Quickness RVA

They have so many restaurants that they deliver for that normally would never do delivery. I can get a rack of ribs from deep run to my door in 30 – 45, this is life changing. They definitely are quick, i called them after the blizzard and they still made it here in 30 minutes.
I don’t know what i would do without them. :)

Thought I’d try them out tonight as weather was drizzly. One hour and forty minutes later I got my food. Sadly, I think either «slowness» or given the temperature of my food «coldness» would be better names

Earlier today I placed a delivery order with Empire. I placed this order online and had not encountered any issues until today. What issues did I encounter? Read below to find out.
The Good:
Common Courtesy– I placed my order online before 12:00pm. roughly 15 minutes later, a representative from Empire calls me back to inform me that my food was ready on their end, but they were waiting on someone with the delivery service to pick the food up. They added that someone with Quickness informed them that there would be a slight delay in pick up, but did not specify an estimated time for delivery. While Empire did not have to do this, it was courteous of them to inform me that they would not be the cause of my food arriving late.
The Bad:
Delivery Time– After getting a call from Empire, my food did not arrive until an additional 50 minutes. While I have waited longer for some places to deliver food, those particular places had their own delivery drivers and did not carry the title «Quickness».
Condition of Food– Guess what happens to freshly prepared food when its sitting on a table and not served to its customer until roughly an hour after being made? It gets cold, which was the condition of my food. My fries were soggy while the burger needed to be nuked.
Overall– I was not impressed with the time it took to receive my delivery nor was I happy that I paid a tip before receiving any items from the delivery person. I do not fault the restaurant for what happened and it will make me think twice about ordering delivery from any restaurant that uses Quickness as its delivery service. ONE STAR.

Quickness RVA is awesome! We took awhile to try it out but have ordered through them twice and have been very pleased at how easy and… err…quick…it was! Delivery times were accurate, food was warm, and the delivery rider was super friendly.
