The pad see ew was decent. Very small portion though for comparable price at other locations nearby.

Had take out from here, had Pad Kee Mao and Pad Thai, both were great, this was the best Thai food I’ve had in Renton, didn’t taste pre made or anything, sometimes you get terrible noodles that have texture like they came out of a box but these were cooked really well and tasted great.

I have been choosing Thai on Highlands over other delivery pretty frequently. After recommending the place to multiple people and hearing that they were disappointed, I realized that I too limit my choices in dishes when I eat here. Choosing the basics will never steer you wrong. I have grown to crave the pad Thai. The Crispy Chicken Pop is always fantastic. Masaman curry is a consistent winner. Hell, any curry from this place tastes amazing. There are however a few dishes I have eaten that don’t match the yumm factor of the others. I won’t say which, choose and choose alike. Enjoy a great meal.

So me and my family have been going out to eat here for years and years. It’s been a favorite of ours. Unfortunately, one day we went here and I ordered soup that had a fly in it. I was not upset about it because things obviously happen. So I told the waitress and she took the food back, I assumed she would come back and ask me if I wanted something else. No… She didn’t. Instead she brought us the bill, no discount, she did not remove my fly soup. So I said«aren’t you going to take that Meal off the bill?» She said«I can do 50% discount». I was embarrassed and I didn’t want to argue so we paid and left. Really guys? We’ve been going to you guys for years and they couldn’t have just brought me something to eat without an insect in it. Truly pathetic. This was my fathers favorite place to eat with us and he hasn’t suggested going there since.

Really good food love the atmosphere the décor is so pretty and adds to the vibe a down side was I asked for my kids noodles to be plain and specifically said no egg but ended up with egg but it’s ok my little one still enjoyed the noodles and steamed rice Their plates are a nice serving size I shared the chicken chow mein and beef fried rice with my mother in law and still took a full serving of each home!!! That’s a bonus!!! Definitely a place worth trying out if you like good filling food can’t wait to go back to try their pad Thai !!!

Best Thai food ever! have been going here for almost 2 decades. It is the utmost in quality, ambiance, and service. Every dish is done to perfection. The prices are great too. Love this place!

Thai on Highlands is my favorite Thai restaurant that is close to my house, and the fact that they deliver is awesome! I probably order too frequently, as the delivery driver knows my dogs names! Their thai fried rice, pad thai, and mas man curry are my favorite! I wasn’t much of a curry fan, but the mas man curry has definitely converted me!

Thai on the Hilands holds a very special place in my heart; it was our first date location and 6 years later, we still frequent the place((((: Their dishes are either a hit or miss with me, with most dishes being hits(like their rad nah and spicy noodles!). I also love that they allow us to order soft tofu vs fried tofu because I’m honestly not that big a fan of the latter. What more could I say? Service is attentive and great, silverware and glasses are clean and never have junk stuck on them, and appetizers are generous and delicious. Drinks are also very good!

Always consistent with their food. My go to place for Thai food. It’s a hole in a wall and everyone should know about it! Love the food. Portions are generous and price is decent!

Disappointing. I was hoping to find relief inside on a hot day but they did not have any AC. Very uncomfortable inside. Even the water didn’t have any ice, so between the heat and the meal I was sweating bigtime. I was the only one dining in and service was still a bit slow. The pad thai portions were not reflective of the price, and they had the most expensive fresh rolls I’ve seen in any thai restaurant so far. The spice level was bland for a hot rating. Skip this place.

HUGEFANS!!! We are die hard Thai foodies and by far they are the best of the best. We have been eating their delicious food for a few years now and it is our«go to» when we just don’t want to cook but want a fantastic meal. We have had it for 2 ppl and up to 8 for a family dinner party. They definitely deserve a 5+ star rating!!!

I wanted to venture out of my comfort zone and try other Thai places around the area. This was on the way so I ordered a Pad Thai take out. First of all the portions are huge for a total of 9.80. I split it into 2 meals easily. The food itself is another matter. It wasn’t very flavorful, period. It wasn’t sweet, spicy or sour. It just felt like oily noodles. It was overall very bland and not aromatic. There was a decent amount of pork but it was hidden amongst the piles of noodles. The stars is for the portion size and not for the quality of the food. Take out was very fast though and ready within 10 minutes!

I really wanted to like this place, especially because of how convenient it would be for me to have a good go-to Thai spot closer than Factoria(which would be Thai Ginger). I had a to-go order here and was sorely disappointed. I ordered the Phad Thai Chicken and Fresh Spring Rolls. The phad thai chicken just wasn’t good. It was very ketchupy and super runny. The Spring Rolls weren’t anything to write home about either. The noodles were mushy and the sauce was terrible. I feel bad about not liking their food because the folks there were so friendly. I called my order in, was stuck in traffic, and when I got there they were re-heating the phad thai since it had been sitting for an hour. Even with the superb service, I still can’t give them 3 stars given how disappointed I was in the food itself.

This place was surprisingly good. The outside of the building doesn’t look like much but the food is really good! We went there because of a recommendation of someone else and we were happy that we did. We were told by a regular there that anything that you order on the menu will be good and we loved everything that we had here. Just don’t be in a hurry when you go here because the service is really slow.

About a year and a half ago, Thai On Highlands seemed to be testing out their menu. My boyfriend and I visited a few times and the plating was never consistent, nor were the spice levels, ingredients, or taste. But now, after eating there three or four times in the last three or four months, the food has been amazing. Everything is consistent again. The service has always been great. I love the food. I always get the pad Thai, medium spice, with tofu and pork. The crab rangoon and fried prawns are also very delicious! The sauce that comes with both is yummy. Prices are good and understandable and the portions are great. Oh, and the Thai iced teas are perfect! Definitely my favorite place to get Thai food!

About 2 years ago I would have rated this place 5 stars– for what it is(hole in the wall thai food) they had great prices, very friendly service, nice portion sizes and the food was amazing. I went there pretty regularly. Then I took a friend last week and I was embarrassed. I had the same server many others have had– perhaps he is painfully shy but you don’t even quite know if he got the order correct. He cowers and looks down and doesn’t actively answer questions. Then the food– we had phad thai and chicken pop(chef’s special) and they were tasty but the portions were small and the prices were high. For two entrees and two scoops of rice it ended up being like $ 26. That’s no beverages, no soup, no appetizers. For lunch on a Saturday? No, sorry, not worth it. Kami Teriyaki down the road is 10x as tasty with huge portions and great service. Very sad to see this place get a little too big for their britches and start jacking up prices and reducing serving sizes but I believe that is what happened. Do yourself a favor– go somewhere else.

This is my husbands favorite Thai restaurant by far! He loves their Tom Yum Talay soup with extra seafood. And having had it at many locations — this is his go to place. I also really enjoy their pumpkin curry with chicken and panang sauce. The service here is really unbeatable. They really take every effort to get to know their customers. We come here on a regular basis and having the staff remember your order down to the fact that you like extra hot sauce is a huge plus! Especially in an impersonal world we live in — they are top notch!

I just wanted to give a new place a try, so I ordered some take out. Friendly from the phone call to the pick up. I can’t wait to try dining in. I tried the pad thai(I asked to have it spicy a 3 or 4) they gave me what I asked for as it was very spicy, next time I will probably ask for a 1 or 2. Even though spicier then expected, it was very good and fresh, large portion. I also tried the chicken dumplings-Yum! Those came with a tasty sauce. The take out container had air holes so the food wasn’t soggy by the time I got home. The thai iced tea was also delicious. I’m happy and satisfied with my overall experience.
