Yuck !!! I have been dieting and trying hard to watch what I eat … Leading me to order the Grill C. Salad . Please how do you screw that up ??? The dressing was SOUR … and there was hardly to none ShavedParmesan. The woman who was at the counter . Spoke Italian and barely acknowledge me … As I waited for my salad. I notice I wasn’t special. Since she held the same Treatment to her work-staff and walkins. Her mere presence I loathed. . I want to be welcomed. Greeted I won’t be coming back . There are other things I noticed as to how poorly the place is runned but I’ll just shut up now . Next time I’ll walk the extra block and go to Danis…

This is my favorite pizza spot! I love the pizza, especially the baby pie with sesame seed crust, yummy! However my usual is the baked ziti or baked manicotti, it’s ALWAYS delicious. The restaurant has nice outdoor seating and it’s always clean. Cleanliness is very important to me and I never have a problem with the food here. I eat here 3 – 4 times a week, sometimes more depending on my week.

If you’re expecting this to be the same old place that you remember… You’re in for a horrible surprise… stale food , old food, cold food, cheapened ingredients… rude owners… Shall I go ON… the only thing that I can promise you for sure… if you do order from this place… is that you will be sadly disappointed…

Pizza here was just straight up terrible, not to mention the the way the cryptkeeper owners just fucking ignore you and somehow keep warm soda in their drink fridge.

I order from here regularly. The best fast food italian in the area, to be honest. The Lobster Ravioli is it. The pizza is o.k., but their dishes are much, MUCH better, so go for one of those. I normally get the lobster ravioli with added shrimp. A bit pricey, but worth every bite.

Stopped for a quick slice after work. And was happy to find a great tasting plain slice. So there is another choice in Kew Gardens other than the already famous Danis on Lefferts. For me this slice tastes better.

I order regularly and have been really happy with everything. The Fettuccini Alfredo is great! My favorite dish. I order it at least twice a month. I also order the chicken roll because it’s still cheesy by the time I get it. The pizza is sometimes on the cold side. Probably better to eat pizza there instead of delivery. The staff is always very friendly.

Pizza is alright, thin, and $ 2.50 a slice. Only came here because Dani’s is closed on Mondays. What keeps me away from this place are the owners. Customer service is an unknown ability to these miserable looking owners. I feel like every time I buy a slice he or she is doing me a favor. In other words no «hello, how are you»? «How can I help you» just a cold stare until you tell them what you want. No thank you either. Maybe coming here as a last resort if all other pizzerias were taken over by a zombie apocalypse. Not worth my business.

Pasta was mediocre at best– the only redeeming quality was being able to eat outside(without waiter service)

Staff Are Very Nice! Average Pizza. We sort of are regulars really here. It’s good for the area! Local Family Owned Pizza. Everyone is nice to our dog who works there. Overall it’s really not to bad. Not far from any neighborhoods in queens about 1.5 miles from Forest Hills and 0.2 miles from forest park(kew gardens)

Way better than Dani’s because it’s a regular pizza with no sweetass sauce, plus when you order a pie ask for a sesame seed crust: P I always order pizza here if I’m feeling slothass lazy and don’t feel like trekking to Forest Hills for some AJ’s or Nicks. Their garlic knots are mehh, last time I ordered delivery there was no garlic and only oil on them! But I’m not a picky yapping customer so I let it slide, that was the first time that happened anyways. But their service sucks, period, like always sucks, now period. The man and woman always look and act like they got slapped and had to pay rent every day… But where else is a girl supposed to get pizza when she’s feeling like a sloth?

I try not to leave bad reviews because I know it can hurt a business and that a lot of times — my bad service/food/issue is not necessarily the norm. Trust me that a significantly foul food experience prompted this review. I eat at L’Angolo because it’s close — that’s it. The two older Italians that run it, a lady and a man, are particularly bad at customer service. The pizza always takes too long to make and way too long to deliver whether ordered by phone or via seamless. The pizza itself is just ok, I have had better in many other places, and their prices don’t match the food quality. BUT! I still go there because it’s close. At least I used to. I ordered a meat lover’s pizza. I was told it would take 30−45min, it took 1h 15min before it was delivered. It cost ~$ 35, and weighed about 7lbs. I’m to blame for not knowing what a ‘stuffed pizza’ was, and for ordering something that cost so much more than their normal pizza. But I cannot be blamed for the oily mess that this monstrosity left on the table where I set it down. Loving meat on my pizza shouldn’t mean that I have to compromise taste and quality for sheer mass of meat on the pizza. Unfortunately this pizza had so many low quality meats on it that its most prominent taste was that of preservatives — like the kind you find in discount hot dogs. It was extremely salty, and its oil soaked through the box before I even received it. I made a heroic effort to eat it because of all the waiting and the cost, but in the end I had to put it where it belonged — in the garbage. L’Angolo was already a crappy joint and I kept eating there against my better judgement. Now I refuse to eat there at all on principle. TLDR: L’Angolo makes gross pizza. I added a photo for those who can’t believe me see photo with caption: Meat Lovers pizza.

Want a slice and don’t feel like walking all the way to Dani’s? L’Angolo won;t let you down. The grandpa slice is particularly tasty(fresh mozz, tomatoes, oregano on a sicilian slice), but also pretty expensive at $ 3.75. At least it’s filling enough to have just one. They also do pretty good heros! The meatball version is tasty and well-priced. I assume pasta with meatballs would be pretty good too. Sometimes they do let the pizza sit out a while and it shows. So best to order a full pie or come by yourself to pick what’s fresh.

Well low and behold the entire bag was old nasty and oily. I called back and she said we make them to order! Well how is this possible when there is also a piece of bread. FREIDFUCKINGBREADINMYFUCKINGFRIES! Your business has declined and I will tell everyone who will ducking listen! Your Attitude sucks! The mother, father and the son in law! The daughter is the only nice one. But never see her! I swear to everything I love YOUWILLNEVERGETMYMONEYAGAIN! THANKSFORRUININGMYDINNER! I wish I could attach a fucking picture. Fries should not be the color of my hard wood floor! Last time I checked. Potatoes when fresh are WHITE!!! OHSEEPICTURE!

I have quite the love/hate relationship with this place. The first few times I went the pizza was great, when I started venturing out to other areas of the menu, is when the problem started. I decided to get an order of wings and I was majorly dissappointed. They were super greasy and the skin was rubbery. I ended up tossing a lot of it. I just figured they had crappy wings. On another occasion, I ordered a pie and some tiramisus on a Saturday and it ended up ruining the rest of my weekend. The tiramisu made me really sick. I spent the rest of the weekend with my head in the toilet and chugging Gatorade. I went back a few weeks ago and got myself a slice, and it was decent. Nothing to write home about, I’m just glad I didn’t get sick. The owners can come off as rud and off putting. It’s almost like all they care about is money and not about satisfying or enaging with their customers, which in my opinion isn’t a way to run a business.

I was very disappointed… I placed my order at 7:40 p.m. via GrubHub, and was given an estimated delivery window of 8:25 to 8:35. When the food had not arrived by 9:00 p.m., I called the restaurant directly and was told that my order was just leaving. It arrived at 9:20 p.m. When I unpacked my order, there were two bottles of Coke. I had ordered Diet Coke, so I called the restaurant and asked if they could send the correct soda, as I cannot have products with sugar. The phone rep told me that they would not be able to send the delivery guy back, as it was too far. I reminded her of my address, and she explained that their delivery guy comes on a bike, and it is so cold outside.(Okay, so now I feel guilty for having asked.) So, I asked if they could refund me the $ 4.00 charge for the wrong items. She said yes, but they would have to come back for the sodas. I reminded her that she had just said they could not re-deliver the correct items, so how could he come back to pick up the wrong item. She replied, very matter-of-fact, I will send him to collect them tomorrow.(Are you kidding me???) I will never order from them again. They sent the wrong item, so I should have to store the soda until tomorrow. Very poor customer service. PS — Food was mediocre. I ordered linguine with white clam sauce. Small portion, not terrible, but I have certainly had better.

Pizza is great tastes amazing and is full of cheese. Gave one star less because they yelled at me for trying to pay with a «Benjamin» I can understand a policy for large bills but at lease explain it politely. Otherwise food is awesome never been disappointed with the quality.

I ordered at 7:03. My order took over two hours and two phone calls to be delivered. The pizza, french fries and chicken wings were all cold. I asked for extra sauce and cheese on my eggplant, didn’t get it. I got dressing but no salad. Asked for no plastic ware/napkins but got both. With a 20% tip my order came to almost $ 50. Maybe the food’s better if you go there in person, but this place should not be in the delivery business. When I called them at 8:30 it sounded like the guy had no idea what order I was talking about, but lied and said I’d have it in a few minutes. At 8:50 I contacted Grub Hub and my order was finally delivered in the conditioned described at 9:12. Never again.

Located on a frequently traveled route of mine, I’ve noticed a high level of patrons coming in and out of the corner pizza store. In passing, I mentioned to a friend that I wondered how the pizza was at L’ Angolos. The very next day he arrived at my door with two slices of pepperoni pizza. It was really delicious, just a tad greasy. The cheese was so stringy, the sauce was really perfect. I had to go there myself to take a first hand look and ordered one regular in addition to the two pepperoni slices. I thought the service behind the counter was a bit rude, which surprised me and hurt their rating of my review. It’s a shame to have a quality product in a good location, just to have counter people mess it all up. Maybe I’ll return for an entrée as I’m assuming it will be goid, but I’m in no rush to go back inside just yet.
