Rodolfo Gonzalez, MD

Dr. Rudy is AWESOME! He has a wonderful reputation at both Inova Fairfax and Reston Hospital Center. I had a high risk pregnancy and he was patient, understanding and kind when speaking to us about any of our concerns. Although the wait at times was a little longer than I would have liked, I understood that he was a busy doctor and emergencies do happen. More often than not, he was rushing in from having to deliver a baby that morning!
Each and every nurse was a delight to work with. They are patient and sincerely invested in their patients. They love getting photos of my little one and are always so excited when we stop by.
I feel sorry that the previous reviewer had the experience she did… I know when I was expecting I wasn’t always so happy… maybe that was the case for her!
Long story short… I say give him a chance! He has worked out great for me and my friends and coworkers that I have referred to him.

I do not recommend Dr. Gonzalez if you are looking for an ob/​gyn.
The nurses at his office were usually nice. The waiting room was very small and cramped because there was always a lot of people waiting and a lot of people had to stand. The doctor was always coming in way later than my appointment time. So total time for my visits were usually some where around 3 hours!
I always felt as though he was trying to rush us out. Any questions we tried to ask him, he would never really give a serious answer. Some questions, he just avoided all together.
He induced earlier than my due date because it was more conveinant for him. Which ended up causing a stressful birth for my baby and myself.
I would not go back to him ever! Keep looking!
