Not my type of place. I usually have difficulty finding something to get because everything has some kind of gimmick. It seemed anything on the menu I might have wanted I would have had to subtract or substitute at least a couple things. Definitely not a simple menu. Once I get my food, it is very underwhelming and doesn’t seem like it is worth the trouble it took to order for me, not to mention how pricy it can get.

Place can get pretty loud but the menu and the quality and price of the food is pretty awesome. I really enjoyed the pasta with chicken.

Meh. That’s it. It’s a decent burger, but for the price, I’d go somewhere else. The wheat buns are non-optional, so that’s downside to me. I’m not opposed to it, but I don’t like not having the option. It was a big burger, but just not impressive.

This is what I call«the best place with healthy options.» It’s not the overall most delicious, not the overall healthiest(as in everything on the menu is healthy); but I love the place for the variety of good lunch options(pizza, pasta, salad, burgers, sandwiches). Service is fast, friendly, and food is consistent. It’s a great, simple lunch joint. I’ve had the Southwest chicken sandwich: pretty good. Sandwich-wise: don’t order any that says«wheat bread» or you’ll be in for a boring ride. The fries: thick-cut, service food fries but good nonetheless. My absolute favorite menu item: #16– Santa Fe salad with mixed greens(romaine and spring mix), grilled chicken, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, corn, black beans, avocado, and southwestern vinegrette. Yes, I memorized the ingredients bc I’ve tried to replicate it to no avail. I l.o.v.e. this so much that I’m afraid to order anything else every time I come in. And I’m not even a «salad person»! So I cheated on #16 the last time I was here. I ordered the honey crisp chicken salad bc I craved something fried. It was solid, but not my #16. Next brave attempts will be the pizza and burgers.

4.5 stars in my book. Don’t know why people hate on this restaurant. Very large selection and good food. I love the southwest chicken sandwich! Try it!

This is a bistro cafeteria. The food is bland and the environment reminds me of a bistro. The staff is nice. It honestly reminded me of hospital cafeteria food.

This place is ALWAYS good. They have their recipes down so that you can always count on the food being great. No matter the time of day(their hours, of course), they are ready to serve you w/great food. Having the TVs is an added bonus to me, and certainly makes it easy if you want to post up w/work, your phone, some friends, etc. I have eaten here alone, and felt perfectly fine. Restaurant also has outdoor seating which is nice. My favorites: the pasta dishes, tomato basil soup, tuna sandwich and the Caesar salad.

I’ve eaten here for lunch during the week and with family at weekends. Always get salads and they are very good(and big). Nice variety on the menu. My vegetarian friend raves about the sandwiches he gets. recommend you go early during the week as it gets very busy. staff are friendly and place is always very clean

My food was so good. I love this place. Also the menu has a great variety. The food is inexpensive and very high quality. My husband and I had a taste for pasta, chicken piccata and pasta fresca. They were both cooked to perfection.

Husband used to eat at their Irving location and suggested we try the one by our house in Richardson. The sandwich was decent(we both got the California) but nothing compared to the many other sandwich places in the area. The fries were basically Ore Ida frozen dropped in a fryer. Gotta have good fries to make it in Dallas, in my opinion. Bummer, because we just spent our eating out budget for he day, and left completely unsatisfied.

If you dine in, you just order and pick-up your food at the counter which most upscale fast food places are doing these days. Through the recommendations of Unilocalers, I ordered the Southwest Chicken sandwich with fries combo which was pretty darn good. I love a good ciabatta roll. I went on a Saturday afternoon so it wasn’t crowded at all.

Came to Urban Eatz on a whim. My second visit was today and I figured I should get a review in. When you place your order you do so at the counter and then wait for it to be ready. The dining area is nice and ample and you can generally find a cozy table. Today I got the Honey Chicken Salad which was so good. It has lightly breaded chicken tenders, eggs, cucumber, mixed greens, cherry tomatoes and a honey mustard dressing that comes on the side. I skipped the dressing an opted for an olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette that I make. It was delightful. My boyfriend got the BBQ chicken pizza and was very pleased with the smokiness of the BBQ sauce and how it complimented the grilled chicken. The crust comes in original or crispy and he chose original. It fits on about the size of a regular restaurant dinner plate. My previous meal was a ½ salad, ½ sandwich combo. Do yourself a favor and if you are generally a lite eater, get this option. There is more than enough food given to you. Mine came with a Cesar salad, turkey sandwich, and chips. It was all delicious. This has become our new go to place for a quick delicious bite in the area.

I really liked the décor and the menu options that they have here. The prices can escalate quickly but it’s a good atmosphere and good place to go out and have lunch. They keep the place clean and the employees were really nice.

Urban Eatz is a cool place to get a quick bite. The food is good, menu is simple. The initial turnoff was the service. Maybe because it was a slow saturday, idk. We got jalapeño burgers with fries to go; quite tasty and remained hot. I will be back and hopefully I can update my review.

The salads here are super fresh! I had a cup of Tomato Basil w-my salad today and it was delicious. Although I feel«rushed» every time I come here. I came today w-co workers, not by choice. I was out numbered. Good though. pricey but, good.

Came here a couple of times and never got a chance to review. I like this place. It’s cozy. The first time I came here I ordered the pasta, and The pasta was really good to me. A little heavy but great portions. I revisited them again and was super hungry so I wanted to get something quick. I decided to get the oven roasted sandwich with chips. It was prepared fast. Although, it was good. There was nothing special to it. So 4 stars to that. I could’ve made my sandwich myself with a small bag of chips and save $ 10. Next Time I’ll stick to their pasta dish.

Don’t let the 3 and ½ star rating fool you! This place is pretty legit. It reminds me of Corner Bakery or Panera but with much more options. The only reason I came here was to try their signature salad, the maple walnut salad, and it was delicious! I decided to pay the extra $ 2 for chicken which wasn’t bad. Portion size was somewhat large too. I tried some of my friend’s lasagna which was pretty good also. After paying at the counter, I was filling up my cup with water when my order was already ready. Talk about fast service! I can definitely see myself coming back here, especially since they have so many vegetarian options!

My favorite thing about this place is that you can order something healthy and that is still tough at many restaurants in Dallas. The atmosphere is nice but maybe not as hip or classy as the other restaurants in this restaurant area. The colors are a little drab. But it is still comfy and enjoyable. Everyone was pleasant and the food was pretty quick. I’ll be back for the food when I’m too tired/lazy to make something healthy, but mostly for take out.

Our church ordered take out for us during our training on Sunday. We had a large try of lasagna, some kind of green garlic bread and a Caesar salad. While I enjoyed the ricotta cheese filling in the lasagna, the sauce was very sweet. I was also off put by the green garlic bread because I didn’t really know what to make of it. But, it was tasty. I would like to go to the actual restaurant and see what else they have on the menu and how their prices are. I would probably order something that had little to no red sauce.
