Absolutely the worst hot chocolate on the planet. Swiss Miss made with water is far superior than this tasteless liquid. They used to have a beautiful hot chocolate called Chantico, but for some unearthly reason they removed it from their menu. Now all they offer is this substitute akin to watered down Nestle’s Quik. Even though they are a coffee shop, you would think that they would want to draw people in for more than just coffee. Being that I don’t drink coffee in the winter time, and sometimes want a hot beverage, there’s absolutely zero reason for me to ever visit a Starbucks

This is a very friendly place, from the customer service to the patrons themselves! It is a very busy Starbucks weekday mornings before 10, as lots of people stop in and many stay to work or chit chat with others. This place is always very clean and luckily the parking lot and building itself is big enough to accompany the very many patrons. Oh, and of course they’ve got wi-fi for you to sit and work for hours!

This is by far the best Starbucks in town! No matter what I order my drinks are always PERFECT! The staff is super nice and always cheerful. I even sometimes get a cute drawing on my cup! Now with mobile ordering they’re even more convenient than they were before!

Pleasant staff, well made drinks, comfortable atmosphere. They even did a good job of spelling my name. The area itself, even though close to the road feels comfortable and not crowded. I know if I’m in the area I’ll stop by.

I frequently shop in this area, but today was the first time that my friend and I decided to meet and catch up. The positives… It’s got great lighting and very bright. Typical Starbucks menu. What I didn’t like… the seating… There were just a few comfortable chairs(about four chairs and a couch) everything else was a hard stiff wood chair. I guess if I was looking for somewhere to do some work it might have been ok, but my friend and I both thought that it wasn’t a desirable set up to relax and talk. I was ready to get out of there and go somewhere else. Won’t be going there to meet and catch up over coffee or food in the near future. It was ok, just not what we were looking for and won’t be back to meet and chat again. I think there are better options in the area. But if you need coffee… It’s got it!

This is a go-to fuel stop on my 15-mile run route. They don’t seem to mind that I come in all sweaty, and they have the all-natural energy drink that helps me finish my run. I’ve seen cyclists here, too. So it’s athlete-friendly! :-)

Just as good as any other Starbucks in Richmond(except Carytown, they can’t make a cup of coffee to save their lives). The only downfall is the windows are so large and so abundant that you can’t really block the sun out. It’s really not conducive to meetings or computer work since every table has 12′ of window behind it.

I know, I’m writing a review about a Starbucks. Let the cringing commence. But for real, this Starbucks and this Starbucks alone has provided me with hours of uninterrupted working. With laptop in tow, I head to this Starbucks when I need sunlight and invisibility for a good chunk of time. Windows line the right side of the building, allowing sufficient sunlight to brighten the entire shop. Outlets are readily available for when my laptop battery warns me it’s almost out of juice. And no one bothers me. Ever. I order my coffee and snack, plop down at a two top, and proceed to type away until my little heart’s content. Located at the end of a strip of shops on River Rd right before the Huguenot bridge, parking is never an issue and I can always find an empty seat. As much as it pains me to go anywhere other than a local coffee shop, sometimes I just need this particular Starbucks to provide me with a working space upon which I know I can count.

This is a nice starbucks. Lots of light, lots of comfy chairs to sit in, fast, professional, and tasty-drink-making baristas. One of the better Bucks in the Richmond area.
