered. She was sweet and helpful, and I left with exactly what I needed and a smile on my face. She’s definitely an asset to that business!

Byron at Walgreens in Carytown is on my shit list. Trying to check out w some waters. Long line, one person on the front register! Dude in photo area, Byron, says I can check out there… so I go over there to check out and as he is ringing me up I thank him & mention I am in a rush and they really need more than one person up there helping. Just then the front register calls him bc a lady is having an issue checking out (second time he’s been called since I had been in the store). Now good customer service would be to finish my transaction (again I mentioned I was n a rush) but instead he went to the front then into the back and frankly I needed to go period! 6 mins later he has still not finished helping me so I walked. There will b a phone call. Their whole thing is get in and get out or whatever it is in a timely well not today.

I just went to this location and feel obligated to write a review. It is a bit before 6AM and both employees I saw in the store just now were nothing but pleasant. Both asked me
if I needed help finding anything and the man I checked out with what cheery and truly engaging. It’s nice to have a 24 hour Walgreens close by and its equally nice to know how well the staff treats their customers. Thank you and I will definitely be back!

Just go outside the city because this Walgreens isn’t the best.

This Walgreens is terrible. They regularly tell you that your prescription will be ready in 15 minutes only to have it be 30 minutes or more. I’ve waited for over an hour more than once. The staff in the pharmacy are not very professional, and I’ve heard them complain about how much they hate working the drive-​through. Several times, I’ve also had them run out of my prescription, which is a very common medication, and so I’ve had to go back the next day for a second session of waiting around for them to do their jobs. If this were to happen once or twice, that would be understandable, but its happened several times. They need a better inventory manager.

Despite the limited hours of the pharmacy, I prefer this location over CVS across the street. It seems cleaner and less congested. The staff are nice and the prices are fair.

I always get my prescriptions filled in the middle of the night so hurray for this 24 hours Walgreens.
The pharmacists and employees all are very nice and helpful. The parking lot is well lit at night, and generally lacks creeps.
Before they built this Walgreens I always ended up at the 24 hour CVS on Broad Street and Boulevard, which is consistently sketchy even during the day because of the location.

It’s the one place I can bring my dog to (on a leash). The staff is very nice and helpful. Check out their weekly deals.
