I am bananas about Muddy Monkey! When you walk into the store, you are greeted by a sweet smell of waffle cones. The store is always clean and their assortment of ice cream and frozen yogurt is immense. They are constantly changing their selection and getting new flavors in. What I found awesome is they allow you to try their flavors before you buy. The staff were very courteous and helpful. I will definitely be going back!

I would like to see this place be more busy. It’s really worth the time to drop in and grab some ice cream. This is the only ice cream place I have noticed in this area and it is really good. Stop Unilocaling and go get some ice cream!

I went here for the first time with my mom and my niece. It was really good. The server was helpful and kind. The place is very bright, open, clean and happy looking. Cheaper than most places like this that I’ve been to. I only spent $ 4.24 for 4 different flavors and quite a few toppings. Try the Tahitian vanilla, tiger’s blood gelato and praline cream. They were my favorites. They have small sample cups to try flavors before filling your container. My niece liked their cute green spoons and brought hers home. I didn’t care for the cheesecake flavor and my mom didn’t care for the cheesecake pieces. They had a few toppings I’ve never seen before. I’ll definitely be going back to try other flavors and new toppings and recommending it to more family members.

Great new fro yo place in Richmond. Much like other chains nationally but it’s great that this one is locally owned. Worth a stop.

What a great little place! I’m a huge fan of a similar chain, Orange Leaf, so I had high hopes when I hears Muddy Monkey was coming to town. So, I stopped in today with a friend and each of our daughters. I have to say, it was quite tasty! I tried the orange sorbet, which is super orange-y. I also tried the Tiger’s Blood. The gal at the counter recommended it and boy was she right! Fruity and light; it was perfect. Being lactose intolerant, I’d love to see more flavors of the frozen yogurt, Italian ice, etc. variety but the ones I had were actually super great! Very nice folks, clean establishment, low prices(for my daughter and I, our total was about $ 5 for an average fill up). I will he back!
