They don’t even deserve one star! Bad company, unprofessional technician and guess what? He is the owner! Best advice. Tell your warranty company to assign you to another plumbing company!

Wish I would have read these reviews before I had my home warranty program assign this company to service/repair/replace my garbage disposal. I have been stood up, as well, from empire plumbing. Was supposed to be serviced between 12pm-4pm today. Called at 3pm to check and see if they were still coming, got their voicemail and left a message… Called again at 430pm and left another voicemail. Then I found these very recent reviews and decided to call my home warranty company. I’m currently on hold as they try to contact empire plumbing themselves and see what the deal is. At least empire placed a request with my associated claim # but I am not trying to get double screwed… Warranty guy comes back over the phone… Who claims he got ahold of someone from Empire saying they have NO record of me calling and setting up an appt last week for today… But somehow my warranty company had a request for service placed on my behalf by empire plumbing!?! So pissed. My warranty company apologize profusely and have me another company to go with. Here we go again…

This company was sent out by my home warranty company to look at a toilet overflow issue. They stood us up for the first appointment. For the second appointment, they were late for 2 hours with no phone calls whatsoever; when they called at 9:30pm at night, they said they were«an hour away». The caller promised he’d come out at 8am the next morning — no show again. This is a terrible company that I would ask that you ABSOLUTELY avoid. Complete waste of time, not to mention I have people taking off from work twice yet getting no-shows.

Avoid avoid avoid!!! Terrible customer service. They were sent out by my home warranty company to fix/replace a water heater. I took the whole morning off work so I could be here for their appointment. They came out and were very friendly. Then diagnosed the problem and told me I needed a new water heater. They said it would be 3 – 5 days. A week passed and I did not hear anything. So I called. I got a voicemail, so I left a message. No call back. I called again the following day and again voicemail — no call back. I waited a couple more days and called once again. This time I got hold of someone. I was told he would speak with his supervisor and call me right back. No call back! I waited almost 2 weeks and called my home warranty people. They looked it up and told me that Empire Plumbing had not even sent in the report yet. So I am left with a leaking water heater and no idea of when it will ever get fixed. Due to their lack of courtesy of not calling people back, I would highly recommend you pass. There are so many other(better) plumbers out there. UPDATE… The home warranty people finally got hold of them and Empire plumbing said it would be $ 355 of extra charges for stuff not covered under warranty as «modifications» were required. I called BS and had another licensed plumber come out. No modifications were required, it was a straightforward install. The other plumber installed the water heater and the total for all the labor and parts(not including heater itself) was $ 263. That even included them taking the old heater away. On top of that Empire Plumbing were going to replace my gas water heater with no permit. A permit is required by my County for this job.
