Sugar bar has the best cup cakes I have ever tasted! Mia is a sweet heart and her customer service is nothing less then steller! The Pina Colada OMG SOOOOOOOOOOOO awesome. I love she is a very lovely product and all made from scratch. I know this because we work in the same commercail kitchen. Mia is a very hard worker and she has the best cupcake around!

Cupcakes were awesome!!! And it was awesome doing business with Yemaya! So nice and helpful! She delivers and customizes the cupcakes for my gfs surprise bday. They need a storefront so we can just walk in and grab some

We bought the coupon for 2 dozen cupcakes and we ordered the white russian and the irish cream.
yemaya– the owner– was very accomodating when i contacted her via email. she even was able to customize my cupcakes for $ 3/​dz for my friend’s 30^th birthday. even though you can’t really taste the cocktail, but i really enjoyed the smell of the liquor! all of the guests in my friend’s bday party loved it! thank you sooo much! would definitely order again!

When I found out about this place, I was pretty ecstatic because I saw that they made cocktail cupcakes!
I’ve only made pink champagne cupcakes once for my birthday which turned out fairly well. Anyway, I came to this place more because I had a voucher for 2 dozen cocktail cupcakes. If it wasn’t for that, I am not sure if I would have bought any because the prices are kinda steep.
This review is solely for the White Russian and Strawberries & Champagne cocktail cupcakes. First off, I want to say that I really had high hopes and wanted to not just like but love the cupcakes.
Here’s why I only give them 3 stars:
Size; the cupcakes are like normal homemade cupcakes, pretty small.
Texture; both were very dry, not moist at all.
Flavor; the White Russian had a good flavor actually but the other one lacked the taste of strawberries and champagne was too mild.
Also, I chose the Strawberries & Champagne because I was excited theirs had champagne infused strawberries in the cupcake but was disappointed to find just a very small piece in my cupcake; and that was the only flavor of strawberry I actually got.
On the upside, the lady whom I picked up my order from was very friendly and made no fuss I had completely forgotten to bring cash to pay for the taxes. I may come back to try the regular cupcakes; I believe I can pick up individually ones at a nearby café?
