I called in early this afternoon to get a flower delivery. The person who answered the phone was very friendly and helpful. I asked for some congratulations flowers and gave her a price range, asked the florist to do whatever they wanted and asked for them to be delivered either same day or next business day. They were delivered same business day and they are fantastic!

Yesterday I received a stunning floral arrangement in a gorgeous vase as an early Holiday gift from a loved one. It was a lovely surprise. The delivery guy was charming and very polite and the unexpected gift was stunning. The arrangement was red roses, stargazer lilies(my favorite) with gorgeous white and pink chrysanthemums. The flowers were all perfect with the roses still tightly budded and the stargazers just starting to open(my favorite way to enjoy them). There’s the perfect balance of greenery. Not too much, but enough to tie it all together. This arrangement was truly a work of art. I have to say I’m not really surprised at the gorgeous arrangement and the quality of the flowers. I have always had a 5 star experience with Backstage Florists. I was just glad that the floral arrangement I received as a gift, came from Backstage. I’ve been using Backstage Florists since 2011 and they have never let me down. Previously I had used a very large and well-known Dallas florist whose panel vans you see all over with their name on the side. After 3 bad experiences in a row where I tried to work with them and they just didn’t seem to care, I realized the original owner had retired and it was time to move on. I found Backstage by accident when I went to lunch a few doors down from their location. I stopped, peeked in the window and the arrangements looked gorgeous. I started ordering from them and was always very pleased. My philosophy with flowers is that you get what you pay for. I’m willing to pay more for higher quality so I tend to be very demanding. I have found with Backstage that you have to be very specific of what you want or else they will design the flowers the way they think are best. Are they expensive? I guess it depends what you are looking for. I find Backstage to be reasonably priced for the quality I demand. Some might find them to be high priced. In my humble opinion, they offer a great value for the prices they charge. They also work with you to meet your budget. You do have to tell them what you can spend. They can’t read your mind. If you tell them you don’t want a certain type of flower like carnations or similar, they do listen carefully. Also, and this is true of all florists, order in as much advance. Give them time to get the type of flowers you truly want. This is especially true with smaller boutique florists like Backstage. Also, if you want the flowers by 10 am on a particular day, don’t order them at 8 am of that day. If you have a bad experience, give them a chance to fix it to the best of their ability and don’t expect an unreasonable fix. I know that not all people always experience every florist the same way, but I have nothing, but good things to say about Backstage Florist. They have always listened to what I want, they give me reasonable expectations about what they can do and they deliver what they promise. Not only was I totally thrilled with the Holiday floral arrangement I received yesterday from Backstage Florist, I can not recommend them highly enough. I will continue to use them for all my floral needs. They are lovely people, try very hard to do their very best and a pleasure to deal with. I realize not everyone will have the same experience I do with Backstage Florist, but I personally give them 5+ solid stars. I am very very pleased with them and their designs.

My husband had ordered flowers for me and really wanted them delivered that at be for 12 and they delivered they by 10! The arrangement was beautiful and I love the little bear that came with it. Thank u!

I have been using this florist for years to send arrangements to family in Texas… birthdays, anniversary, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, you name it! Being in CA I don’t get to see the arrangements but my family always gushes about how beautiful they are. Chris is incredible, humorous, patient and truly has an eye for creating beauty. Prices are reasonable and delivery is always prompt and courteous. I have nothing but good things to say and I must have sent 30 arrangements over the years… never a bad experience!

Had used Backstage Florists since 2011, and today they lost my business. I ordered flowers to be delivered for Mother’s Day, and not only did they deliver the wrong flowers(not *even* close to what I ordered), they tried to tell me that even though they had made a mistake, that they had delivered their«marquis/marquee» arrangement and that I had gotten«full value», which, I guess, was their way of saying that I’d gotten more than I paid for, which was not the issue. I balked at this, as anyone should, and finally they relented to sending out the corrected order. However, I was told that«nobody has tulips» right now, and that the lilies weren’t going to be open yet. I had no problem with the lilies, as they would open by the end of the week, and they could substitute for the tulips; but since this particular arrangement was highlighted in their Mother’s Day offerings, wouldn’t you have thought they could fill the order with the flowers that the arrangement calls for, else why have it in there? I fully expected them to re-send the correct order without hesitation when I sent them pictures, not try to get out of it. In the end, they ended up re-doing the order and picking up the wrong one(I’m letting my mother think they realized their mistake instead of my having to correct it). There are other florists who, I’m sure, can do better in customer service. Edit: My mother told me that the woman who picked up the flowers identified herself as the owner and had a middle-eastern accent, which sounds like the person I talked to on the phone who tried to tell me I should have been happy with what they delivered in the first place. Same person? Possibly. Take that into consideration.

THISISTHEWORSTPLACEFORFLOWERS! DONOTORDERFROMTHEM! MY birthday is on valentines day so my fiancé had flowers delivered the day before. When they arrived, they were dead and falling apart. The roses were shriveled and the birds of paradise were literally dying. I was shocked so I called them and let them know that I was very disappointed with the flowers. They NEVER apologized and asked me to email pictures, which I did. After I sent them the pictures, they said that they would pick up the flowers and deliver more tomorrow. I am going out of town for my bday so I would not be here tomorrow. I explained that to them and they said that thats all they could do, or let me keep the flowers(horrendous flowers) and give me a 2-% discount. AREYOUKIDDINGME??? The lady on the phone(manager), hung up on me and when I asked to speak with the owner and they said I couldnt. I will not rest until I speak with the owner. DONOT, I repeat DONOTORDERFLOWERSFROMTHEM. ITSTHE worst service EVER!
