Dr Marty Wong deserves way more than 5 stars. A zillion stars. He has been my dentist for more than a decade. I’m sorry I didn’t write a Unilocal review sooner! He’s the type of dentist who truly cares about his patients. He’s «old school» where he takes time to ask how you’re doing, how’s your family. Not like today’s factory-​run dentist. Only interested in inflating your treatment plan to use every cent before next years «refill.» They may have state of the art technology, but that doesn’t impress me if the dentist is «green» with rude bed side manners. When Dr Marty discusses treatment plans, it’s not about the cost. Like you have to get this done now, or you’ll regret-​it-​scare-​tactic. Although, I’ve moved further inland. He’s still worth the drive. In the end, you’re getting quality, first class patient care experience and the staff are wonderful.

My old dentist retired and it’s been about 4 years since my last visit. I have total dentistphobia and I tend to really stress when it comes to going to the dentist so the task of finding a new one was huge. I tried two other highly recommended dentists on Unilocal but we just didn’t hit it off. Then I called Dr Wong’s office and it was the first place that did not ask me about the money nor the insurance. I told them my case and they were so nice that I made a consultation with Dr Wong. Dr Wong is amazing, he’s so calm that he emits this tranquility and I immediately felt calm and not so stressed. I have a small mouth and he’s very gentile, thoughtful and informative. Every one of his staff is sweet, very nice and supportive! I liked them so much I made an appointment that afternoon (I was lucky there was a cancellation) to get my teeth cleaned with Connie. These people are so nice, she never made me feel bad that I didn’t floss my teeth very much nor that I waited so long… Dr Wong gave me his treatment plan and even though one of my tooth is loose, he thinks we can save it and not pull it like the others thought. Honestly I like that idea much better! I don’t have insurance and I pay for all of my dental work. Dr Wong’s office is very affordable and offer several options, they are more than willing to work with you.
I was so impressed that I just had a root canal done this morning, I did the nitrous and it was pretty much a breeze! For me Dr Wong will be my dentist forever, I actually asked him if he had plans on retiring any time soon since I don’t want to have to do this again! I don’t think I’ll ever be that stressed out about going to the dentist ever again with Dr Wong and his staff!

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Steve and Dr. Martin Wong for over 20 years. We retired and in 2001 we moved to Redding Ca. One thing we did not leave behind was our dentist.
Although the trip to the office is 3 hours away we won’t go anywhere else for our dental needs.
They are kind, caring and in tune to all our needs. They are also affordable.
In my younger years I had terrible experiences with the dentists which caused a life long fear of dentists. That changed when we started with the Wong brothers. I no longer have the white knuckle reaction to the dentist chair.
Another plus I have noticed is the reaction of the children who come for appointments. I have never heard one of them upset and they always seem to walk out happy with their new balloon.
Both Dr’s are younger than me so they have my husband and myself as patients forever. Our daughter moved to San Francisco from socal and she is now happily seeing the Dr’s.
Three hours drive is worth it for the piece of mind and care we receive.

I love these dentists! Maybe I am a little biased because I grew up with their kids, and I know their family… but I highly recommend them. They are so friendly and very kind when it comes to my pearly whites.
This dentistry is definitely a family business and considers their customers to be a part of that family. Whenever I call in to schedule an appointment, the receptionist never has to ask me to spell my last name. That is a plus in my book! And that is because my last name is a little annoying to spell. They also ask which dentist I prefer, which is nice, but I honestly don’t mind either. They are both great. I usually pick the one that is available the day I am free.
I am one of those people that like to come early when it comes to appointments. There was one time I came at least thirty minutes early and Dr. Wong brought me in and updated my x-​rays to kill some time. I personally hate cleanings because flossing is something I definitely need to do more often, but after that horrible part, I feel a lot better when they tell me I don’t have any cavities.
After your appointment, they send you off with a little goodie bag filled with a toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash and of course… floss.
Just a heads up! Their office is located on the second or third floor — I can’t quite remember. But I definitely recommend to take the stairs. The elevator in that building is not trustworthy and it is very, very, very slow. Oh! And parking can be a bit of a hassle sometimes. So be prepared!

Even though my daughter has Denti-​cal and can be seen at many other dentist offices for free, we found there is no comparison to the care and superb treatment she receives from Dr. Wong. The facility is state-​of-​the-​art, clean and serene. The staff is friendly, supportive, professional and thoughtful and the wait time has never been more than TWO minutes. Best of all is Dr. Wong himself. He is patient, kind, professional and sincere and his rates are more than competitive.
My wife and I highly and wholeheartedly endorse Dr. Wong, by far, the best dentist we have ever been too!

I have been coming to Dr. Martin Wong/​Steve since I was 12. He is very patient and does great work. I have tried other covered dentist and nobody else is as good as him. They are also super clean.

Dr. wong has always given me great care when I come in. He always tries to save me time and money. His staff is always friendly and even my children enjoy going here! I started seeing Dr. wong after needing an extraction that most dentists wouldn’t touch. I was referred to oral surgery twice. Dr. wong extracted the tooth for half the price and even personally called me twice to see how it was healing. This is the best Dentist around!

DO NOT BELIEVE ALL THE POSITIVE COMMENTS!!! Those comments were from years ago. This is A Horrible dentist. Makes you make multiple appointments for there own benefit in making money off of you. Does unnecessary procedures at the patients cost. I know someone who went here and her face was paralyzed for months. Their office made around $ 1500 off of the person and that’s including her insurance. DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE!

Really an excellent dentist with a fantastic staff. I’ve been coming to Dr. Marty for years and truly love this place. If you’re looking for a dentist, look no further!

i have a very low pain threshold and a very high fear of dental work and dr. marty is the perfect dentist for me. kind, careful and so accommodating. he and his staff are great! thank you all for being so friendly and doing such a great job helping me keep my teeth and gums healthy!

We live in Antioch. We drive all the way to San Pablo to see Dr. S. Wong. My spouse sees Dr. Marty Wong.
Both Dentists and their Staff are professional and personable. I look at how the clean and sterile areas look when I walk in. Sterility of dental instruments is of prime importance to me! Their work area is clean and I see that the staff sanitizes equipment after every use.
We promise Doc. to floss. regularly. See you in 6 months! :-D

I have been going to this dental office for several years. They are clean, with convenient hours, and the staff and doctors are very friendly. This place is as good as a dental visit can get.

Dr. Martin Wong has been my dentist for the past 10 years. I went to his office after seeing another dentist who advised me that I needed a root canal and crown on my tooth. The other dentist gave me 2 options, either do the root canal and crown or have the tooth pulled! Not very good options. I went in to see Dr Martin for a second opinion. He said that he would try to save my tooth from the root canal or removal. He said that he couldn’t guarantee that I wouldn’t need a root canal in the future, but he would try his best. It’s been 10 years and I still have my tooth and it’s doing fine! I am so happy to have Dr Martin as my dentist and would recommend him to anyone.
