Stops serving breakfast at 10:30 sharp on a Sunday morning! My wife and I passed by other pre-check options thinking we could eat closer to the gate. Really, is it any harder to scramble eggs after 10:30? Couldn’t quite stomach ordering a plate of nachos at 10:40! We opted for a breakfast bar from the gift store. Judging from these reviews… add us to another lost/disappointed customer Sam Adams.

Staff are reasonably nice at least most of them. As long if it’s not busy they are relaxed and friendly. Most of the chairs are on the verge of breaking. Be carful that you don’t fall off. Drinks are extremely weak compared to other airport bars.

Absolutely outrageous prices! You expect to pay a premium in airports, but this is the most I’ve ever paid for a beer anywhere in the world(including upscale hotels and yes, airports, in London, Hong Kong, and New York City). Prices are not posted anywhere, which only adds to the fraud. The funny thing is, I buy Sam Adams in my firms building in the Chicago loop. There is a very upscale building in this bar. Was expecting a similar price(about $ 8). Nope, bill came to over $ 12 for a single beer. Safe to say, I will not be buying Sam Adams from now on. If they allow this type of unabated greed, I do not have patience for their product.

Can’t believe they get away with complete thievery, with no prices posted and time for a couple of beers before my flight, i order a draw miller lite, silly me for assuming that at ridiculously high airport prices should come in at 5 – 6 bucks per glass. after 2 figured better go get close to my gate, tab came. $ 20.00 for 2 draw lite beers, probably the least expensive beer available and they’re nicking you 10 bucks per, my rectum still aches. should be a law preventing greedy pigs like these to just stick it to you.

This one of the only available options in RIC. RIC is my outbound hub, I fly out of here ever week so the airport seems like my second home. I always try to eat before going to the airport, it is very rare that I would need to have a meal here. I have had flights delayed and then need to find something to tide me over to the next destination. I have ate here a couple times. It is a better choice then Applebeees and Chee Burger. The food is slightly less then average. I try for fresh ingredients versus slop, and their selection is little to none. So over the last year I’ve had 50+ Blue Moons, and probably 10 fish tacos. My only qualm is the price. It’s absolutely crazy that a beer cost 8 dollars, but I seem to pay it regardless so I guess I am the sucker.

Before a flight, we grabbed some beers quickly and the«Best of Both Worlds», which were some decent onion rings and fries. It was a decent airport bar, but nothing really special. The server was able to get us our check before I became really impatient that I was going to be late for boarding, which was a plus.

Would give zero stars if possible. The food is terrible, chicken was cold, fries tasted like they were refried multiple times both times I’ve eaten here. Do not eat here unless you have to.

One of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. Lazy, indifferent, unfriendly waitress. It was 2 pm on a Thursday and she told me there were no hamburgers. I asked for something else, and she said the place was also out of that, too. The turkey panini I ordered was like eating a warm sponge. Utterly tasteless. The fries were limp and greasy and there weren’t many on my plate anyway. The only thing that went okay was the beer. I would suggest you not eat here. The only reason I did was because American Airlines stuck me in the airport for 6 hours.

Oh wow, I can’t believe Sam Adams would damage their reputation with a crappy place like this. If you want beer, there’s like one choice on draft(Summer Ale) that’s actually from their brewery. Their menu is simple, and the food coming out of it looks like it came from a high school cafeteria. The only positive thing I can say is that they aren’t gouging you on prices like you’d expect at other airport bars, but that’s nothing to be so proud of. I mean yeah, come here because it’s the only game in town, but just know it would fail miserably anywhere outside of this empty terminal. No clue how this«celebrates Richmond».

I’m a Big Fan of Sam Adams. But this place is bad. It is hurting their brand. 12 beers on tap and only 2 are Sam Adams. The staff(one guy) was friendly but he seemed like the only one there doing anything. My sandwich was a waste of calories and the fries and onion rights were inedible. Your sandwich doesn’t come with a side… that’s extra. No way I would pay airport prices for that low of quality. Its fine for a quick beer but skip the menu.

So I was really thinking you can’t go wrong with Sam Adams, but I was wrong. We wanted to grab a quick bite like most while at the airport and decided to stop here. The service is really not that bad, it’s clean, and they have a few beers on tap, but it’s just not for me. They really seem understaffed. Now as far as the food goes, you may just want to avoid. I got a turkey sandwich, with minimal amounts of turkey. We also got an order of half fries and half rings since your meal does not come with anything. Again, disappointed. The fries were undercooked and the Rings were cold and greasy. If anything, stop here for a beer at the bar. Sigh.

Well it’s the RIC Airport so options are limited. But this place is a good option to have. It is pricey but what isn’t in an airport? The burgers are and the wine/beer selection are great as well. Not much more is needed before a flight.

This adorable little bar in the Richmond airport definitely gets a good rating because of the service. It’s an airport so everything is overpriced. The place that made this place awesome was the bartender I had. She was friendly and made a good recommendation and remembered people. Based on that alone, I’d go back here for a beer or a glass of wine before my flight out.
