Banyan Massage

I stumbled on this place last night and decided to drop in. Like many Mandarin Chinese Speaking establishments, this is essentially a reflexology foot massage place that has a table massage option. There are about 4 rooms, I believe two of them have two of those comfy recliner seats common to foot massage places and other with tables. The ladies working there were pretty nice although, I think pushing for the $ 60 table massage and foot massage when all I wanted was the $ 35 one hour option. They are a bit short staffed as I waited about 15 minutes for the only masseuse working to finish before mine started. The hot water they use for the foot soak was HOT!!! they were nice enough to warn me. It was also spiked with some medicinal, blue Listerine looking stuff. Anyhow, the foot massage was good. I fell asleep so thats a good sign. They do also throw in a bit of a scalp and neck massage and massage both arms. They don’t do any back massage which some places throw in during foot massage. The price is a bit more than some of the other chinese foot massage places in Seattle and in Kirkland which usually charge $ 25 – 30 for 60 minutes foot massage which usually includes some back massage. Not a bad option if you are in the area.
