The young women working at the front counter are totally useless. They have no customer service skills, are impolite, and have absolutely no desire to help the customer. My 3 girlfriends and I stopped by the bakery for pastries and cappuccino. There were four young women working; none of them acknowledged us. When we did grab one of server’s attention to question her about a few of the pastries she acted as if we were inconveniencing her. The bakery itself is very clean and the pastries look appetizing. However they look better than they taste. I orderef the tiramisu which was absolutely the worst I’ve ever had. It was served in a cute little chocolate cup that was supposed to be filled with tiramisu and topped with whipped cream. However, the cup was mostly filled with whipped cream and with a spoonful of tiramisu. My two friends shared a slice of chocolate loaf cake. They complained that the cake was ice cold instead of being served at room temperature. The coffee was bland and the hot tea was simply a bag of Lipton tea. For the small cup of «tiramisu» and a hot cup of Lipton bag tea was $ 7.26. I find it quite pricey to pay for a chocolate cup filled with whipped cream. Luberto’s get two thumbs down!

Best cannoli in all of Boston. I’d go here before I go to Mike’s any day of the year. You can go here for fresh, delicious pastries and should never go and not have cannoli!

OMG as always everything was fresh and delicious! We went in after a horrible dinner at a local restaurant and ordered cappuccinos and with that they GIVE you a variety of cookies that was fresh!!! While we were enjoying every sip and bite a young kid stopped at our table and asked if everything was ok. He introduced himself as one of the owners and was giving us some history on the bakery. He actually showed us pictures of his great grand parents recipe book! Nice to actually have an owner greet you and be kind and genuinely concerned if the product is great. AWESOME and will definitely go back for more of everything!!!

I absolutely love the pastries from Luberto’… but every time as I’m on my way over there I dread going in because of the customer service at this place. I agree with another Unilocaler that I only seem to see reallyyy young girls working there that always seem to have an attitude. And if not the attitude then fake cliché greeting but dread to answer questions about the pastries. NOT the way to go about wanting to make your business bigger. But!!! Must try the strawberry cheesecake cups omg they are so addicting and perfectly creamy and just-right thick!

I love this bakery. They have a large variety of cookies, cakes, and pastries to choose from. The cake decorations are beautiful. They have different cake themes for child birthday parties and weddings. The service is great and you will not have to wait long to be helped.

I agree with previous reviewers about the customer service at this place. I wanted to place a substantial order(over 300 cannoli) and no one could help me when I went in to the bakery in person. I was told to call the next day, and when I did I was told that no one could send or email me a receipt for my order until the order was delivered. When I let them know this was a deal breaker, they said I needed to come in to the bakery to get a receipt. When I said I had come in the day before and no one was available to help, I was hung up on. The cannoli are fine at this place, but they have lost my business.

I’ve never actually been in to this establishment. I have however had the pleasure of tasting these delicious pastries. If you think you have to go to the North End to get your hands on authentic Italian pastries and cakes you are mistaken. Look no further than this Revere gem. You will not be disappointed!

Horrible used to be the best of the best now the girls in the front use their phones and snapchat while taking your order and the cakes which used to be beautiful are now over priced and done without care completely ruined my cake! Look like they dropped glitter on it! Very disappointed would love for them to return to there old ways!

Luberto’s was my family’s go-to bakery for years. Yep, that’s past tense. Their customer service and product quality have steadily gone down, and not surprisingly, their prices have gone up. As a result, we’ve been increasingly excluding Luberto’s from our birthdays and holidays. The first to go was their customer service. They seem to exclusively hire girls in the 18 – 22 age range that are moody as hell and act like they’d rather be doing anything other than assisting you. A smile goes a long way in my books, but they can’t even manage that here. I can overlook shitty customer service but definitely not mediocre baked goods. Every year I looked forward to my beloved cassata cake for my birthday. However, they completely botched my last one. It just tasted… different and unsatisfying(and dry). Like, one piece and I was good. To top it off, they spelled my name wrong. And the thing cost like $ 35. It’s baffling that there is frequently a line out the door. I’m convinced it’s a combination of people that are averse to change and those that have never actually tasted great Italian pastry. I’ve never been floored by any of their pastries. The ones that aren’t burnt or stale are just average. Their cassata cake was pretty much all I ever raved about. But I can say with certainty I will be ordering my birthday cake elsewhere this year.

If you love classic Italian American bakeries then you’ll love this. Think the Bronx in the 90s. Neon lights and mirrors everywhere, and multicolored cookies galore. I love the guava turnovers with caramlized sugar on them(though one time I had it and it was burnt and nearly inedible). You can’t go wrong with all the almond cookies by the pound. If you’re looking for a delicious and fun bakery, this is great. I love to stop by here and get big boxes of goodies for my coworkers.

My family has been coming here for years. Way before I was born. Everything here is delicious but, my top favorite is their Strawberry Cheesecake as well as the different assorted Italian cookies they have that you get to choose from. I always buy a pound of the Italian cookies and they’re gone in my house the next day!

So my all time favorite bakery closed a week before my birthday. I was a little upset I couldn’t get my special whipped cream cake with strawberries from Patsy’s. Anyways, my boss suggested Luberto’s. I told my sister about it and she surprised me with their strawberry shortcake. It wasn’t a cake from Patsy’s, but it didn’t disappoint!

Man o man Luberto’s I work in healthcare and a patient and her daughter brought in an entire cake size box of deliciousness to thank the staff and her dr. Oh lawdy we were in desert heaven. Strawberry and pinapple cheese cake cups. The plump strawberries. Every single one of everything they chose looked so delicious I wanted to try if I could but I couldn’t be a pastry monster lol. The cannoli man o man so creamy and fresh everything oh so fresh I’m drooling just thinking about them. I just gotta make it there. I haven’t even been to your bakery and I just have to go !!! This has to tell u something I think I’m in love

Seriously? You have teenagers that don’t speak a word of English running the counter. They butchered the writing on the birthday cake. The cake was stale. How awful! I’ll stick to D’Amici in Melrose from now on. I was truly hopeful considering the reviews and the interior of the shop. We were greeted by one very uninterested teen that nearly dropped the cake and continued to ramble in Portuguese and laugh with her friends when she should’ve helped the other two people waiting behind us. Terrible service. The cake itself was clearly sitting in the fridge for days, I can’t believe I spent $ 22 on it. Stop and shop would’ve had a tastier cake. Perhaps we just got REALLY unlucky, but I would suggest a better counter staff and fresher cakes, please.

awesome bakery! Im originally from the area but live in DC-metro area now and anytime my husband and I come to visit my parents we come here to take goodies home, specifically the lobster tails and ricotta pie, but everything is amazing. We just got married this past weekend in the Boston area and had Luberto’s showcase their desserts, everyone was so amazed and in love with them! Great job! Now you just need a spot in DC!

Have been to Luberto’s a few times and it’s a pretty standard Italian bakery. The cappuccinos are very nice, as are the few baked items I’ve tried. The apple turnover is one of my favorite items, but everything looks delish. The workers probably aren’t the most efficient. or friendly.but the quality of the products is good. Paying is sometimes awkward because if you want your food/drink for there, they tell you to go sit down and they will bring everything to you, then you can go pay at the end. Will usually then take a while to get someone to pay attention to you so they can take your money. Oh, and don’t even try bringing counterfeit ten dollar bills there, because they ran mine through a scanner last time to make sure it was legit.

Disappointed they should bake honeyed croissant each morning not just weekends. The Pastry is the Best there. It’s good to sit in for good nice cup of coffee or tea. The service is good from the girls, the girls very well mannered & so nice. Although buying a cake for any occasion is very expensive but if you like Their goodies then it’s worth it! They make awesome pizza!

This place is great. Easy to find if there isn’t a power outage due to the amazing amount of neon lights and mirrors. It feels homely though. The baked goods are really good and larger than some of the downtown shops. You can see a wonderful assortment of children’s cakes on display. There is pizza and coffee. So you can get a great meal here and eat it at one of the nicely set up tables and chairs(extra space upstairs). If you are close to here and know some old or young people. Stop in and grab a gift before you head over to that party or coffee date. Sweet dreams!

I recommend the honey glazed croissants. Too bad they only make these on the weekends. Have it with a warm cup of hot chocolate with whipped cream. Yum. Their cakes are very moist. The chocolate fudge cake is a chocolate lover’s dream come true. Have to try their Tres Leche(three milk) cake with strawberry on top. It’s such a beautiful and delicious cake. If you are looking for a cake to impress your lady or even guests, this is it. Overall, very happy with selection and customer service.

Awesome, fun place! Whatever you want, they have! Open long hours, they seem to have every pastry, cake or baked good that you desire! Off-street parking, seating, and fun atmosphere. Most individual items in the $ 3 range. I recommend! Delicious!
