Since I moved from California, it was time for me to go through the daunting process of changing my plates…
I asked around my coworkers and friends and they ALL highly recommended Grubbs’ over by VCU! I was not disappointed at all as it was an easy transaction for my car to quickly get inspected in order it to meet the VA requirements :)
They are a friendly, mom and pop, style car service and you cannot get disappointed. I would say, make sure you ask when they close that day as sometimes they close early. However, they are very strong with communication and the cost is very very very reasonable!
I highly going to them if you are looking for an honest, friendly, family feel shop!

Grubbs is fast, friendly, and honest… not to mention affordable!!! I really like these guys. I stumbled upon them and am definitely going to be making them my permanent auto repair shop. I have taken my car there for new battery terminals and was so surprised at how cheap it was. My boyfriend also took his car there to fix an issue with his muffler and exhaust pipes rusting out along with a broken cigarette lighter. They had to get the part for the cigarette lighter from a dealership and use a blow torch to remove the rusted pipes and yet they were STILL done within a few hours! Great quality work too :)

Grubbs has great service and they fit me in on a recent trip home to fix a problem with the car. The shop itself was very clean which in my book speaks volumes when it comes to expectations for service. I would recommend for anyone looking for small or medium repair jobs. The guys are knowledgable and did the job well to get me back on the road.
