I attempted to book an appt but the receptionist asked what kind of ins I carried and said that they are not taking on any new patients with BCBS. She said that they are taking old patients with that ins but now new patients. She wouldn’t say why. Would have left a better taste in my mouth if she could communicate why they wouldn’t. I would not recommend this office only bc of that. Communication is all I ask for especially since I have friends that visit this office with BCBS ins.

I’ve been coming to see Dr Sackrison for several years now. My boyfriend found him first, gave rave reviews, and then I decided I wanted Dr Sackrison as my doctor, too. I hadn’t had a regular primary care doctor since my pediatrician, and most of the ones I’d had experiences with in between my pediatrician and Dr Sackrison were mediocre at absolute best. Dr Sackrison is a great doctor: I feel like he truly listens to all of concerns and always gives options for treatment. He is also great at giving recommendations for how to stop the problem in the future(this doesn’t mean I follow the list, but as a result, I get sinus infections about once a year). He always has your best interest in mind. He’s also got a good personality. He’ll joke with us, but also levels with us about what’s going on. We’ve gotten my boyfriend’s sister and sister-in-law to start going to him, too. It’s a family affair. The other doctor in the practice left, so now it’s just Sackrison. Even though he’s definitely trying to stay busier to help offset the cost of the other doc leaving, he never makes you feel unimportant or rushed. Most of his staff is awesome too.

Dr. Gary Sackrison has been a blessing to our family. We have been going to him for years. He always makes sure you feel comfortable and get all the attention needed on your visit. He genuinely cares about you and wants to do whatever he can to help you. He is great about sitting down with each of his patients and getting to know them. I recommend him to all my friends and coworkers!

I have been seeing Gary as my personal physician for about eight years. Many of the office has been seeing him as well. I have referred a couple of others over to him and I am not sure how you would not be impressed. He is a partner in your health. He took a break and worked at Cooper for a couple of years and I think most of his patients have come back. His partner, Fleming, is probably as good as the Sack. I have seen him too. They like to tease each other and sometimes, you have to call them the«Odd Couple.» I hope he reads this comment because I am seeing him next week. I am sure he will give me shit. I know he works awfully hard and he should consider some type of retainer fee for those that can afford it. He is at the point that he could stop having to deal with health insurance companies. I know that this is a beef that both of these guys have.

I first went to Doctor Gary Sackrison 13 years ago at his other practice in Plano before it closed. I was immediately struck by how personable, articulate, and knowledgeable he was. My entire family quickly moved to use him. He basically saved my father’s life by catching an esophageal cancer in the very very preliminary stages. which is an extremely rare thing to do. It’s one of those feel good stories that almost never happen. This type of cancer is usually caught when it is too late. That was over 8 years ago. and our family is extremely grateful for his thoroughness in his examinations. He has also been very helpful for my mom while undergoing some emotional trauma and he really is such a great guy. He is not only empathetic but is thorough and intelligent. I would trust him with my family over any other doctor. I believe he’s won some«Best Doctor» awards by D Magazine. and let’s just say I have more confidence in that magazine than ever.
