I ordered my book on December 30th. After calling them 3 times(called on the 1÷5−− they said it should arrive on the 10th; called on 1⁄11 they said they had already shipped and would call UPS; called on the 1⁄12 they said it shipped it YESTERDAY), they told me that it –should– be here on January 17th. I asked why they didn’t expedite the shipping yesterday, and he said he didn’t have control over that because one of the workers shipped it without asking. There is clearly a lack of communication within that company. I never got confirmation that it shipped or a tracking number(that’s why I called in the first place) and I haven’t received the package yet. 14 business days(not including 2 holidays) for what was promised to be 7−10−− I’m used to booksellers being MUCH faster and much better communicators. I do not recommend them. UPDATE: I just called them(on January 17th, Day 14) because the book STILL has not arrived! They have no idea where the book is, and claim that they never received it from the publisher! They don’t even have a tracking number. UNBELIEVABLE!

It’s unfortunate that another bookstore would take the time out to write a negative review of their competition. Wanna know how they treat their customers? Just go to the store and see for yourself. I’m not an employee but I know that this store often has promotions or coupons available if you find them on Facebook.

I am a local business and experienced extreme rudeness by this stores manager. The incident occurred when a few weeks ago some of their mail was delivered to our business. Because we were low staffed I called to notify them that we had a parcel and that they may want to come and pick it up. After speaking with an individual no-one came to get it. After the fifth day, I sent it back with USPS. Today I received another of their parcels. It was certified with receipt so I called(4 times and they finally called me back) and explained that it may be important and again(with only a few people here) I couldn’t send anyone, but that they may want to come and get it. An employee came promptly and picked it up. Approximately 5 minutes later they called and said that they had received some of our mail and we needed to come and get it, so someone went and picked it up. While there they asked why the employee hadn’t brought it over when they came to pick up their parcel and they responded that they were instructed not to by the manager… Clearly this is an unprofessional and caddy environment. If they are willing to treat other local businesses like this, I can’t imagine how they treat their customers.
