Best bang for your buck in the area! Clean room, the wifi worked and was fast, tv was great, and the bed was comfortable. Can’t get much better for only $ 49

price is reasonable, but very dingy and outdated hotel next to a sheets. So if your room is facing the sheets gas station expect lights and noise all night long. I did have an issue, I was charged $ 20 for a pillow, the staff said we took, if I want my $ 20 back that I should take the pillow back. The charge was days later that I noticed on my CC, there was no way of me convincing the staff that we didn’t take the pillow. So my suggestion stay away or expect additional charges.

This motel seemed like a great pick because it was close to the event we were going to and was pet friendly. When we pulled up to the motel and it seemed sketchy because it was dingy and there was a abandoned motel right next to it that looked very creepy, but it was convenient and right off Rt ³⁰¹⁄₉₅. The motel seemed clean at first glance, so we put our bags down and left our dog and went to our event. I did notice a strange strong odor as soon as we came into the room. So before we left, I put my leftover food in the room refrigerator. It was rusted and old. When we came back to check on our dog, my boyfriend noticed a roach run across the carpet. So I went to the desk clerk and told her we were leaving because the motel has roaches and she seemed very nonchalant. So I asked for a room refund and she said she couldn’t do it, so she suggested I call the manager in the morning to make refund arrangements. So we decided to stay at the Double Tree in Richmond, which is also pet friendly. The next morning I called the manager at the Super 8 Richmond and I explained to the manager all that had happened and how we had to go to another hotel. At first he said no refunds, and I said well I need the number to the corporate office. Then he said ok well bring me your receipt from the hotel you stayed in and I will refund your money. So I brought it and he refunded the money.

Easy to get to off hwy 95. Gas station located next door. Free coffee and cereal in the morning. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean and night staff is friendly. Great if you’re staying overnight. Nothing fancy but very efficient… Can’t forget the great price on the room!

Slightly seedy hotel located just off of I95 north of Richmond. The basic room was clean, but dimly lit, and there were dents in the wall. Wifi was functional, the room had a refrigerator, and the pre-​flat screen TV worked. The continental breakfast was surprisingly good and featured fresh baked waffles. (You actually pour the batter yourself.) Front desk staff was friendly, but hidden behind the sort of bullet proof glass typically associated with inner-​city liquor stores. Room rates are high relative to comparable hotels located near Richmond. Not my first or second choice in the area.
