I had heard that this shop had changed owners and approach and decided to stop back by. What a nice surprise! The inventory still has some higher end, beautiful pieces(the chandeliers are particularly dazzling and worth a trip just to get your coveting juices going!), but there is also now a nice mix of consignment items(some new, some vintage, some antique… all in great shape) and the price points are more reflective of what the name of the shop suggests. The store is attractively merchandised and I do think there is something for everyone, including, right now, some reasonably priced and cute Christmas décor items. I was surprised(and delighted) to find my discontinued Mikasa crystal pattern, priced very reasonably. When I took the pieces to the front counter, I was told she could offer me an additional discount… without my asking! That really is like Christmas for those of us who hate to bargain! Service was friendly and helpful. Definitely worth stopping by. I’ll be back!

If you’re looking for outstanding furniture and unique accessories for your home Consignment Embassy is the place for you. Every time I visit I am so amazed at all the beautiful things they have and the excellent customer service I received. It’s hard to believe that this is a consignment store because everything looks so new and fresh… Until you look at the price tag and then you think to yourself«oh my, this is really a deal»!!! And did I mention excellent customer service, by the time you leave you’ll feel like family. Do yourself a favor and go to Consignment Embassy before you shop high-end furniture stores, you’ll be glad you did!

Such beautiful furniture, like an estate sale from million dollar homes. If they were«used», you’d never tell.(Except the gorgeous heirloom items that looked soaked in history, and I deeply lusted after.) Many things were out of my price range, but you can tell these were much more expensive new. Some bargains tho, like upholstered accent chairs for $ 100, small décor accents $ 30 – 50, lamps under $ 100, which is in line for my normal retail faves like Home Goods, Stein Mart, Kirklands, etc(but this stuff seemed more unique). I imagine the style changes based on what people are selling, but this visit had a lot of Western chic, old world ornate tapestry and frames, a drop dead aubergine vignette, and some lovely neutral tailored things which always come in handy. I was dressed in workout clothes, so I was worried that they might treat me like I don’t belong there(that classic«Pretty Woman» complex, lol.) They did ignore me, but I kinda dig that, cuz when I’m browsing I don’t like being asked a bunch of questions or faking small talk. I plan to pop in here often, to see new inventory. :)

Don’t let the name«Consignment» fool you into thinking it is cheap. This place is high as a Grateful Dead Concert. Prices are outrageous. They sell over priced furniture and décor. I didn’t want to touch anything afraid I would have to pay for it. The first time I can’t the younger lady behind the counter didn’t even look up or greet me at all. I walked around the store for over 25 minutes and no word from the girl sitting at the counter texting her friends. RUDE. Second time an older lady was working and was super nice and talkative. That is what is getting them the 2 stars and not a 1.
