Mission pointe is great for a causal night out with friends! Start with their homemade chips(ask for them, hidden gem) also they have cocktails that will rival big city’s…I enjoy their classic old fashion… I prefer a dewers on the rocks(which came with an ice ball)… And they tried their best to accommodate! I had guests with allergies… I was with a big party… And we loved the accommodation…

Overpriced, average food, stuffy atmosphere. I felt like I was at a country club and needed to impress the other diners.

I was very pleased to find this place to kill just a couple hours. The bar is a very comfortable atmosphere and is nicely decorated. There are televisions near the bar area with no volume and dining around the bar area. Surprisingly smart casual for a bar and it has a menu to compliment the«feel.» I had a Cajun braised ahi tuna and drinks and I couldn’t have been more pleased. I saved the five stars due to another patrons order mixup. I would return though.

Meals and menu used to be a lot better. I don’t know if they have a new chef, but lately the food has been very disappointing. I used to love their filet. The last time I had it, it tasted like sirloin. Also, they used to offer you a choice of sauce on your steak, now you don’t get a choice. The sauce that was on the filet was basically A-1 steak sauce. Yuck. My favorite part of Mission Pointe was their old menu, which offered more of a selection of seafood choices. My favorite was the mixed grills, where you could mix proteins and seafoods. I loved the 4 oz filet and scallops. Since this is pretty much the only«nicer» restaurant in Richland, I think people still go there even though the food is really starting to suck. I hope they get a new chef and change the menu back to give more variety soon. Otherwise, people will stop dining there.

We enjoyed dinner with another couple at Mission Pointe last night. Everyone really loved their dinner, the food was delicious. Drinks are reasonably priced and staff was prompt and friendly. The lake perch and coconut shrimp were very good!

Awesome cocktails. The ahi tuna is delicious. And I always like hot soft pretzels to start :)

I think we went there three times while we were vacationing at Gull Lake and enjoyed every meal. It’s not gourmet but its good tasty food. We always found the wait staff to be outstanding. Their sweet potato fries are the best I’ve had and the strawberry shortcake dessert is really fantastic. They do seen to have a considerable bar crowd but that has no affect on the two side dining rooms which remain fairly peaceful. I would definitely recommend giving it a try.

Nice cozy place with warm staff and really good food. We tasted a wide variety of dishes and enjoyed them all. Nicely prepared hand-cut steaks, crispy flat bread, creamy smoked whitefish soup. Pretzel bread-sticks with yummy cheezy dipping sauce. Reasonable prices for fresh well-done food. We’ll definitely make this a go-to place in this area.

Typical menu in a small Michigan town. The dinner entrée salads are nicely portioned as are the other dining options. You will not be taking any food home, however. They serve fried chips(potato, I think) with a sour cream dip as an appetizer. I have had several of the salads and a pasta dish that were all tasty. The service is good and the atmosphere is low key. The bar area gets a little rowdy on weekends, but calms down fairly early. This is our«go-to» place on a weekend night if we don’t want to drive too far from home.

Great bar, top notch service, wonderful atmosphere, and a good selection of food from steak to seafood to burgers and pasta. My favorite place in the area. Their specials are worth asking about, too.

Clean and well appointed. The food is standard American fair, steaks&fish, burgers, sandwiches and such. Nothing really extraordinary. A good place for families to get together at! Service is so-so overall.

New sea food restaurant with some nice Kalamazoo décor. Most of food are reasonably priced and menu has many interesting choices. Like Kobe Beef Hamburger. ??? They are trying, but service are bit awkward and food should come to the table when it is hot. Or cook longer. could have potential of 4 but at this time 3
