I’ve had multiple good experiences with Dr. Rubinstein. He taught me how to cure a painful plantar wart on the bottom of my foot using crushed aspirin and duct tape.(Yep! duct tape really does fix everything). My wart peeled off and the pain was relieved within a week or two. Now I ALWAYS wear my flip flops in the gym locker room! He also taught me how to use athletic tape to heal my plantar fasciitis. This treatment did involve one cortisone shot which was painful but it provided instant relief. Combined with the athletic tape, relief was soon to follow and I have been pain free for over a year since I stopped taping. I will definitely go back for any future problems. I appreciated the inexpensive home remedies he provided me with.

Worst staff ever! Very unhelpful. Dr. Rubenstein is great and he knows his stuff but if you have bad staff it doesn’t make up for the services.

Doctor Rubenstein seems to know what he’s talking about, and I’m sure he’s a good surgeon, but his bedside manner stinks. He walked into the room, didn’t even say hello, and went straight to my feet. He asked me what the issue was, I told him, he said within 30 seconds that I need surgery. So, seems surgery happy to me… didn’t really seem interested in hearing what I had to say, my opinions, my feedback… all seemed to fall on deaf ears. Oh well, there are plenty of others.

I had a bad experience here. The«custom» orthotics that I paid hundreds of dollars for were extremely uncomfortable. My feedback fell on very deaf ears on my return visit. Dr. Rubenstein made the orthotics and then I saw Dr. Lane during my follow up. There was never any resolution but I made the mistake of asking for a cortisone injection and it was the most painful ever. I then went to the second Podiatrist I had been referred to and my painful feet immediately felt better with a thirty dollar pair of already made orthotics, I was so amazed and I still use the same inexpensive one… instant relief. I would definitely try a more inexpensive route before you shell out hundreds on orthotics that may not help… or be sure and ask them what happens if you don’t like these«custom» orthotics.
