I tried once again to get my brows waxed here. It has been quite a while since my last terrible experience. While the personalities have improved, the service has not. I could tell something was wrong shortly after the tech started. With the first brow, I felt a strong stinging sensation. I got home and saw a very swollen and red eyelid. This morning, there were scratches and red irritation there. I don’t know what it is about this place, but I’ve never had any irritation at any other spa or salon but now it’s happened here again. Last time for me. Just not worth it.

There is not enough words to describe how happy I am with Lachae cosmetics. Since starting Lachae products, I feel so much better about myself.

Stay far away from this place. Pretty much they are known to do a bad job on any service you get. Some people go here because they don’t know any better, others out of desperation. Their products are cheap and not of good quality. They don’t care about the integrity of their work and to top it off they honestly do a bad job. And this is ranging from lashes, makeup applications, and eyebrows. I’ve seen their makeup break people out. It’s not good stuff. Also the lashes they apply are poorly applied my best friend had hers done and said the next day they were already coming out. I had lashes done by them twice the first time it was okay but the second time around when I went to have them removed the woman nearly pulled all of my natural lashes out. Most recently I visited the new location in tower city, as I said out of desperation I went to get my brows threaded. I noticed they charge 15 $ which is a little steep compared to much better authentic threaders who charge around $ 10 – 12. Threading is a new service they are now offering. The girl had no idea what she was doing basically. After spending about five minutes on my eyebrows she handed me the mirror as if she were done. I was surprised only because I had felt no pain of the usual sensation you feel when you get your brows threaded. When I looked in the mirror my brows literally looked exactly the same, she hadn’t removed any hairs. I observed that Due to lack of experience this young lady really had no idea what she was doing. I asked her could she clean them up and bit more she rudely responded claiming I had been using a razor on my eyebrows and that’s why they looked that way. Mind you I have been getting my eyebrows threaded for years so I know how they are ultimately supposed to look at the end and also how it feels. I kindly informed her that I do not use razors on my eyebrows I only get them threaded and that I barely felt her remove any hairs. But get this, she GROANED loudly and rudely as if me as a paying customer was annoying her by asking her to fix a few areas. She went to dramatically put on gloves and start back on my brows. Also sidenote the other customer who was in there was also going through the same thing asking the brow artist to go back again and again to fix areas. These girls both obviously lacked training. But that honestly wasn’t the worst of it. I can accept if I go to a new person and they don’t do that great of a job, it was her nasty attitude towards me when I calmly asked her to fix a few areas. If you don’t like working with people and having your work critiqued, you shouldn’t be in the beauty industry FYI. I could sense her bad attitude as she was trying to fix my brows so I told her it was okay and that she could stop now I was just going to leave. I got up to pay and she yelled loudly that I didn’t have to pay for my service. While I was glad because I didn’t feel she was deserving I also thought it was odd she was so quick to offer me a free service. That confirmed to me her lack of experience because she had no real confidence in her work, in short, she knew she had did a crappy job. And all in all I was still going to pay until she said that. Overall, stay away from lachae at all costs. They really have the reputation of not being able to do anything right but as I said before people sometimes go there because they don’t know any better or they are desperate. They offer low grade cheap products, poor work ethic, and bad customer service. Stick to MAC or any makeup counter in a department store over them. I promise, you will regret it.
