Service very slow, food warm. Burger way overcooked & asked for medium rare. Ribs overcooked and tough. Steak ok, asked for med rare & got it. Sweet potato fries awesome! New cocktail –strawberry henny awesome but light on alcohol, heavy on ice Tortilla soup too salty to eat! Waste. Wont be going back.

The worst service ever! Had 3 different waitresses. Waited 20 minutes never got water-drink or any hope of food. Spend your time and money elsewhere.

The service was not bad, however, the food left much to be desired. I ordered the prime rib French dip and all the meat had hard fat throughout all of it. The waitress took it back and brought me a new sandwich with the same hard fat issues throughout. Definite disappointment.

Came in for lunch today and it was a joke. The manager who I believe is named Debbie was supposed to come over to explain why she sent sliders out that weren’t sliders. I have been here a bunch of times…4 days in a row to be exact. I get great service from Kayle. She is the only reason why I gave it 2 stars. The sliders not only took forever and came out cold, but they weren’t sliders. They had the nerve to cut a really weird thin hamburger in 4. So triangle burgers that tasted like McDonald’s. She clearly has no respect for her job to not 86 an item and instead send out a horrible quality product. They fire servers and bartenders for less… her lazy self needs to go!!!

The service is hit or miss nowadays. There seems to be a high turnover rate and the current employees have no lack or concern for the customers. It takes a long time to get waited on even when they’re not busy and even longer to receive your overcooked food. It would be nice if the chef was consistent but there’s definitely nothing constant at this location.

I’ve always loved Friday’s, but today was a terrible experience with a to-go order. I called and ordered my food and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. I arrive approximately 25 minutes later. I was told on the phone that there was no staff to go outside with a pick up order, so I go inside to pick it up at the bar. The first thing I see is three staff members sitting at a table doing nothing. Plenty of people to run out a to-go order. One person asks me if I’m being helped. I tell them I’m picking up an order and the next five minutes is spent finding my food or trying to find the person who took my order. They finally find it and I get it. The chicken was kept separate from the rest of the salad and was left in one large piece. I took it home, had to cut up the chicken, and put it on myself. Frustrating, after a long day of work! I’m very disappointed in this experience.

T E R R I B L E — I paid for my bill via Debit Card. I put down a 2 $ tip for a 10 $ meal. I was siting with my friend for almost 20 min after we paid and get told by the Manager, not only the waiter charged me my bill but also an additional 202 $ CHARGE to my card. If you tip somebody on your card, it doesn’t show up as a charge immediately, it takes a couple days, so I know this waiter deliberately did a charge on my card for some bill that didn’t exist. All the manager offered to me was his business card to let him know if anything goes wrong and he apologized. No free drinks or food or discount, nothing. It took 7BUSINESS Days for that charge to drop off of my bank account. I had to take money out of my savings to cover my expenses for those days waiting on their charge to drop even though the Manager said it would be 2 – 3 days. My bank couldnt release it any faster because their system said it was already showing to come back. Well, you are never getting my service ever again.

Fridays has totally reinvented happy hour. I love that no matter what time of day it is we can pop in for $ 5 apps and cheap drinks! My boyfriend and I have been to this Fridays twice in the past week but I was prompted to submit a Unilocal review after our visit yesterday because I was so impressed! They have a bunch of new, summery drinks on their menu for happy hour now. I got a blueberry Pom Long Island(from their website: Skyy infusions pacific blueberry vodka, Bombay gin, Bacardi run, triple sec, blueberries, pomegranate, lime juice, fresh lemon, pure cane sugar, and sprite) and holy cow it was delicious! it was strong, but fruity and tart. definitely refreshing after the 90 degree+ days we have been having in Richmond. the best part: it was only $ 6! I also got a Blood Orange Cooler(from their website: Skyy infusions blood orange vodka, pineapple juice, raspberries, organic agave, lime juice, ginger ale, fresh orange twist) which was $ 5 and even better than the Long Island. they also have $ 6 flights of local beer which includes 35oz portions of your choice. we didn’t get one, but I think next time we will. I don’t know what all the choices were but I saw they had strangeways(which I haven’t tried but have been dying to!) hardywood, and legend. it’s not a bad deal! I know they also have $ 4 house long islands, and $ 3 domestics. you cannot beat those prices. seriously! For their $ 5 apps you can get bacon wrapped jalapeños, jack sliders, mozzarella sticks, spinach flatbread, or boneless wings. we ended up snacking on mozzarella sticks, Parmesan garlic wings(my FAVORITE! theirs are better than BWW, just sayin’), and the bacon wrapped jalapeños. oh yeah, and they have PB&J wings! it sounded so strange we just had to try them. they were actually pretty good! not so much a jelly taste, but definitely a peanut-y taste(is that a word? cause I’m making it one) and sort of reminiscent of a Thai peanut sauce? I must say, everything was delicious and I was thoroughly impressed because everything came out HOT and fresh! this is so different than the frozen, stale mozzarella sticks and wings they used to serve. the service was great too. the bartender was quick, made tasty drinks, and definitely made sure we were taken care of. I think this might be my favorite happy hour place. honestly, I might go back tonight after work!

I have to say, for a TGI Friday’s, the food is very good. Especially the ribs! They are so good! It comes with a ginger coleslaw which is delicious, and I hate coleslaw. However, the food overall is great and the service is always great.

This experience was way better than my last visit. Our server«Robin» made all the difference in the world. He was super friendly, and had good suggestions and was very helpful with me and my friends. Although he brought me a martini that I just hated. It was a skinny margarita but should have been a skinny blackberry margarita. He helped me find a drink I ended up loving. The peach sangria was the perfect drink for me and I loved it so much I had to have two :) On to the appetizers, the Tuscan spinach dip was awesome. I know I was hungry but it was so good I wanted to lick the plate lol. My entrée was sizzling chicken and shrimp. The huge picture in the menu made me want to try it, and Robin assured me it was good as it looks and he was correct. I ate every bit of it. Normally I dont do dessert, but I tried vanilla bean cheesecake. Again. just delicious! Youve redeemed yourself TGI Fridays. Would I go back… yes My thoughts on my dxperience. good food is one thing but a great, attentive but not overly annoying server makes all the difference! Thanks to Robin, we had a good night. and a delicious dinner.

I didn’t expect much here even before I entered. I was specifically going in for a quick appetizer to curb my appetite. Parking was a little tight as their parking lot is small. Upon entering the hostess didn’t say much but she grabbed something that looked like a menu and waved at me so I followed. Sat me on a side area with 20 empty tables and yet the table she seated me at was right next to another table that had three people talking. Both of us should have been given our space since the customer base was light. I let it slide. My waitress, Danielle was really good and attentive and is the main reason I will return. The Sesame Jack Chicken appetizer was very tasty and my go to app.(Is it just me or have all apps at these type restaurants jumped a couple of bucks each recently?) Be careful of the advertised specials here and what they will actually honor. I don’t stop in TGI Fridays often… and overall this place didn’t make me want to come back anytime soon. I will however be back at some point and hope i get the same waitress. Everything else here is/was just meh…

After a busy Sunday, I was ready for a late night snack and a beer. On the TGIF website Sesame Jack Chicken strips are listed with a long list of other apps as half off. When my bill appears, there was no discount. I showed the manager the page advertising the special and she then replied that all locations do not offer that item on the special. I explained that as a customer, how am I to know that certain locations do not offer what the website advertises? She said she was not sure what she could do. A few minutes later, she puts a tab on the table reflecting a 20% discount off the app, without saying a word. I felt like this was a classic bait and switch. Why run an ad if you are not going to honor it? Poor policy and she could have made it right pretty easily.

I’ve enjoyed going to T.G.I. Friday’s in Charlottesville. This particular store had really bad service. There was no one to greet us at the door. It took them 10 minutes to get me and my friend seated, while the restaurant was hardly busy. Took another 10 minutes for a waitress to take our order. My veggie burger was fine, though fries seemed stale. My friend’s grilled chicken was totally undercooked. They did replace it after we complained. I love the franchise, but certainly not going back to this one.

After a long day in Richmond, we stopped here for dinner on our way out of town. It was myself and my two children. We were greeted immediately and brought to a table(in the back, right by the kitchen). The front half of the restaurant was empty. I was getting my kids settled into the booth and before I even sat down, there was the server asking if she could take our drink order. Are you kidding me? Do I look like I’m ready for your to take my order? When I told her that no, I was in fact not ready, she immediately went on the defensive and got all testy with me. Well, apparently my punishment for that was that now I would have to wait until she was good and ready to serve me. Meanwhile, the front half of the restaurant is still empty and there are at least half a dozen servers standing around. Remember I said it had been a long day? By now my kids are starving and whining and asking when someone will come take our order. I motioned for a server and asked her if she would let our server know we were ready to order. Another 10 minutes goes by. I am literally standing up to leave when she comes back to take our order. The nice drink I WAS going to order. Forget it now. I actually had the audacity to order water with my dinner(better for me anyway). Once we got the food, which came quicker than I expected, everything was fine.

Friday’s has a great atmosphere. The drinks are great, especially when Christy is serving them! All of the bartenders are fantastic, and some can even do pretty decent flair:) I recommend going to the bar over table service. The service is much faster and friendlier!

Bad service, the waitress took forever to come to our table and she did not pay attention to my rewards card and I did not get the appetizer of chips and salsa. once my food arrived I only receive part of my dinner she forgot to bring out my vegetable that goes with the meal And when she realized I did not have it she brings it out when I’m almost done eating my meal.

This place is Jekyll and Hyde. If you want prompt service, sit at the bar. They will greet you quickly about 90% of the time. The other 10% and you may just as well leave, because it would be those odd times when the place is absolutely jam-packed. I have been to this location 3 times in the last three days. Now, what’s different about this place when it’s a Wednesday night is that it turns into a nightclub. The parking lot is packed. Five-0 is in the house. Hip-hop music is blasting. It’s insane! If you go on other nights, it is fairly quiet except for the hotel guests from the surrounding properties looking for a brew and a chance to watch Sunday or Monday night football. They do run some specials until 8 pm at the bar, and they recently introduced some lower cost combos. The appetizers that are part of the special are either really good or really awful(I’m casting aspersions at the potato skins). The burgers are decent, and the fries are average to good. After the potato skin debacle, I’m hesitant to pull the trigger on more appetizer specials. Service for me was prompt, but I have only sat at the bar. Some of the bartenders are very, very good and some need a little work at charisma. Overall though, I’d go back, as long as it isn’t already packed. My rule of thumb is, a chain like that isn’t worth waiting for – there are many more around. Oh, and for those who recommend Dave’s next door? Not that location; it is horrid.

This is a good location – open late, with helpful staff. They found me a place in the bar to plug in the laptop – there’s a table where you can drape the cord over the side(but that’s my spot)! And they served me some food, checked on me regularly, and generally provided good service. Also, even though I’m a straight chick, the drunk chick who kissed me on the cheek and apologized for what happened at the bar(not me, so she was really drunk) and then apologized again for being confused, well, I just moved to Richmond, so it was nice to get some affection – and a little amusing.

I decided to go for lunch and I waited late to go in so I would miss the lunch crowd. After 15 min. of giving my order to the server, he came to me and apologize as there was only one cook in the place. He said it would be up soon. I waited another 10 min. I asked the server what seemed to be the problem as there was ONLY one other table which had customers in the place… So, I am glad I did not go during the RUSH hour for lunch as I would have been late back to work. The food was very good, however the chicken I had seemed a little dry and overcooked. I ordered the Sizziling Chicken & Shrimp. The shrimp were extremely small. I feel for what they charged you for this dish, the shrimp could have been at least the Medium size and since the place was not busy… the chicken should not have been over cooked & dry. The service was fine, however I hope TGI Friday’s will improve because there are too many chain restaurants around to choose from. I will try it again soon, and if it improves, I will up my stars.
