The watch repair inside of Fred Meyer’s jewelry department is always very pleasant, nice and welcoming. When I come in with any problem with any watch I have Sandy always takes very good care of me! Thanks again!!!

I picked up the watch, and I’m pleased to note that the buttons all seem to be working again. .. EXCEPT, when I was using the equals side button, it suddenly popped all the way out. Luckily, I was in my car at the time and was able to quickly find it. Imagine how pissed I would have been if it had happened while I was wearing it outside(and didn’t notice it). I suspect that the clip that secures the button inside the case wasn’t reattached properly. I reluctantly handed it back to the repair person, praying that they can fix it(and don’t screw anything else up in the meantime).

I took my watch to Pineda’s Shop Watch Repair inside the Renton Fred Meyer Jewelers to have it’s battery changed. When I tried to wear it next, the stem wouldn’t turn properly, nor would/could the watch keep time. I took it back to the repair and spoke w/the owner, Leslie Pineda. She assured me this could not have happened while they changed the battery. Long story short, she decided to fix the watch for no charge to me, so I stupidly agreed to have the place that damaged the watch when changing it’s battery, in a place that could not have been damaged from them(according to her), now fix the watch. After being told several times when it would be ready and it wasn’t, to her saying she’d call me and didn’t, to she’s picking it up in Seattle that day and not, to having picked it up and went back to the jewelers, but forgot to leave my watch there so I could pick it up, to me going to pick it up and they couldn’t find it, I wouldn’t leave my clipped loose toe nails in this women’s care. Nothing added up that she told me. Her behavior reaks of someone on drugs. Watch wearers BEWARE.
