We went here the night before Valentine’s Day and luckily we beat the dinner rush and were seated right away. We brought our infant with us and got a great booth against the back wall so all our baby gear was out of the walkway. We started with the onion rings and they were greasy and slightly burnt. I was super sad that their menu changed. They no longer have the 2 pasta options I would have ordered. I opted for the bleu cheese bacon burger instead, with a garden burger patty and salad instead of fries. Okay, so, garden burger is a BRAND so I thought I’d get that kind of patty. Instead I got their version of a veggie patty. It’s a common mistake so I didn’t complain. It tasted like artificial grill flavor. Yuck. It was also brought out without bacon even though I told her I still wanted bacon even though I was getting a garden patty. They also brought fries instead of salad. An employee, not my server, came by and I mentioned the errors so she brought me a salad and 2 slices of bacon. I wish they would have taken my meal back or offered me a discount because it was a good 5 minutes of me waiting, etc. and letting my food get cold. I ate it anyway since they were getting busy and my baby was starting to get fussy. As a new mom I was super excited to get a glass of wine, but it was so expensive(although delicious). I got a glass of the Cavit Moscato for $ 8.50 when a bottle at the grocery store is $ 9.99… But that’s to be predicted unfortunately. My husband waited a long time for his pan pizza which was super overpriced at $ 20 but he loved it, so there’s that. All in all the service was good. Food was pretty terrible(for me, not my husband). Drinks were tasty but pricy. I don’t think we will go back since the menu changes made me sad. Our meal came to $ 68 and that just seemed excessive for what we got. The best part, I’d say, is that the restaurant was so noisy that no one noticed when my baby was babbling loudly! So half a cheers for that ;-)

The pizza and drinks were delicious and service was great. However, the waiter made this big deal about making sure I checked in and checked off the code for the Free bread after check in and he never brought out the free bread. I didn’t bring it up to him because we had already left by the time I remembered. Other than that this place has a really nice laid back vibe and the pizza was so delicious.

Way over priced for what it is. If you go here wanting Pizza, go somewhere else. They have very over priced food with strange toppings. It’s not worth the price and the ambiance and staff were not up to par with the price.

Overall, this is a pretty solid place to grab some food and drinks. Since it’s located at The Landing, there’s plenty of parking. There is a covered garage directly across from the entrance of the restaurant. Otherwise there is plenty of parking around due to the amount of shops/restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The service was good overall, so no complaints there. It was a nice touch having the first piece of pizza served to you by the server, especially since some of the tables are pretty long making it difficult to have someone on the end by the pizza stand shovel a piece of pizza on your plate while they’re eating. The food overall was ok. Had the California Dreamin pizza(medium size) and a salad. The pizza crust in particular was what stuck out in our minds the most. Not burned, and almost had a garlic/cheese taste to it. Overall, both the salad and pizza were good. I think I just need to try something different next time, as I wasn’t overly thrilled with the taste of either. Our friend ordered the buffalo wings, which were pretty good. Would have liked them to be a little crispier, but that’s just me. Our friends ordered a red sauce pizza, which they liked, so I think I’d have to try that instead. The food is a little pricey for what you get, so just be ready for that. Overall, if you want a nice place to grab some food and drinks with your friends or a group, this is a good place to try out. It’s A-Ok!

«The Dwayne Johnson» as I call it, the pizza joint at The Landing. The long and short of it: 1. Buffet. If the statement«I feel like eating my weight in pizza and then sitting around while I wait for the food hangover to pass» is rattling around in your head, head here. The buffet is all you can eat for $ 11 and is a slight cut above what you might expect quality wise. It’s not amazing, but it is bottomless. Bonus: Free mozzarella bread when you check in on Unilocal! To go with your other unlimited pizza! 2. Atmosphere. 70s-80s Rock gimmick doesn’t go further than this place. A constant slew of Zeppelin, Motley Crue and Guns N’ Roses will attack your ears at all time, while old music videos and concert performances show all around you. Not good, not bad, just depends what you like. 3. Prices. Overpriced but standard for the landing. Honestly the buffet is really the only thing worth the price in my book. I’d choose elsewhere if there were better pizza available at The Landing, but it’s nice that The Rock is there for when I want to fill myself with enough pizza to hate myself. Overall Grade: C

The only thing that was nice about this place was our waitress. She was so kind and prompt and all around wonderful. Everything else was terrible. All 3 of us disliked our food and could not eat it. The food was also priced very high for what you get and also it was sad to spend money on food that was barely edible. The music was extremely loud and they kept playing the same songs over. It was really hard to hear anyone talking. Our booth was wet and sticky which made it very uncomfortable. The drinks were not good and seemed watered down and were also overpriced. Will not return.

We ordered the free mozz bread which was yum and the chicken strips for appetizers. For dinner we ordered half Hawaiian and half chicken with arugula pizza. For drinks we had the Jell-O shots which was pretty good and the mojito was good too. Service was good for a Sunday.

I’ve been here a couple times — and I’m still unimpressed. The atmosphere is nice, but the food and service is overpriced and lacking. Even on a very slow Sunday — they placed us in the ‘bar’ for some reason. With only one other table, you would think the server would be more attentive. It took almost 10 minutes to order drinks /get water. The food tends to be smaller portions than you would think — which can’t justify the price. Definitely Meh…

The perfect place to come for drinks with a girlfriend! This is my second time here for their buckets and I am very pleased. We went straight to the bar area and our server Nicki was great– she was sweet, knowledgeable, and very attentive to our needs. I got the Susie Q bucket. It is a «skinny» bucket but I was able to substitute the 0 calorie rockstar it comes with to a regular. It was soooo good and definitely my favorite bucket I’ve tried yet. My friend got the lava lamp which is also tasty. The lava lamp is so tall you need a booster seat to actually drink your drink. Bendy straws would work as well that way you don’t have to stand up to take a sip. We also ordered a few jello-o-shots and it came in a syringe type thing which was very cool. Fun way to eat it. The free order of mozz bread upon check-in is actually really good as well. I was surprised. It paired well with our drinks. All in all, 5* for the excellent customer service and experience provided from our server Nicki. Drinks & mozz bread you can’t go wrong!

Service at the bar was good — for the drinks only — beer and cosmo. Ordered 2 servings of the Flat Iron Steak($ 17 ea ?) — Order 1 — Mash potatoes were luke warm. Had to wait for another order of hot spuds. By the time they were served already ate the steak(Extremely small portion!!!) and broccoli. Actually should have just ate the spuds as is. Order 2 — Mash potatoes were again luke warm and waited for another order of spuds. Ordered steak med/well — was served more on the rare side. Very disappointing meal. 1 Stars due to the nice server and drinks

Came in for some pizza and pop for a boys birthday party. Service was good(Emily), but our dishes appeared dirty. Dried food was found on all of the plates. Emily apologized and brought«clean» ones. Dish washer needs to improve quality. Food was good but pricy.

The Rock, conveniently located in the Renton Landing. Upon my peers, it is legendary known for it’s Bucket drinks with numerous amount of shots in the mixed drink that comes with a can of red bull flip upside down and on top of that, you get to keep the bucket and shovel after you are down drinking it as a souvenir. It’s a pretty generous size bucket too, definitely enough to get birthday boy tipsy. I believe it’s about 12 dollars which you get more booze than if you were to spend at a club, during happy hour, it’s 2 dollars off any Bucket drinks. I know everybody LOVES pizza at The Rock, I think it’s alright. It’s not something that I crave, but if somebody wants to celebrate or eat here, I would be down to go. Their wings are off the hook though, way better than Buffalo Wild Wings because it is so crispy on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside. I tried some happy hour menu food the other day here and although I must say the sliders were decent, I didn’t expect to only get 2 for $ 7. The Pepperoni & Sausage Little Rockers didn’t have a single piece of pepperoni or sausage to be found, like literally. I am not sure if we just got a bad bunch or if it’s just«pepperoni & sausage» flavor and not actual pepperoni and sausage that goes in there, but it was basically dipping bread in marinara sauce. Overall, not my favorite place to eat, but a great place to hang out to munch on bar food while hanging out with friends on a random week night since they open during late hours.

We tried to go here for lunch on Sunday, for 2 people it was a 25 minute wait. Not because they didn’t have any tables, the restaurant was nearly empty, but because they only had 1 waitress on staff and she was busy helping the other two tables. Who staffs one waitress for Sunday lunch? Sunday lunch should be huge for The Rock. There was two hostess, who stood behind the counter on their cell phones while we waited. 25 minutes came, still hadn’t been seated, I asked if we were going to be seated soon and was told, «another waiter will be here in like 30 minutes if they are on time, can you wait that long?»… no we cant wait an hour for two people to have lunch in an empty restaurant on a Sunday.

This place is my go to spot for some good pizza! Great place to hang out with the homies as well as with family. If you’re a Unilocal member and check in you can get an order of mozzarella bread! In the summer time you can relax outdoors and enjoy a great meal day or night! Big thanks to Charles for being a cool server! He’s got a cool pen collection too!

Our visit yesterday was our second visit to The Rock. The first time we left, as we sat without service for a very long time. Thankfully, yesterday was not the case service wise. Originally planning on going somewhere else for dinner, we ended up here. Never have dined here before. We were immediately sat in a booth in the back. A few minutes after being seated, our server stopped by. She was very friendly and helpful with going over any questions we had about the menu. We ended up ordering a Chicken Quesadilla for an appetizer, and then my boyfriend ordered the Hello-Goodbye Burger, and I got The BTOBLT. Our food arrived before the appetizer, so we canceled our order on that, so can’t really give any opinion. It sounded delicious though, maybe next time. My boyfriend repeatedly said how fantastic the burger was. My sandwich was pretty good, the bacon was like really, really crispy, but it was good overall. I probably would not order it again though as it is pretty plain and I didn’t get full like I had hoped. Both came with a good portion of fries as well. Wouldn’t be my first choice to come back to, but most likely will return at some point; maybe to check out the happy hour appetizer specials.

Went here for dinner with a friend because she wanted to try a bucket. It wasn’t that great. But there were 3 of us, so it was easier to finish. It tasted like bubble gum. I got some free mozz bread for checking in on Unilocal.(Go Unilocal!) It was really good!!! And it was keeping my hopes up for what was yet to come. However we found the pizzas to be tough and thin(cardboard) and bland. The crust was tough to chew and the toppings were sparse. What the heck kind of dough do they use. The mozz bread was super yummy but the pizzas were such a disappointment, doesn’t this place specialize in pizza? At the end of it all, I was wishing for some Pizza Hut. Two stars for mozz bread, and our server that seemed to not know the menu at all but tried. Kudos for trying.

First time here. Got a free Moza bread(thanks Unilocal!) which reminded me a lot of the flat garlic bread they have at Cici’s. Ordered two of their famous bucket drinks, the Suzie Q and the Lovely Rita, which are pretty generous portions for one serving. The Lovely Rita was good, however, you couldn’t really taste the alcohol. Maybe there was too much juice or something. Ordered their wings as an appetizer(not as good as other restaurants totally dedicated to chicken wings) and a 9″ Crazy Train pizza which I highly recommend for meat lovers out there. 9″ is probably not gonna be enough food for one hungry person. Overall good experience with excellent service.
