Food is awesome but apparently making reservations don’t matter. Our party along with another showed up for a reservation time and both had to wait around a hour because they seat walk ins

I went there to have hibachi food with high expectation, but they turned me so sad. First of all the soup and salad they gave me was smelling. Second the guy who cooked for us put so much soya sauce in it that i couldn’t able to eat food. And the presentation is not good. Am extremely disappointed, will never go back.

Their sushi is very fresh and very affordable. And the hibachi is expertly made by a friendly chef. The service was outstanding and the ambiance was calming I would surely recommend Sakura to those looking for some great food at a great price.

Went to Sakura with friends for steak and shrimp hibachi dinner. The soup, salad and rice were all standard, but the steak and shrimp were both overcooked. Our server, however, was excellent. Very cheerful and seemed to enjoy her job.

Arrived at 6:30pm on a Friday and had my party of 4 seated right away. Food prep was fine, but no tricks were performed by the chef. Pricing is too high considering there’s no entertainment value. 2.5 stars

I’ve been going to Sakura for years. It is the first place I ever tried sushi and one of the best places in Richmond to get it! It is always fresh and delicious! On this particular night my son and I went for dinner and it was unusually crowded with people waiting for a hibachi table. We decided on getting both sushi and hibachi and opted for a table on the sushi side. Service was not the best as they were very busy and waitstaff appeared to be limited. Since we were in no rush, we didn’t mind. Our food was perfect as usual. My son enjoys the California roll and I started out with a shrimp tempura roll to enjoy all the fried goodness it has to offer. We both had the hibachi for our meal. He had chicken and I had shrimp. Both were delicious! I would recommend Sakura for both their hibachi and sushi menu!

Sakura is my go to spot for hibachi in Richmond. The lunch special is very reasonable and their portions are generous. I usually get the chicken/steak or chicken and shrimp hibachi. It comes with soup, salad, rice, and veggies. I love the fact that there is never a wait. The cooks are pretty entertaining and the service is great.
