Anyone that gets a chance to come over into this neighborhood should really try to stop by here and check out what they have for your backyard. I know that the main chains out there like Pottery Barn, Home Depot, Lowe’s, and even Ikea have great selections of outdoor items, but you just have to go here to believe what you see. Almost all items are very unique and fun. and will add a unique character to your backyard that the regular chains will not be able to replicate. This is the main place I go for that unique furniture item or patio piece. Great place that everyone must just at least drop by once.

I love to find little unique shops! I wandered in here when looking for a place to pick up a quick birthday gift for a friend. It’s not just a garden shop, while they do have lots of stuff for your yard/outdoors, they also have tons of great candles, soaps, home décor and gift items. If you’re looking for a place that will have that unique item or girly gift, definitely stop in and support your local neighborhood shop while you’re at it!

Nice store with knowledgeable staff and unique products. The owner(or at least I think it was) was friendly and helpful. This is definitely a breath of fresh air from the same-old, same-old garden/yard furnishings you find at the big box stores. Downing Hill offers landscape consulting/design and I guess what you’d call exterior design(think interior designer, but for your garden/yard) services. Don’t know much more than they offer these services — it wasn’t what we were interested in. Products run to unique and trendy — and the quality seems solid. If your tastes run more vanilla, then you probably won’t find much at Downing Hill to interest you. Located in the M Street neighborhood on Greenville, they’re open 7 days a week.
