We stopped by to have a quick dinner. The wait staff was very nice, the girl that helped us was very helpful. Always being so polite and serviceable with our needs. The food was good very average with what they make nothing crazy but it could if been me with my selection. But overall great experience good food, good wait staff.

Décor is nice and cozy for a weeknight meal and to watch a sports game. Plenty of TV’s and seats. Staff is nice too. Trivia night was something I didn’t expect here and if I had the time to sit for 2 – 3 hours, I would come back! Food wise it wasn’t bad, tad pricier than I expected and if it’s your first time, look up their website to sign up their mailing list for a free appetizer!

I have it two stars because they took the stuff off the bill without making me ask. Otherwise this experience was absolutely terrible. We ate at the bar like we always do at the location we regularly visit. The bartender couldn’t be bothered to pay attention while we were ordering, walked away while we were still talking more than once… Rude is the only way to described it. Next the food comes out wrong not just once but twice. We were done. I accepted an offer for chicken fingers and asked her to pack them to go since my husband had reached his tolerance level and was waiting in the car. Out they came on a plate with the sauce on the side in the little cup. I asked for a box because i wanted them to go, she asked away with a bit of a huff and came back with the box, dumped the chicken I and asked away. Big surprise, no dip on the side to go. Enough is enough. We won’t go back but one good thing came out of it… We now know just how awesome the crew in Salem really is.

The food seems pretty consistent. The fish n chips is great at 10.99 great value. My only complaint this a Sunday night is the cluster fk of service. They were way understaffed. Our server was a sweetheart even though she was worked like a government mule.

The«Classic Burger» came(finally) and was ordered Med Rare but was cooked Med Well and was cold like it just came out of the Fridge as a leftover. The fries also cold and limp like was cooked hours ago!

First off, I would like to say that the service was excellent. That was the highlight of my experience here. My waitress was named Nathalie I believe and she was a pleasure as a server. She was attentive to my needs even though she had quite a bit of other tables to cover and she was nice and friendly. She was the highlight of my evening. The food on the other hand was atrocious with the exception of their boneless sweet mustard wings(i forgot the name but remembered the taste). Those were delicious and I was happy I swung for the XL serving. I ended up ordering their lobster roll because I had fond memories of the ones I got from Kellys so I elected to give it a try. It was 18 dollars so I was kind of expecting something half decent. I chose to have rice pilaf and french fries with the roll and let me tell you. all three were bad. The lobster roll had no tail meat at all and consisted mostly of knuckles and the top part of the claws which aren’t that great. The lobster roll was extremely salty. same with the rice pilaf which was super salty and somewhat raw to boot. The french fries looked like they’ve been re-fried at least twice. I’ve worked in a restaurant for 4 years so I can tell when the fries get re-fried to make them hot again and it wasn’t good at all. The only thing good about this place was the service. avoid if you’re looking for a good to decent meal.

Great food. Turkey tips today. Marinated and cooked beautifully. Nice change of pace, love them. Wide variety of food on the menu. Full bar.

Here waiting for my meal and still waiting it’s been about 35 mins for two sandwiches unbelievable I will guarantee that my fries will be cold I’m so tired of establishments that do not give excellent service and quick I’m in the industry of hospitality I expect more and coming from a mom that was a caterers and a dad that was a top chef really annoys me

Have never been to a 99 before but was just looking for a quick lunch near my hotel by the airport. My friend who knew about the place said it was good inexpensive food with a good selection on the menu. We were seated in no time and our waitperson was there in a second to take our order. She was very friendly and got us drinks very fast. They service popcorn when you first arrive which I thought was novel and tasted pretty good while we were waiting for our order. I selected the marinated tips which my friend recommend and they were tender and very tasty. I know this is a chain of restaurants but I was very pleased with the food and level of service I found. I live in Seattle and when I am back in the area will look for a 99 for fast, good and friendly service.

Stopped here as a last resort. Haven’t been in a 99 in 15 years and think it will be 15 more before I return. I sat at the bar, and bartender is in a fog never asked me if all was okay or if I needed anything else after I ordered. The steak tips looked liked they were ground beef glued together. When it was time for the check I needed to send a flare to get her attention. The bar is only 25 pct full. Total sh$tshow

Say down at the bar and the bartender brought us some popcorn. After thanking her and joking how badly we needed a drink after a long day of moving, she then began to clean dishes and restock things for a solid 10 minutes before taking our drink order which was pretty strange. Then new people came and sat down and she took there drink order right away. I had to signal her over to get her attention after she had waited on them. The first drink I had was good(strong) then the next two sucked. There’s nothing worse than an inconsistent bartender. The food was surprisingly really good(somehow this is my first time going to a 99). I got the BBQ turkey tips and they were delicious. Large portions and very affordable prices. The only thing that would stop me fr going back would be the terrible drinks.

We sat at the bar — food was good(not a lot of choices for vegetarians though). Service was EXCELLENT! The employees seem very happy which is always a good sign. Also appears to be a lot of locals which is a good indication.

I will preface this review with the following disclaimer: I hate chains. After being out voted and drug here by the scruff of my neck, I consumed a meal here yesterday. I’m not one to start off with a gripe so I will say that our server Paige was as lovely and professional as a server could be. Probably the beat service I can recall in a high volume restaurant. The bad part? The 12 hours of pure hell post meal. Moral? Never again!

I came to the Ninety Nine Restaurant for lunch this past Friday with a few people from work. I grew up going to various Ninety Nine establishments. As a kid, I was all over their fish and chips. Nowadays, when I do make a visit here, I’m all about the tips & tenders. One of the things I’ve always liked about this chain is that the staff is(for the most part) very friendly. We sat at the bar and the bartenders was nice, attentive, and good at her job. You can always tell a veteran bartender/server when they memorize your order right off the bat and don’t need to repeat for clarification(also, bonus points for getting it right.) The food is good. It’s not great, it doesn’t suck, it’s just right down the middle. I ordered my tips medium rare. A couple of them were medium rare, a couple were medium, and one was well done. Despite the unevenness, I still enjoyed them. The tenders were actually less breaded than I remember — thankfully — and were fried up just right. Price point is good — perfect for a quick lunch or dinner option. That is precisely why you visit a chain such as this — you want good, quick food at a small price. Out of all the local restaurant chains, Ninety Nine does it the best.

I love the 99 and have been to several locations. I only give 3 stars for this particular location. My wife and I love to go here for quick easy food at great prices. We typically sit at the bar which is convenient. Bar is large and has TVs for when a game is on. Main reason for the Rating is the service. And only one particular Bar tender at that. 2 of the lady bartenders are great. One in particular, is great. always very welcoming, genuinly interested in patrons. One other, could care less. EVERY time she is on, the drinks are wrong, the food is wrong, specific instructions are completely forgoten, you get an app and then dinner and the food comes at the same time. I can understand a few mistakes, I’m in no way perfect, but I’m talking every time, at least 7 now. All in all, still great. Just be careful if you sit at the bar.

OK– So it’s The 99. It’s a chain restaurant. No-one is rolling homemade meatballs or hand breading fresh chicken cutlets in the kitchen. As long as you go in knowing that, you’ll be OK. We had Lu for our waitress. Lu used to work at Uno’s in Revere. She is now at the 99 and if you go there, I recommend you try to be seated in her section. She is a veteran waitress, pleasant. Everything you want in a waitress. I adore her. We got our free popcorn.(YUM) and 2 beverages Iced Pomegranate Tea Bubble Green Tea For dinner: App: Boneless Wings(½ Buffalo and ½ Gold Fever) Delicious and about 8.99 for a good portion. Me: Coconut Shrimp App for my meal. Taste was good but they overcook the shrimp so they are rubbery. The coating is tasty though and the tropical dipping sauce is a good complement to the shrimp. 8.99 ish Hubby: Steak Tips with corn and mashed Portion was very fair. Tips(all except for one) were cooked the way he ordered. The marinade is subtle, not sweet and the tips are tender. It’s no Floramos but then, what is? The corn was buttery and crisp and the potatos were better than average. 11.99 or so? She packaged all of our leftovers separately which is ALWAYS appreciated. Bad for the environment maybe but good for me. YAY I hate when places throw all of the food in one box. She offered dessert and coffee. We declined(politely) She presented our bill(45.00 including 7.00 tip) and we were on our way. The 99 will never be ZAGAT rated and it will never receive a Michelin Star but for what it is, it’s OK in my book

Never been a fan of the Ninety Nine Restaurant chain… yet I find new ways to be disappointed by them each time. The majority of the alcohol they have(especially well rack) is 99 branded. Their long island ice tea alcohol is mixed(lame!). They don’t make Mojitos. They shouldn’t even have a bar if they can’t get some decent generic alcohol + mixers. Ordered the sirloin tips & chicken fingers. The fingers were something I’d have found on a pigeon. They were that small. The sirloin tips were also about the size of silver dollars. Pretty f’n sad. The Tuesday soup: Crab something or another was VERY good. However, good soup can’t heal the disappointment of a crappy main course. The desert? Key Lime Pie… who messes up Key Lime Pie? 99 does. It tastes like something they got out of a BJ’s Wholesale Club freezer. Worst Key Lime Pie ever! I am a Key Lime Pie connoisseur, and this was terrible. The only decent thing about this place is the $ 1.99 Budweiser Select draft and the .40 wings on Thursdays. I won’t be back.

The Ninety Nine in Revere is the perfect place for delicious, cheap wings and great people watching on a Thursday night. At only 40 cents a wing, free popcorn, and cheap beer(in comparison to Boston ie: Jacob Wirths) this place is a gem. My fave is the buffalo wings with blue cheese sauce and the southwestern egg rolls(only 4.99 from the bar menu). Plus, the atmosphere is pretty nice, seeing how most people are locals. One Thursday I happened to be there I got to witness drunken middle aged couples being kicked out for cussing too much and being tooo wasted. Even funnier, is that when one of the lady’s was told to leave her drink, she then chugged through her straw while smiling at the bartender. Ahahaha.

I like to stop by after work sometimes and have dinner while I check my emails — the bartenders are fabulous — especially Julie and Paulina — chowder and appetizers always delicious — my favorite dinner is the cedar plank salmon with garlic mashed potatoes. nice chardonnays — you can’t go wrong with the 99 Restaurant in Revere, MA!

a 2 star effort. I’ll explain. Sat in the bar on Sunday, August 9th. The food was ok. Nothing great. «Small caesar salad was not small… but charged as that.» The fish and chips were ok. Diet Pepsi again, ok. The service? What service? Seems the bartender was more interested in talking to his friends(was fairly busy) than working. Had to beat him over the head to order, for a refill, for the check… etc. I’ve been to this place before and the service in the table area is always good and usually in the bar. I’ll be back again, but if I see that bartender… I’m sitting in the table area.
